Thanks. Yeah, it was Flickr, I posted it there last week but forgot to put it here too.

I decided to select a Minifigure at random and do a build around them. I got series 19 Fox Costume Girl and this was the first thing that came to mind.

An updated version of the set 70594 - The Lighthouse Siege, It retains most of the features of the original, including a trapdoor that drops an attacker in to a jail in the rocks below, a hatch above the door to drop pots and pans on attackers below, and a light up light in the lighhouse. I don't have many Ninjago figures so it's only Bucko attacking, which doesn't make it much of a siege.

I chose 30551: Cinderella's Kitchen mainly because of the pun. The original used 37 pieces, this one used 50, but most of them are quite small. I also build another Ninjafied Set Here

Benny was initially a bit put out when he was told he had to recycle his old '80's technology, however he soon managed to make the most of it.

A temple arch. The design is not taken from any specific temple or culture, but takes inspiration from the temples of Tamil Nadu, India (although they are a lot more colourful). Also the guardian lions are more South East Asian.

The Great Steppes Walking Fortress War Tortoise was a rarely seen but formidable foe, reputed to have been empolyed by raiders from the east against Germanic tribes as early as 434AD. In fact there are few reliable documented cases of it's use in the field of battle, historians stating its lumbering gait, poor maneuverability and likely fictional nature as the major hinderances to its success.

The Black Crow is the ideal adventure 4x4 for the discerning gentleman like Lester looking to travel the world in style and comfort. There is ample storage room in both the back and the roof for all life's necessities. The powerful engine will get you over all terrain and is easily accessed and maintained. A fold-out awning provides shelter from sun and rain alike while you examine the treasures of your travels or enjoy a well earned cup of tea. Adventure Awaits!

[Autumn Animals] - Pug's Tree House
kritch replied to kritch's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks, rodiziorobs and Marishka, I'm happy you spotted the inverted pieces, I didn't think they'd come out very well in the picture. The upside-down part is locked in place further back. There are two 1 x 4 plates (one each side) connected to the upside-down pieces you can see, these each have a 1 x 1 tile on them, those upside down tiles sit on right way up 1x 1 tiles attached to the wall, then the bricks either side of the tiles prevent it from slipping. I hope that makes sense. -
I thought I'd give this a go as I don't really build in this theme, although I realised soon after starting the only Elves set I have is a small polybag. I had to use a Friend's pug as an Elves animal stand-in. The treehouse features a working lift that runs from the crystal cave to the top of the observation platform at the top of the tree The first Picture shows Pug on their way up in the lift, In the second they are enjoying some biscuits in the comfort of the cave, and the 3rd shows the back of the tree with the goove the lift runs on and the small operating tab.

Thanks for such a thorough review, it looks amazing and insanely detailed, unfortunately it is well out of my budget. Also I made a space slug
