Jess returned to the bar, just in time for the Norseman to pick up on their conversation.
Jess smiled broadly. "Good to know that I still have fans among the male population." Jess took a swig of her drink, and turned back to Haldor.
"A fanatic, eh? As long as you don't stalk me in my sleep, I'm fine with that," Jess said jokingly.
"My home? Well, my home was a forest. I lived there with my mother, father, and brother. We were part of a large village of elves, of which my father was, how you humans say, a governor? He was head of that our village, anyways. He tried to teach me to be noble and just, like a knight, but I decided to leave the nobleness to my brother, Rolf."
