  1. "Oh, plenty. People tend to get angry when you take their gold. Case in point: that youngster elven ranger over there. And please, call me Jess. Don't take me too seriously, I'm really a light-hearted elf," Jess replied with a grin on her face.
  2. "Thanks Bartholomew, but I'm still nursing my pint and my lamb leg," Jess said, taking a swig of her ale and a bite of her lamb. That duck does look mighty tasty, though... Maybe a bite. Jess took a chunk out of the duck, smiling.
  3. "Ah. Makes sense. It's nice to know that someone as clever as me is running around with deadly weapons and traps, though," Jess said.
  4. "Clever and good with traps? How have we not met before?" Jess asked teasingly. I wonder why he's not a rogue, what with him being that clever and having trapped coins... Must be one of those Goody-goody types.
  5. "Ah, mighty clever yeh are! Here's your fake coins," Jess tossed them over with a wide grin. "I might be getting to like you!"
  6. "Ah, okay Bartholomew. Very interesting story you got there." Jess takes a long dreg of her mead, much to Bartholomew's disdain. He's nice enough for a ranger, Jess thought. 'Least he's not pointing a weapon at me. I might even give him back his coin bag I filched a few minutes ago.
  7. "Oh, shut up and accept it. ," Jess said with a grin. "Oh, thank you," Jess added as Scheherazade handed her her pint and lamb. "So, tell me about yourself, Bart."
  8. "It can't, that's why I pulled up a chair, my friend," laughed Jess. "You needn't worry about the safety of your coins, I promise that I'd give them back!"
  9. "That's fine, Tesni. I didn't even know I fell asleep! " Jess called. She's right about the protective traps, though. Especially with that idiot Ranger pointing his crossbow at me all the time, Jess thought, suppressing a grimace.
  10. Jess was startled awake by the noise arising in Heroica Hall. "*YAWN*." What'd I miss? I see that Tesni isn't with me any more, and neither is Eric. I must have dozed off. Maybe I'll go find a few more rogues to socialize with. Or perhaps that Bartholomew guy, even though he is a ranger, Jess thought. Jess went and sat by Bartholomew. Can I get another leg of lamb and another pint over here, Scheherazade?" Jess called loudly.
  11. *Whoops, sorry for the repeat post, not sure what happened there.
  12. "I'm not afraid of you. Here, take the other two coins if you really want them. But know this: if you ever point a crossbow at me again, expect a poisoned knife between your ribs. Don't trifle with me, youngster." Jess turned back to the Barbarians, a slight smile touching her lips.
  13. "I'm not afraid of you. Here, take the other two coins if you really want them. But know this: if you ever point a crossbow at me again, expect a poisoned knife between your ribs. Don't trifle with me, youngster." Jess turned back to the Barbarians, a slight smile touching her lips.
  14. "Since you're such a good person, here's the three gold I took from you earlier while you were drinking." Jess handed the gold over with an impish grin.
  15. "Indeed! My brother Rolf always got hungry after he ran. He'd come home and eat everything in sight!" I miss Rolf, Jess thought. I wish I hadn't mentioned him now.
  16. "Well, you're off to a great start with the 'getting known' part. Half the men here already fear you, and you've found a fellow Barbarian. You also have a friend in me. If you ever need anything, find me. Would you like the rest of this lamb leg? I'm stuffed." Jess handed the leg off to Tensi.
  17. Great game! I'm having a lot of fun role-playing.
  18. "Aye, we do live for an uncomfortable amount of time. So where are you from? I've heard tales of the Hightribe, and I'm mighty curious."
  19. "It appears that all the Gentlemen here aren't Gentlemen at all, so I'll buy me own pint. Scheherazade, would you be so kind? I'd also like that lamb leg you got cooking there." After gathering up her food and drink, Jess decides to sit with the Barbarians. "Hello!" Jess says, directing her speech to Eric. "You're Norse, correct? My mother was dear friends with a Norse woman named Jess Sveinn, my namesake. Perhaps you know her family? She's obviously long gone by now. It's unfortunate that Human lives are so short." Jess took a long swig of her pint of mead, and tore into her leg of lamb. Jess turned her attention to Tesni. "I've heard of the Hightribe. Certainly a mighty and frightening bunch! You fit the description." Jess takes another bite of her lamb.
  20. Jess walked into the Hall, and looked around. There sure are a lot of rowdy men around here... She thought. And even more Elven Rangers... Better steer clear of them, I've probably stolen something from at least one of them. "So boys, a Lady Elven Rogue walks into a bar. Who cares to buy her a pint?" Jess Islanti, Level 1 Rogue 74 year old female Elf. Power: 4/4 Health: 7/7 Gold: 10 Inventory: Longsword (WP: 3), Vial of Venom, Potion. "I'll go ahead and throw my name in for the Harvest Time quest, if it pleases yeh!"
