I just bought a s***load of used LEGO. including 8018 Armored assault tank 7748 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid 7914 Mandalorian Battle Pack 7668 Rebel Scout Speeder 7913 Clone Trooper Battle Pack 7958 Star Wars Advent Calendar. The pile also seems to include Atlantis 8080 Undersea Explorer Atlantis 8058 Guardian of the deep City 3369 Space Centre City 7686 Helicopter Chase City 7945 fire station City 7207 Fire Boat Dino 5884 Raptor Chase Harry Potter 4841 Hogwarts express Monster Fighters 9461 The swamp creature Ninjago 2506 Skulltruck Ninjago 2509 Earth Dragon Defense Ninjago 9441 Kai's Blade Cycle Ninjago 2260 Ice Dragon Attack Pirates of the Caribean 4195 Queen Anne's Revenge There a some 6-8000 bricks - I haven't weighed it yet - I'm busy sorting it in colours first. There were no instructions, so I have had to look at the minifigs and bricks to figure out which sets are in the pile. (there are a few more sets I haven't listed, where I'm not certain which sets they are yet. The kid who had all this LEGO before must have been the neighbor's kid in Toy story - nearly all the minifigs are completely disassembled, even arms and legs - so when I'm done I'm interested in seeing how many figures are missing limbs. Price: 53 €

It's great! It's simple. It's detailed. It really follows the assignment very well! I really like the bedroom lamp!

It looks really great. The more I look at the more details I see. The blood on the floor is great and the princess room is well made. I really Line the way you have made the corridors and removable roof!

So here is my entry for Episode 3. It took up all of my white plate bricks - anything from 6*12 to 1x1 :) I just got the wife the Winter village Cottage and Market sets, and those two are crawling with large white base plates, but couldn't use those - oh no, not during the holidays :) _______________________________________________ When the imperials attacked Echo base no one thought to check the princess's royal quarters. Every''one was too busy keeping the imperial scum at bay for long enough for everyone to escape safely. According to the orders we were given some very secret plans were stored inside the princess's wedding chest, and it was imperative that this was retrieved before the imperial troops would get to them and probably ransac the place. The royal chambers were placed somewhat away from the main part of the base, and it was suspected that the imperial forces wouldn't know of the whereabouts of the base before they hacked through most of the computers. When we got to the royal chambers, it was obvious that they had suffered in the snow, the corridors where blocked with snow and ice, and we would have to dig our way through to find the princess' wedding chest. Bringing a shovel to Hoth is like bringing a spoon to a blasterfight, we had to use pick axes and a snowdrill to get through to the chest. We had intercepted a message leaving Hoth base that the imperial troops had learned the location of the royal chambers and would look for it tomorrow. While the others where digging my job was to keeo a lookout for anything suspicious above ground. What I saw gave me a sudden chill and made me rush back to the others to cool it with the digging or we would be made for sure. Those AT-ATs are not to be messed with. Thank god it was a blizzard outside or they would have made out the backup generator for the royal chambers or the entrance hatch easily. Why were they out in such weather, and why were they carrying a chainsaw and an axe? Playing some sort of real life version of Doom versus Wampas? I know this place is like a wintery hell, but still that sounds to messed up for imperial storm troopers. ____________________ The AT-AT from the front. I was building this out of the remnants of my grey parts just when EP III, came out so I just had to use it. Rear Shot (seems obvious what those tools where for :) ) The Binocular shot without photoshop (Paint.Net) The backup generator seen through the legs of the AT-AT And by it self A shot down the corridor towards the ladder and the hatch (Feels like Vader is about to enter) A shot of the base without the AT-AT and minifigs. just for reference. Hope you enjoyed the show :)

They look great together, but I'm thinking that the TIE-fighters are too large. In the Death Star Trench, three TIE-fighters fit easily, but there is only room for two X-wings.

Don't feel silly! Anyone with enough time and dedication could build a 71000 piece SSD, the real challenge is to build with only a few bricks and make it look realistic and to scale. (Don't get me wrong I am seriously impressed with Fox Hound's LDD SSD)

Episode VI - Pit of carkoon - Sarlacc Diorama
pihlbrick replied to markus1984's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Sarlac didn't have a beak in '83 :) -
I think it is beautiful, I am always amazed by your LDD-skills and concepts. But I would like to see it build with real bricks to see if those underwings will stay attached and in place. It would be cool if they where attached to the body as well and not just the engines.

First thought: Wauw, I am in awe! Second thought: aren't you a bit short for a storm trooper? Shouldn't the triangular part be a bit longer, making it a bit pointier. Third thought: I love the amount if detail on it even thought it isn't actually that big.

[MOC] Skap, a car transformers (31007 power mech alternate model)
pihlbrick replied to bacem's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I really like the head of the robot. That is very well done! And it is awesome that it actually transforms! But I would like to see you clean it up a bit. It looks as if you have tried to use all the pieces of the set, instead of just some of them. I feel that both the car and the robot looks messy, as if the transforming part has taken over the build. - it doesn't look like a proper car and the robot could be more clean. -
What a Nice clean entry. I like the snotted sloped screens a lot!

It looks really great. My first impression from the first shot was that this looks like an old 8-bit C64 game with the blocky arrows (totally thumbs up) But I would really hate having to pilot the falcon through such a narrow doorway :) seems it would be hard to turn it around in there as well. But as a display peace it is beautiful!

What? No screenshots? Now I have to open up my work Computer and it's the holidays... :) I'm thinking a V-shaped V-wing or maybe a w-wing for any stutterers out there. An H wing could carry some serious engines/cannons - same with an E-wing with the cockpit in the middle - that's almost a Jedi interceptor :)

I just picked up a couple of used sets. The AT-AT (4483 from 2003) and the Republic Cruiser (7665) at a fairly good price - however they only came with some of the minifgures :( But still I'm looking forward to some quality build time. :)

For anyone in Denmark, I saw a lot of the new sets at Salling in Aarhus, and all toys are sold with a 25% discount.

This is awesome. I mean why would anyone enter the "Alternate building"-competition after this :) You won't be carrying any Carbonite Solo in this one, but I really like the notion of a small and nimble Slave-1! My A-wing-wings is tied up in a white/blue version of the 75025 Jedi Defender, otherwise I wanted to build this in real life.

Seriously, that looks like something from right out of the CW animated series. That looks really awesome!

You mean besides your own thread about the Zenith :) I just saw this a few days ago on your Flickr, it just looks absolutely breathtaking even unassembled as it is. Maybe you should consider displaying it in a "shipyard"-state :)

SoNE Contest Episode III: Return to Echo Base

Pilots can land and get out can't they? Or in your imperial case, get shot down and flee:) -
