This kind of MOCs I love the most. It has an oriental and historical look & feel which I like a lot. I'm hoping you make more adventure MOCs.

Indeed, it won't be easy with so many fine ships. I hope that once the contest is over, some of these ships get a dedicated topic in the forum so we can have some detailed discussions. The latest entry (Fat Tony) certainly deserves one.

I really like those custom sails of yours. The old sails are more realistic, but the colorful ones go better with the ship.

What a ship *wub* I like the clean and straight forward design of this mighty instrument of war. Solid design, good color schema, sails that look very good, lots of details, ... . Yes sir, I like this ship of yours. Does it have an interior? Only thing I would change is the rigging that sticks above the platform in some of the masts (near the top). Somehow I would put that platform a bit higher in the mast, so the rigging terminates at the platform.

Thanks for making this fine review! It's the first time I take a look at this set. I think I'll have a look on eBay if I can find this one.

Welcome at Eurobricks! Maybe the best is to buy via Shop@Home. I was recently in the Middle-East (Jordan) and noticed they had very few Lego sets. The ones they had were very pricy.
