D3K's MOCs
Alasdair Ryan replied to D3K's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I look forward to this moc being finished. If you have four of the large yellow tread sprockets you could use them as wheel hubs like I did (that's if you want yellow ones). -
Erix Builds
Alasdair Ryan replied to erix's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Good work but i think the cab on the dragster is falling off the end of the chassis. -
I would use two V2 receivers rather than one.The new receivers allows more power to the motor.

Komatsu wheel loader
Alasdair Ryan replied to jorgeopesi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I think the hand rail is a little to high,I also agree that the cab is little small. -
What a great boat. One thing i spotted I failed to see any work light on the crane.

RC Quad (kawasaki style)
Alasdair Ryan replied to piterx's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Don't worry about it then. I guess I will need to start making some boring old cars and off road stuff in the future. -

Your Quad looks very good for the size it is. Small and compact, well done.I look forward to the instructions. -

What about using inverted slopes down the inside of each segment? -
What..... but that's the best part of technic especially if you get backlash..... But honestly if you gear down a pf motor it will be much faster than a standard motor, and if you get stuck come and see us on the technic forum.

Great Australian Ute
Alasdair Ryan replied to Aussie BJ's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Its out of scale and way too square, but it does have some nice futures like the engine and the rear tilting bed. -
Dump truck
Alasdair Ryan replied to Sicil's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Small but good. I am not a fan of the middle joint like Zbij says its a bit weak. -
Its a bit out off scale..... I think it needs to be less wide and the engine the full length. Someone has a fan club.......
