  1. The party went well. The kids had a lot of fun. Here is a picture of the collaborative tower build. click for larger
  2. I just added 99 of 10188 to my cart. Also, 10188 is still in the fall catalog. I think it will be around for another season. However, it is an awesomne set, and I would not take the risk of missing it.
  3. Thanks Dave! I will be adding a Collaborative Planned Builds. My Daughter loves to build houses. I see a 12 story house in the works here.
  4. This weekend my oldest daughter is turning 9, and is having a LEGO Birthday party. I am looking for some party games that involve LEGO. Has anyone played, or have any ideas of good LEGO party games? Some examples: Build Name Collage / Free Build Each child will build their name using LEGO blocks on one large collage. Build and Pass A child will add one block to a creation and pass. This will continue until the creation is complete. Great Tower Build A bag containing blocks will be used to pick partners. Matching colors will determine teams. In sets of two, each team will attempt to build a tall tower. This event will be timed. Hot LEGO Hot potato with LEGO. Each child will have to add one block to the structure before passing. Blind Build Each child will attempt to build a set by looking at instructions, but not the blocks.
  5. I think this series deserves it's own thread.
  6. As Jamie Bernard has been busy with other sets, I also expect there to be a longer wait for the next release.
  7. I am also very anxious to see what is next in line. LEGO keep this series coming. I will be buying two of each and every set you add. I even bought 2 of the Fire Brigade, even thought I did not care for that one. They are still in the box actually. I would welcome a Pet Shop, that has a lot of potential.
  8. It was about this time last year that 10211 rumors started to surface. Any word on the next modular in the series?
  9. I agree! The Death Star is very playable, one of the most playable sets I have purchased, don't that playability scare you away. IT wont be around for more than another year or two.
  10. I would pass on the Community Workers as you can get figs off from bl for a reasonable price. The MMV and GG will not be around many more months.
  11. If I where you I would pick up the Green Grocer ASAP, you will not regret it.
  12. This set is not listed on the 2010 Holiday Catalog. If you want it, you better pick one up!
  13. Your girl lets you display LEGO in your bedroom?
  14. If $$ is not an issue buy both the 7939: Cargo Train and the 10194: Emerald Night. If you can get just one, answer this: do you have kids? If yes then I would get the 7939: Cargo Train. As it would be better for the whole family to enjoy. Also, be careful. You may awaken a AFOL!
  15. To summarize: Your storage will evolve as your collection grows. If you have < 10,000 pieces I would start by sorting by color. You can pull out the small pieces and sort them by type. As your collection grows you will find that you will need to start breaking things down by type.
  16. You could use the stinky pete head.
  17. Petra
  18. The price of Brick, Modified 1 x 1 with Studs on 2 Sides will no longer demand $0.25
  19. I have around 20 of these . They work great for those small pieces such as headlight, 1x1 plates and tiles, and such.
  20. I just posted them all here.
  21. I may have messed up some of the numbers, sorry. Find the lowest price on bricklink for the set, make sure it is a price for a complete set, and then lower that by %10. I would rather not trade, as I am looking to get more blocks for a castle project, or cash for lumber to build shelving. The lowest complete 7654 Droids Battle Pack on bricklink is $20. That is too high, so I will go %20 less and take $16. If you take multiple I will pay for shipping. I am not interested in selling just the figs, is that what you are asking?
  22. That set is brand new, in great condition.
  23. They can control the adds. They need to log into their Addsence account and block this particular add. Add block Plus would like to be your friend.
