  1. I'd love to go, but I'm heading out again for a few weeks on Sunday, so it really wouldn't make sense for me to do so. Speaking of which, I plan to put up the second Duplovia quest - Mystery in the Mines - when I come back!
  2. I will purchase the bow for the previously agreed upon 170, and the helmet for 670 and my silver ore (worth 60). It'd a bit heftier than I'd planned, but I'm willing to pay.
  3. I agree, all you guys are doing a fantastic job with your new characters!
  4. I hope I translated that correctly, CMP. If so, nice touch!
  5. Dyric walked back to Sorrow to make the final exchange. As he did, he contemplated Miderun's last words. Givrakdalgir. Dyric's grasp on the orc language was limited at best, but he'd picked up bits and pieces during his time at Baltarok. He couldn't recall hearing the word before, but elements of it sounded familiar. Givrak... The assassin stopped briefly, grinning. 'Shadow of Light'. Was that the Orcish translation of his moniker? Fascinating! Dyric Rone, Givrakdalgir. He would have to practice the pronunciation if he were to return to Baltarok.
  6. Miderun, I fear you've idolized me far more than I deserve. Two quests were on the board, I signed up for both. Perhaps it was fate that I was to come to Baltarok. I wish I could give you some deep answer as to my choice, but I have none. All I can say is I am glad to have came to Baltarok. I'm glad to have made a difference, and I'm glad the country is better off for it.
  7. 670, plus my silver ore (worth 60). But here, Erik, take my Aquamarine. I figure you can do a lot more with it than me.
  8. Indeed, but I can always use a nicer one. I'll meet your five hundred, plus an Aquamarine. I- wow. Thank you for your kind words, ma'am. I can't answer for the others, but for me, I came to help with the stability of the nation. I fight for the same thing here, and it's a large part of why I'm in Heroica. I'm the Assassin of the Light, and that means thwarting the evil and fighting for the good in the world, be it Eubric or elsewhere. I'll help where I can.
  9. Well, Erik? What do you say? Dyric Rone, yes. And you?
  10. 110 for the helmet. Let's not making this a bidding war, I'll most likely win.
  11. I suppose it'd be rude to get them for free. How does 40 for the helmet and 170 for the bow sound?
  12. Yes, your bow. If anything, it's in your best interests to keep it cycling through Heroica. If it's not too much, I could also do well with the Night's Helmet.
  13. I just... I don't know, I thought the Veterans had some sort of magic that would prevent that sort of thing. I don't pretend to understand their abilities but... ...So you're at peace with this, then? You're going to be alright?
  14. I - wow. From what? Farewell, Anavar.
  15. Well if you're not questing anymore, I can only presume you're leaving. Why?
  16. Hey, Sorrow. If you've heading out, could I possibly buy your bow of you? You've been poorly informed indeed. Heroica Hall is a place for heroes to gather and venture on quests for the betterment of Eubric and surrounding nations. Well, that's the general atmosphere, there are of course those who are here for the money, and not all of them are bad people. I suppose it's up to you to decide why you're here.
  17. I couldn't in good conscious steer you away from a Hero because of a problem I may have with them. Feel free to judge as you see fit, and make friends based on your own instincts, not mine. On the other hand, though, if you want to be pointed in the direction of some of the more noble heroes around, I could certainly help.
  18. At least. Some quests have taken up half a year. It's perfectly alright. You'll find plenty of friends here in the Hall, we're all friends here. Dyric pauses a moment. Well, most of us, anyways.
  19. I honestly wish I knew, I've been meaning to talk to him myself. It's been a while. This Hall has some weird time distortion or something about it, but I would give it a month or so at least.
  20. I'm looking out for your own benefit, kid. You're not going to get anywhere hunting down a well-respected hero with your little mob. It hardly matters anyways, Skrall's left on a quest. You missed him. I'm all for bringing this to a peaceful conclusion, but if you want to talk to Skrall you'll just have to sit back and wait. Now here's how you do things politely. Greeting, ma'am, I'm Dyric Rone. As for this kid, apparently Skrall's got a few debts he needs to pay. If you ask me, that's far from an excuse to go hunting Heroes.
  21. Look, kid. I don't think you're listening. Skrall's an honest ogre, if he has any debts he'll pay them in time. If that's not good enough for you, I'll pay them. Fact of the matter is, no Hero is hunting down another on my watch. If you want that sort of mess, hit the Arena.
  22. Doc is going to have a roleplaying character? I think when it comes down to it, I enjoy roleplay a lot more than stats, though I do feel that with my second character I will be trying a little harder to build a character with decent stats, now that I have a far better grasp on the system.
  23. I stand for justice. True justice. I know Skrall, and I can assure you that anyone who's placed a bounty on his head has the wrong idea. Aside from that, Skrall has faced a goddess and lived. I doubt you alone will be able to force him anywhere. But perhaps we can talk this over without any injury. I am Dyric Rone, Assassin of the Light. What debts has Skrall presumably acquired?
  24. Skrall is a fellow Hero, and more than that a friend. What would you have with him?
  25. Noticing a group forming, Dyric goes to investigate. He almost walks by until he picks up a bit of the conversation. Hey, Kid. What where you saying about finding an ogre?
