Thanks 'Johan', 'Captain Heineken' and 'Farnheim' for your kind words, the tram is 40% complete and today sees the milkbar start construction.....truthfully the counter was built the other night....stickers get printed today as well. Keep watching for updates later today. -
Very nice layout 'Johan' , but it's a pity we can't see the wonderful corner frontage of the GE ? Are you considering a roadway to run in front of all the buildings.....8x16 tile pieces in black would do (that's what I'm using at the moment for my 1950's street). Brick On 'Johan' !

Heard an interesting story yesterday, that the Spiderman set was coming out along with the other Marvel sets in May....that came from a retailer I visited yesterday. Since no images yet, my gut still says August. And if there are any images of TDKR sets they would only appear a month or so before the movie is released...right ? -
I also wish to welcome you to EB 'Johan', wonderful interior....excellent furniture and tiled flooring, makes CC look 100% better on the inside. Brick On !

Thanks for the kind words 'Lorentzen' and the question/suggestion 'Izzy'.....good old photo sticker paper - 20 4x6 sheets for 14 bucks at Officeworks. Now those sheets you describe 'Izzy' I'll look into if it's cheaper. I have picked up supplies for the milkbar counter, but the tram roof parts are coming still. Any other suggestions...please feel free to post them. -
Nice mini there 'JackJonespaw' , though I agree with 'KimT'.....tech pins and bars....reason is a new kind of interlocking modulars or the oops factor ?
-
Very nice muscle cars 'wooootles', the white one is the coolest with it's bonnet scoop ! Great work and Brick On Race On 'wooootles' !

MOC - 1950's Australian Suburban Street
lightningtiger replied to lightningtiger's topic in LEGO Town
It's been a few days but I need some help now. I'm planning the milkbar to go along side the bank.....single or double storey ? Should I stick to a general Australian theme or make it state themed (i.e. Victorian, South Australian) ? I have designed signs and stickers for the milkbar and a few extra for the Coles Store. Update on the tram, it is a hybrid design on early 20th century trams/tram designs that were imported/adapted from the USA. Photos tomorrow. Any comments and suggestions.....I would be grateful for so I can spend my dollars wisely on parts. -
AWESOME starfighter 'Stefan' , it's my favourite of your collection so far...but I must ask, the long piece in the front is a common feature of many of your fighters......plasma cannon, laser cannon, scanner ? Keep them coming 'Stefan', Brick On Fly On !
