Did anyone check out this guy's brickshelf gallery to see if there were more fakes present? Well to answer my own question: Yes I did. He appears to have done a couple of other fake mini mock ups: Other Fake Minis I don't mean to impune any deceitful motives to the gentleman. And I must say his photoshop skills are quite good. Besides, I don't believe its real. The box's edges are too sharp and clean. It doesn't even look like a real box. Yet another mystery solved, Steve Elementary my dear eurobricks ;)

Just a little concerned about the use of profanity I don't usually have a problem with it, and in fact use it myself on occasion, but Lego is in essence a kids toy, and as such children will be the most likely visitors to the site. As such, I don't think there should be profanity exhibited in such a prominent manner. Just, a thought, Steve

No adventurers... :( Oh well. Mutant Dinosaurs, what in the world is that? As if regular dinosaurs were good (or bad) enough. And what is the deal with the light up eyes? I thought the blasted light up sabers were bad enough, just going to make the sets that much more expensive. The collectable minidinos are intriguing, though. Not suprising they were able to keep in under wraps with all the attention being focused on Star Wars and Harry Potter and to a lesser extent Vikings. I'm a little disappointed it isn't Adventurers, but maybe it will be a good theme. Steve

My observations: Magnetic hand? *wacko* Sounds like lego is getting a little too gimmicky for my tastes... Ship looks interesting. I kind of like the Horntail dragon. I also like the various colors of Dumbledore's hair (red on the mermaid and tan on the death eater) maybe we'll get some beards to match. Prices look ok. Did anyone see that winged figure in the cemetary? That looks like it has some potential. Mermaid! And done reasonably well... but why only one? Of course all in that blasted flesh tone *sick* Steve

Its just kind of a light joke. Since Romania isn't a town, but rather a country, there can't be a downtown Romania. It was just an easy, and I was hoping humerous, way for me to avoid really pinning myself down to any specific locale. These stories aren't real big on historical, geographical, or scientific accuracy, just like the 1930s serial adventures, they are trying to emulate. ;) There are gypsies in Romania though, right? Thanks. I picked up a bunch of 1 x 2 lime green bricks from PaB. I like how it turned out. Not much there yet is there? I'm realizing there is a lot of setting up to be done before getting to the heart of the story. I'm thinking this one might be a little long. Steve
