  1. Jess returned to Heroica Hall, and went to look at the quest board. "Interesting, it looks like the party for Quest #5 is up." Written on the board were these lucky heroes... Ellaria Arbour (Sandy) Tesni Hightribe (Peppermint_M) Tarn Valco (Rumble Strike)- Party Leader Alexis Fenral (Masked Builder) Hoke Ablesworth (UsernameMDM) Althior Emorith (K-nut) "Hm. Good luck to the chosen heroes!"
  2. Is it too late to apply for VP? :P

  3. Alex Jordan, checking in! Who needs some accounting done? And where's my darling Sarah?
  4. "Um... Interesting. Here, read this..." Jess handed the ranger the note, and waited patiently for her response and thoughts.
  5. Congrats on the Fellowship, well deserved!

  6. "I've lived a long time, been many places. I can't say with honesty that this is the first heart I've stolen. But I've never acted upon it before."
  7. Jess walked into the bar. "Hold up there, Jess!" Scheherazade called to her. "What's up, Scheherazade?" "A certain Norse Cleric left this letter for you..." Jess read the letter, then re-read it, her heart pumping. Unsure of how to handle this turn of events, Jess sought the advice of her good friend Tesni, who was drinking a beer. "Tesni! I need some advice. Read this..."
  8. Jess thought for a moment, then pulled a quill out from her bag. Jess began to write in her hard writing on the note... Hello, my Norse admirer. I'm so sorry that I've missed you for this long; you should know that I sleep at odd times. I want to know what you wanted to tell me... Jess left the note on the bar, and took a seat.
  9. Jess walks into Heroica Hall, looking for some way to pass the time. Seeing a letter on the bar, Jess picks it up and reads it. "Poor sob," Jess said to herself. "He should know that I sleep at different times than he does. I know exactly who it is, too..."
  10. I believe you mean female characters, such as ours.
  11. Jess extended her hand in reply. "Hello, Thothwick! I'm Jess. So Byblos is your cousin? He's a fine librarian. In fact, I saw him a little while ago. Great fellow!"
  12. "I've spent most of it, but I've saved forty pieces for future use," Jess said, eyeing her change purse. "Future pathways, eh? Interesting discussion! I'm not sure what else I'd like to learn."
  13. Jess sat down with Tesni and a strange-looking fellow. "Hello, friend!" Turning to the strange-looking man, Jess said "Hello! Who're you? Tell me about yourself."
  14. Jess returns to Heroica Hall, and looked at the questboard. "Hm... I'll sign up for Quest #7, it looks like they need a strong fighter." Jess then saw Tesni in the bar, and headed her way.
  15. "Erm, what?" Jess was confused.
  16. "You're probably right. I just can't see the Shadeaux hiring you now." Jess took a swig of her ale.
  17. "Yes, I'm looking forward to Quest #5 quite a bit. I heard it's going to be awesome and fun. I'm not going to sign up though, as I have a prior engagement. "
  18. "Very nice! I'll be sure to be a return customer of his."
  19. "Well, surprisingly enough. After that scarecrow, I thought we were done for sure..." Jess launched into her story, finishing it some ten minutes later. "Oh, and I upgraded Blohdhurm! Lookit!" Jess unsheathed Blohdhurm, and laid it on the table again. "That Anwyl is simply a genius in his craft."
  20. "Yes, twenty gold is better than a useless weapon any day!"
  21. Jess looked up at Tesni, then went and collected the dagger. "You want this back?"
  22. Jess watched Haldor bustle out of the bar, with a look of amusement gracing her features. "He seemed quite taken with me, didn't he?"
  23. "Come now, Haldor. You're making me blush here, which is a very hard thing to make an elf do."
  24. Jess returned to the bar, just in time for the Norseman to pick up on their conversation. Jess smiled broadly. "Good to know that I still have fans among the male population." Jess took a swig of her drink, and turned back to Haldor. "A fanatic, eh? As long as you don't stalk me in my sleep, I'm fine with that," Jess said jokingly. "My home? Well, my home was a forest. I lived there with my mother, father, and brother. We were part of a large village of elves, of which my father was, how you humans say, a governor? He was head of that our village, anyways. He tried to teach me to be noble and just, like a knight, but I decided to leave the nobleness to my brother, Rolf."
  25. Jess frowned. "Thanks anyways, Byblos. This trip has been informative enough." With that, Jess turned heel and walked back to Scheherazade's bar.
