  1. More work done today....still even more tomorrow. Comments still welcome.
  2. Looking better everytime 'bootz', but you still need a bank....people need to borrow money to buy Bolt's right ? Also I didn't realise the Stig was visiting your town ? Keep going and Brick On 'bootz' !
  3. AWESOME truck 'HIGHWAY PATROL', the tipper mechanism and all the detailing in 8 wide is prefect.....Brick On Truck On 'HIGHWAY PATROL' !
  4. I've never seen a brick-built Chewie before......AWESOME 'Legostein'....those figures have that steam-punk feel to them don't they ? Brick On 'Legostein' !
  5. Great looking engine 'solta', any rolling stock to join this engine ? Brick On !
  6. Interesting so far 'SeanM', what are you going to do about front doors ? Plus this will have to be a tall structure, though is it going to be a department store or speciality store (i.e. fashion) ? Also is it based on anything in the real world, sometimes using real life structures as inspiration helps in your final plans for a creation ? Keep going and Brick On 'SeanM' !
  7. Cool looking 5 wide sports car, pity you haven't used the mag wheels from the Cars2 theme on your sports car....but still I like it ! Brick On Race On 'Artemik_Kaltahchan' !
  8. Not bad so far 'jonwil', your problem with the ceiling is quite simple.....white plates to fit between the walls and the next floor are plates on top of those ceiling ones. I look forward to your progress.....Brick On !
  9. 'EM4CZ' this is very funny, great digital creation with tons of humour thrown in. Watch out for deadly lipsticks and Brick On 'EM4CZ' !
  10. Quick little update, prop making again.....walls starting to also go up....more tomorrow. Edit - garage door being designed this morning as well as the second half of the building...mirror image of the first half.
  11. Well at least it's not too bad price wise.....might check Gepps Cross tomorrow. Oh, yeah Friend's have arrived at Castle Plaza Target (brought 3 small sets - couldn't help myself - they are too cute ) and starting to be put out tonight at Kmart Ingle Farm.
  12. I would suggest 'jonwil' for you to install support posts spaced far enough apart not to effect the interior of the ground floor, but close enough to support the ceiling/next floor. It also depends on how thick the ceiling is going to be as well. Post what you have done so far so we can judge for ourselves and work out the best way to do it.
  13. Thanks 'rriggs' for your kind words, later today I'll be starting on the garage frontage and if you think what's here so far is cool wait to you see the garage. Updating a.s.a.p.
  14. Excellent vig 'Velika314', though not very deep is it.....or the water isn't very clear....must stem from the River Yarra in Melbourne ! Brick On Fish On 'Velika314' !
  15. 'Brickus' is right about the Toyworld catalogue, here's a link to it and it's all Lego ! Toyworld Catalogue Page
  16. Remember everyone, it's children who play with this as well , so it must interest them the most.....interactive play is very important. Features of opening sections, operating machinery and cool vehicles is generally what kids what and as close to real life as possible. A group of market stalls might work if tied to a transport or police sub-theme....delivery of goods or customers or yet again police chasing a thief between the stalls. I still wait for two things, a new truck stop (25 year wait) and a builders/construction/mining supplies (hardware store)...heaps of tools, materials and the chance of cool machinery - loading cranes, front end loader, another telearm lift truck. Like I said, it's what a child would want to play with, so put on your 10 year old kid thinking cap and get dreaming !
  17. Very neat design 'bricksboy', a little cramped though but you have all the elements to an ice cream van......good one ! Brick On 'bricksboy' with a choc-dipped soft-serve cone.
  18. Sadly it appears to be a MOC, no stickers i.d.'ing it as a set at all. I think we should keep the chat on actual 2012 sets so we don't cop a rap over the knuckles by a moderator/regulator.
  19. Not bad 'Tragic Banjo', you only need to make it more steam punk and you'll have a cool SP mecha. Steam Punk On 'Tragic Banjo' !
  20. Excellent microship collection you have there 'J4ke', Star Fleet would be pleased. Brick On where no man has bricked before.
  21. That is one banana you'll need to split from ! Great work 'Batbrick', Brick On while singing the theme from The Banana Splits Show !
  22. Neat podracer 'Leo-J', black is perfect for it and clever use of the old school hammers there. Brick On Race On 'Leo-J' !
  23. AWESOME 'The_Customizer', now that you can totally call Sci-Fi ! Brick On fully loaded 'The_Customizer' !
  24. Fantastic design 'Izzy', the toilet is great.....a clean toilet brush ? Of course Ron is up to his usual tricks again. Brick On while casting spells 'Izzy' !
  25. Great work 'Lego Pinocchio', a good Lego-ised scene from Prisoner Of Azkaban. (thanks to my son for helping me pick the film you based your creation from) Brick On while casting spells 'Lego Pinocchio' !
