I told my party that my quest was hard. And that was just the first battle... @Brickdoctor: Only Normal attacks are ineffective against the undead. Magic, healing, and bombs are all effective.

Since there is only one enemy left, the next round will be played automatically. I should have done this earlier, sorry. Results of Round 3 of Undead Nobleman Battle: Hoke Ablesworth vs. Undead Nobleman- Damage Tesni Hightribe vs. Undead Nobleman- Shield Tarn Valco vs. Undead Nobleman- Hit Alexis Fenral vs. Undead Nobleman- Damage Althior Emorith vs. Undead Nobleman- Critical Hit (Lightening Spell) Ellaria Arbour vs. Undead Nobleman- Spirit Guard The Nobleman decides to step out of his coffin, seeing as his fellows were dead. Hoke ran head-first at the Nobleman, only to get a gash to the side, receiving 6 damage. Seeing her questmate bleeding from the wound, Tesni once again launches into a Frenzy, which does nothing to the Undead fiend. Tarn scores a hit, slashing a scar in a rib bone. The skeleton only laughs. The Nobleman lashes out against Alexis, dealing a whopping 8 damage. Enraged at his party's injuries, Althior releases a powerful burst of lightening magic, causing 12 damage, thus killing the Nobleman once and for all. The Nobleman groans, climbs back into the coffin, and falls into a pile of bones. Tarn reaches in and grabs the crown, a bone, and the dagger, and adds them to the pile of goodies to be distributed. Jess walked into the market, and sought out Portia's. "Hello Portia, I'd like two fire bombs, please." Jess handed over 10 gold, leaving her with 30. "Thank you Portia!"

Jess waved goodbye to the party leaving for adventures, and went to prepare for her own adventures.

Seeing that their target has been killed, Tesni, Tarn, and Alexis are forced to switch to the Undead Nobleman. Tesni is enraged from her getting bitten the previous round, and goes into a battle frenzy. While her might would have undoubtedly killed a normal enemy, it unfortunately has no effect on the Nobleman. Inspired by Tesni's beauty in battle, Tarn swings mightily, but it has no effect on the skeleton. Alexis snipes the Nobleman in the eye, but the Nobleman grins more widely. Althior decides to wipe the smirk off of the Nobleman's face, casting a Great Spell, causing 12 damage to the Nobleman, indeed wiping the grin of of its face. Ellaria attempts to follow up by healing the undead creature, but fails in doing so. The Undead Nobleman remains. Jess sees the the list of heroes for Quest 7, and grins. "Alright, let's do this!"

"Aye, I've been told that my singing is nice. So tell me about yourself, Haldor." Jess took a bite of the duck, and glanced at the shade that she and Haldor were sharing the bar with. He was staring at them. Jess felt a shiver go down her spine, and turned back to Haldor.

Jess blushed at the compliment, and took a swig of her mead to steady herself. "I enjoy a good fight. I also love the sounds of the forest." Leaning in closer, Jess whispered in Haldor's ear... "I secretly love to sing." Jess leaned back into her chair, and took another drink from her cup.

"I'd like a mead, please. Share a duck with me?" Jess watched as Haldor ordered the food and drinks. "I believe that you should decide what to talk about."

Jess hears Haldor out, and smiles. "Okay, Haldor. You can buy me a drink, and we'll talk."

Jess sees Haldor in a cluster of heroes. Sterling herself, she walks over. "Look Haldor; I'm flattered. But I don't know if I can handle a relationship right now..." Seeing Haldor's dejected face, Jess's heart melts. "Alright, you have one chance to impress me." Jess waits to hear Haldor's reply.

Seeing the Undead Nobleman sitting pretty and watching the battle, Alexis throws her lightening bomb, dealing 5 damage all enemies, killing Spider A. Althior stands dumbfounded as his target is killed by the bomb, and doesn't choose a new target in time. Ellaria feels sorry for the nobleman's pitiful state, and attempts to heal him. Instead, she deals 2 damage to him, since he is undead. Spider C and the Undead Nobleman remain. The party heads right. As they walk down the passageway, the eerie noises steadily get louder. At the end of the passageway, the noises carry into moans, and a rattling accompanies the moans. As Ellaria points the torch forward, a coffin is illuminated... As Tarn begins to discuss what the party should do, the lid of the coffin slides open... A Skeleton pops his head out, wielding a knife. Three large black spiders accompany him. The skeleton's head slowly turns toward the party, and unleashes a horrific scream... PREPARE FOR BATTLE! The barking ceases for a moment, then starts right back up again. The party is not close enough to use Animal Friend effectively.

As the party deliberates, something wakes up in the passage to the left. Loud barking ensues...

As soon as they walk in, they encounter a fork in the cave. An eerie noise is coming from the right. Which way will the party go? RIGHT or LEFT?

Arriving at Eran Hinckwell's residence, the party follows the path to the cave, where they see Eran waiting, a torch in hand. His eyes were unfocused, and it appeared that time had not dealt with him well. "Heroes. Glad you came. That racket's keeping me from my beauty sleep! I need it to maintain my beautiful and youthful appearance." "Now, I bought this property from a family of mages, who've long since been extinct on Eubric ever since. They used this cave for a burial place. If my suspicions are correct, you're up for a fight when you head in there." "There's probably a bunch of loot in there, so that'll be your bounty, along with the improved relations and extra level of experience. I've been needing a shovel, so if you find one, bring it to me. I'll give you something nice for it." "There's one catch. One of you has to carry this torch. It only has a (WP: 1). It's necessary to light the cave. If the person who carries this torch drops it or is downed, then you will fail, and surely die in the cave. I will hold your weapon for you. So Party Leader, choose who will carry this. I'll wait in the mean time." The old Hinckwell stands and waits for the decision.

For those of you who have been chosen for my quest that have already been on one... My quest isn't easy. I wanted some more experienced players mixed in, so I have half level ones and half semi-vets. Have fun in the cave, it's going to be good.
