  1. We are ready discussing this in the City 2012 topic. I'll get a moderator to shift this topic.
  2. Thanks for the positive words 'LT12V', and now as I promised....an update. More to come ! Edit - found a shot of a Melbourne street scape with a Coles Store in it.
  3. The sticker on that green train is the same number sticker as the Maersk train. So the two trains featured might be prototypes only.
  4. By all appearances, there is only one pump, on the other side might be a red letterbox style rubbish bin and a lime green brush (how about a proper window squeege to clean windscreens, Lego ?). Interesting to see a black tile with printing on it....one can assume it's a sticker. Edit - oop's my bad, that lime green is on the old coach bus....hard to see blowing the picture up so much. Anyway, it's a bit like this pump arrangement from a long time ago......
  5. Sweet copter 'EM4CZ', keep them coming ! LDD On !
  6. I found it ! The petrol pumps are at the back of the complex....odd, wash your car then fuel it up ? I was right.....an automatic tankstation.
  7. AWESOME piece of repair wagon engineering there 'Steinkopf'....perfectly detailed and to scale - Brick On !
  8. Thanks 'BrickBox' for your kind words, yes, a tram is planned....straight after the next two buildings, I'll have fun choosing it though ! Keep watching....updating later today. (hopefully )
  9. No, that came in the Police Chase set from last year. I'm wondering if the petrol station part will be an automated tankstation or one with a small customer service box between two pumps...would make sense seeing how the signs for the complex are positioned, thoughts anyone ?
  10. I've worked something out, the petrol pumps are missing from the layout.....the sign points the same way for the car wash, but it's only a car wash and remembering my old toy parking garages of my childhood days, the pumps/bowsers were out front of the car park. Plus I feel something else is missing....the pay point for the car wash....it's not complete ! We need to scan over all the available images to see if another Octan structure pops up.
  11. It's more like an iPlasma 'RunnersDad' ! I agree 'Alexgri', you need a smaller screen for sure.....nice try anyway and Brick On with your iBrick !
  12. Yes, an old fashion power pole and yes when my street is longer I will be using Lego string to strung the power poles. Thanks 'SwissBrick' for your comments.
  13. Great looking store 'gotoAndLego', except where's the front door.....do they stay open 24-7 or is your city free of crime ? I look forward to seeing the interior.....Brick On with your iBrick 'gotoAndLego' !
  14. Excellent designing there 'DrNightmare', the fusion of SW speeder and Buck Roger's starfighter is AWESOME ! Brick On Fight On 'DrNightmare' !
  15. Thanks for the comment 'eurotrash', except it's going to be a Coles.....a Woolworths would require a truck-load of the new dark curry colour brick-brick's from the new forest police station.
  16. Oh, these are just fantastic, highly imaginative and I'm just a little worried by the copter...wind-swept hair etc., ? Yes, keep them coming 'LegoMyMamma' and Brick On with your Friend's !
  17. Good spotting their 'andythenorth' and what about the white subway style train above the hospital eh ? So Lego trains are going to be a surprise every year now ?
  18. Thanks 'solta', I could have the stickers at least on the large white section tomorrow, perhaps also on the red awning too !
  19. Who cares.....I want that service tower.....pity it's not a truck stop/road house one, but any harbour in a storm I say ! A lift like I had on those cheap plastic car parks from the 1970's, a little tow truck with workshop, a security guard office....but where are the petrol bowsers/pumps...the sign said car wash/workshop/fuel ? Oh, yeah don't forget the minivan in the lift ! OMG ! quick edit - Look at the wheels on both the car and van that come with that car park....NOT your standard Lego chunky tyre wheels.
  20. Thanks 'AJ' and 'MadManMingo' for your positive feedback. Now the unsigned building is what they call in the USA a five and dime store, in Oz they were either a Coles or Woolworths (no, not F.W. neither). I've dug up an image to show you what a Coles store looked like in the 1950's. Sadly due to copyright issues....I can only provide a link....Coles Store Northam WA 1953 Though that is a corner building you can get some idea what is happening. Keep watching....hopefully more tomorrow.
  21. Some of you have already seen my 1950's hardware store, now 50's street expands....hard work so far, now a tease image. A bank and milk bar will follow and perhaps a garage as well....we will see how the money flows...so far it's cost over 100 bucks on the new building....stickers, interior and tiling to come over the next week. Comments welcome, suggestions too. Keep watching !
  22. Excellent bus 'bricksboy', but that bike carrier needs work...using bars and droid arms together would work out better.....like the bike might fall out of your current bike carrier. In any case it's still a great design......Brick On 'bricksboy' !
  23. It's 21 Jump Street ! Excellent police car, fantastic custom Friend's minidoll....quite arresting eh ? Great work 'ER0L' and Brick On with your Friend's !
  24. Great little train 'Hikaro Takayama'. Any more planned ? Brick On !
  25. That little white structure next to the yellow one is the bus stop from the TRU exclusive Public Transport set....the yellow one - I say made for the display. At least the hospital looks much better than the last one !
