IMPRESSIVE is the word I choose to describe your creation 'SeanM', a structure of beauty and excellent redesigning - you got all the special interior design elements including the light fixture in it as well - huge for this one for sure. Brick On 'SeanM' !

MOC - 1950's Australian Suburban Street
lightningtiger replied to lightningtiger's topic in LEGO Town
It took two hours to design a period bench seat for in front of the bank. Some fresh angles of the whole street. Hans the mechanic is chatting to David the hardware store owner.....he's still ticked off with the old pilot shopping elsewhere. Frontal view of most of the structures. More to come....comments welcome. -
Great looking racing car 'Peppermint', clean lines indeed.....looks a little like Racer X eh ? Brick On Race On......Power Ranger !

AWESOME engineering job there ' TheKingOfBuilding ' ! Though the car wash is my only issue, drive in and dead end ? Only if the rollers moved to and fro and there was a roof of some kind too. The petrol bowsers are nice, overall it's a great solid build with the lift being the centre piece.....Brick On ' TheKingOfBuilding ' !

MOC - 1950's Australian Suburban Street
lightningtiger replied to lightningtiger's topic in LEGO Town
Thanks 'marvinblue' , pity my password doesn't work on ANZFOL any more I would post this street there as well. Hopefully tomorrow I will take my son out to the tramway museum at St. Kilda to spy on some trams. Plus I agree the town plan Octan would fit, but it needs to changed to an ESSO to keep the realism.....but one garage is enough for the moment. -

Thanks 'LT12V', I only decided on the grey brick work yesterday when I thought a two storey bank was needed in my street scape. Ground floor interior almost finished, any ideas for upstairs ? -

MOC - 1950's Australian Suburban Street
lightningtiger replied to lightningtiger's topic in LEGO Town
Thanks for the positive feedback 'Oran', 'Ash' and 'AJ', plus a double thanks to 'AJ' for the tram suggestions.....I'm looking at a H1 series tram which was sliver with a dark red strip along the bodywork of the tram or a smaller Birney tram which were run in Adelaide and Bendigo. Keep those suggestions and ideas coming.....any ideas for what can go behind the teller counter ? Edit - I'm actually working on the rolling chassis for the tram....harder to do than the 501 diesel I made last year. -
MOC - 1950's Australian Suburban Street
lightningtiger replied to lightningtiger's topic in LEGO Town
Thanks 'MadManMingo' , I've used different bank building designs from the 1950's and even earlier to come up with this creation. The stickers just give and name/i.d. to this building, in a few days I'll have the road/tramway in front of it done (money issues at the moment) plus the interior downstairs.....upstairs I'm not sure about yet(could be left empty, or as a storeroom or even an office being repainted/rebuild by a builder). Any suggestions feel free to post them.
