  1. I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE...! That's very clever and original! I love it!
  2. Reminds me so much of the unreleased Europa theme. It was like Pirates, but more mainland, and had more Red and Blue-Coat Soldiers.
  3. Would it be selfish of me to ask for a gho- *sees the Silent Mary* ... No, I'm still going to ask, because I'd like to see Lego's interpretation of Ghost Pirates. I want to see a sub-theme of Pirates, where there are Ghost pirates floating around spooping it up and covetously guarding their treasures from the Imperials and Redbeard's Crew alike! Plot twist: The Ghost Captain was Classic Readbeard all along! oooOOOooOH!
  4. If I may, I have my own personal update regarding the Ladybird books, Having perused Ebay over the past week, I've seen them crop up on Auctions. So far, I have utilized the 'Buy it now!' Feature for Will and the Gold Chase, Adventure on Shark Island, and The Royal Visit. Nothing on Captain Roger's Birthday yet.
  5. So I got the Apocalyptic Cat Lady and Scarfield from The Lego Movie: The Second Part CMF series, and I decided, inspired by the likes of Chubbybots and Machima Productions, to make Scarfield some cutting edge Power Armor. Then an impressive looking gun... Space Ship to follow soon. Partially inspired to try something like this from watching playthroughs of a game on the Playstation Marketplace called Kitty-Robo. It's basically Cat-Metroid. The name 'Towser' I got from something I recalled; Towser was the name of a Cat that was a mouser to one of the Oldest Distilleries in all of Scotland, known for having killed the most mice of any Mouser-Cat that ever lived. I figured the name would be appropriate for some Cat-Piloted Mech armor, for the greatest Exterminator/Bounty-Cat in the Galaxy. Other linear notes: Wanted to make as small and as compact a build as possible; basically a bipedal mech, with articulation, that's as big as a standard minifigure. This one is easily much taller... should have taken a picture of him with minifigure to scale.... Final design of the suit I feel is too clean and too sleek for the Scarfield variant of Lego Cat. Might find some random colored bits to make it look more beat-up or jury rigged, or slip-shod. I intend to make a video showing how I put this character together, and encourage anyone on the Sci-Fi Side of Euro-Bricks to concoct their own Feline/Canine Piloted Mecha!
  6. Oh, that's a good development! I look forwards to seeing them! :)
  7. Amazing series! Sitting through the entire thing right now!
  8. Even if the theme doesn't fit your particular tastes, on the upside, you'll have more new colors and elements to create something that does, combined with pieces from your collection, and your Builders' Savvy!
  9. So I made a follow-up to a Video related to a post here, regarding some Mech suits I made a while ago; Since my last posting, they've gone through several revisions, making them look less like the stock Nexo-Knight Battle suits, and more like Authentic Mocs.
  10. I've updated the model since the previous thread, and posted a Video about it on Youtube, if anybody here is interested.
  11. This is the first I've heard of a Lego Pirates movie. Any details??? Particularly interested, because I'm sitting on a Stop-Motion Project.
  12. Yeah, I was trying to figure out the best way to do this, as it was one of the play features from the Playset I was trying to emulate. Ultimately, I accomplished this with a tactical, solid, and legal use of parts. 2X4 wall bracket, 1X2 Clip Beam, 2X3 Clip. Yeah, my favorite part has to be the Jail Cell too! Big enough to fit one Minifigure, uncomfortably, lol. That, or the top of the Skull, with the Verdant Green Grass-Plates to make it more organic and Island-Like, and less like a solid piece of rock. Oh, another detail I LOVE about this thing is the whole lower-half of the skull! All Brick-Built!
  13. Yeah, somewhere between uploading the Images and posting them on Brickshelf, the Linked Thumbs appear to be inverted. I may have had to edit the images before posting them last time, this has happened before for me, not sure what I did to fix it. EDIT: For anyone else who somehow has the problem of Inverted Thumbnails on Brickshelf, if you upload Directly from your Digital Camera (or Smart Phone,) In my experience, Before posting them to Brickshelf, open them in any Editing Program (I used Paint, Just Right-Clicked and selected "Edit") and "Save" your picture, then Exit. This fixes your thumbs so that they're not inverted, because a Wizard did it.
  14. A new Moc I created receently, a Pirate Island Hideout inspired by an old Fisher Price Great Adventures! Playset. The Thumbnails seem to be inverted on Brickshelf.com for some reason. Full view to see it right side up. But here's the overall shot of the MOC A side-View of the Moc, featuring the prison Cell and the Smuggler's Cay. A back view of the Moc. The Cannon can be removed from the Balcony Comes with 4 Minifigures.
  15. I posted a Video Recently with my MOC Space Suit Builds. :) Something I failed to mention was that I Built Benny's Chest plate from scratch with pieces from my collection, because they didn't have the piece in Classic Blue.
  16. These are pretty good! :)
  17. Oh, this is nice! The skull-Hull and the colors remind me of the Red Beard Runner!
  18. Oh, this is BEAUTIFUL! I wish I kept my micro-ship I had together!
  19. Oh yeah, MoC Your Bricks is an amazing Builder!
  20. New Video up, featuring an updated version of the model!
  21. Metalbeard's Duel is my favorite set! I got some duplicates of the instructions, AND I've made a couple MOCs. Give me a second to check something EDIT: CHECKED SOMETHING Yeah, Littleworlds has the hookup. I checked Brickshelf to see if they had an archive of Instructions. No such luck.
  22. As a matter of fact it is! (well, it's marketed as an Airplane piece; but for the most part, yes) It came in the 2012 Lego Spongebob set, "The Flying Dutchman", and is a major seed piece in a few mini-ship builds I have lying around.
  23. I thought it would be safe to share this latest MoC with you, because it utilizes some discontinued/outdated parts, more specifically 33 stud long Rope and stud pieces for rigging. It's the latest of my Pirate-Airships. Granted, it looks more like its source inspiration, the Raid Zeppelin from the Ninjago "Infinite Skies" line. what separates this creation from the Raid Zeppelin includes the unique shape of the bow of the ship, a Lego Airplane Fuselage piece in Dark Brown, one of my favorite pieces, found in the 2012 Lego Spongebob Flying Dutchman set, acts as the bow of the ship. The aforementioned rigging is attached to the sides of the Zeppelin utilizing some SNOT construction, with a pair of 4X6 Frame pieces with 4 holes on the longer sides, where Technic stud pins securely hold 1X10 plates in place with the rigging configuration, as well as Booster details. I secured the Skeleton to the bow of the ship, utilizing (guestimate) a 22 stud long Bley Chain, wrapped around the Skeleton, twice, making an X around its chest. which holds it in place, and fastened to the bow of the ship. Other details on the Zeppelin include the Sonar computer screen (2X4 Flat plate decal with bricks) from the original Raid Zeppelin set, as well as a functioning spring-loaded cannon (more in a cosmetic state than an actual functional play feature) , and a pair of Stud shooters. The Baloon also has a Round plate in the center of the turbine, with a fan print from the Spider man Vs. Carnage set, which included a small shield Helicraft. I plan to update the thread, with detail shots of the main deck of the craft, with improved lighting.
  24. I prefer calling a heavy mix of Pre-Steam Punk and Pirates Bilge-Punk, personally. They're close to figuring out how Steam Combustion works, but the Pirates pour anything into the Engines, Salt Water, Swill, Rum, and with varying, often times disastrous, results.
  25. Lookimng at this model, I'm immediately thinking about the Lyrics to the opening theme of Team America: World Police. Great work on this particular mech!
