LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion
lightningtiger replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Licensed
Does anyone see the funny side of that game still shot, Superman looking down at Robin with hands on hips....looking very Robin-ish if you know what I mean ? I wonder if anymore DC characters apart from the Lantern will appear ? -
Great SNOT wings 'Bricknave', I can inspiration from SW and Buck Rogers in your shuttle plus a hint of Star Trek too ! Brick On Fly On 'Bricknave' !

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
lightningtiger replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Sadly not for me.... (I'm buying only Super Heroes and my old favourite...City for myself now days) On topic - the question is in that how much detail and what play features will be included....I guess Palpatine will have a double faced head....pre and post fight with Mace Windu ? -
LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors

I totally agree with you 'Masked Builder', that price means at TRU 169.95 AU again - every year it's the same now, well at least I know what my son's Christmas present is going to cost. -
General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
lightningtiger replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
Perhaps he only tells a half truth, the Black Pearl has been a HUGE seller (a particular Lego retailer I know are nearly sold out after buying over a pallet load of them ) so how could Lego say POTC sold well...only a handful of sets haven't set the world on fire.....but compared to Cars2.....POTC totally rocked. -
Tonya Raines and her boy friend Jason
lightningtiger replied to Lothos's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Right now, CC welcome eh ? Okay, bigger picture....plus more of them please so we can all see the detail to the truck.....looks interesting, but reserve my judgement when more images appear. -
MOC - 1950's Australian Suburban Street
lightningtiger replied to lightningtiger's topic in LEGO Town
Thanks 'eurotrash' and 'Brickbox' for your kind words, now if this becomes a Victorian themed layout (my heart bleeds...I'm South Australian ) the trams over there are and mostly been green so almost no option there I'm afraid. What's next....only to finish trimming the roads and street lights, the interior to the bank (2nd floor) and perhaps a few window dressing signs to the Coles Store. Of course the tram....after which I will decide if I extend the street....though if I do the short list of extra builds include Council Chambers, 4 Square grocery store, post office, butchers shop (that collectable minifig will come in handy eh ? )and boot maker/shoe repair shop. As you can see the layout is my second longest and if I continue with it.....the length will more that double ! Any suggestions or questions, please feel free to post them. Keep watching. -
AWESOME creation 'Schfio factory', which film is this particular Bruce Lee from ?

MOC - 1950's Australian Suburban Street
lightningtiger replied to lightningtiger's topic in LEGO Town
I have finally finished the trim on the milkbar and found my minifig to operate it too. I'll be working on the roadway today for this building to go with. Comments, etc., always welcome. Edit to explain.....The Sun was a popular newspaper in Melbourne (couldn't find a logo to do The News)...oops, great my tram is brown, white and tan....oh well I guess I could try and swap brown for green - what does everyone think ? Now the Marchants sign is for a brand of soft drink available back in the 50's. Edit - even though I still need some tiles for the gaps between the tram tracks among other things here is the street. Edit - again second street light fitted....only some black tiles (roadway) and white lever bases (insulators on the power pole) to complete the exterior work. -
LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
lightningtiger replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Interesting model....perhaps it might become my one and only UCS - all those tool features and the middle leg drop feature too.....excellent engineering Lego. But watching the video clip I can only think about one TV show......Big Bang Theory ! (I don't watch it....I actually dislike it ) -
Very nice 4x4 'solta', it actually reminds me not of a Hummer but of the new retro style landcruiser front ends. Brick On 4x4 On 'solta' !
-
There is a lot of points eh 'AJ' ? Excellent work, though how do you live in your living room and what does your partner think ? Keep up the great railway designing 'AJ' and Brick On !

MOC - 1950's Australian Suburban Street
lightningtiger replied to lightningtiger's topic in LEGO Town
Here we have the milkbar......I still have to make the street mounting for it. Edit to explain what you see....inside an old Peters ice cream poster hangs, a full rack of Vincent's headache powders and on the counter a merchandiser full of PK chewing gum. The lower 1x2 grille tiles will be change to metallic silver as soon as I find two of them. I must find a female minifig to go behind the counter.....oh, well that will be part of tomorrows work. Comments, suggestions and of course questions welcome. -
