Well, we all know how much Lego loves bringing out blacksmith workshops in the historic arena ? But remember a few years back, a city truck we thought would be a breakdown truck ended up being a lighting repair truck.

Good question.....I'll check later this morning when I get home. The one thing I noticed with this is the sign out the front of it points in different directions meaning you would just have to be creative and build similar style buildings as wards, operating rooms, etc., and I guess that is the reason behind the plates being used instead of the standard base plates. After building it, my mind was changed a little to the positive on this set....worth buying and worth expanding.

AWESOME engine 'LT12V' , I have a friend who is also working on a Big Boy design himself.....the same one who built the 520 I showed off for him at Railshow 2011. The question is how it goes round curves ? Brick On 'LT12V' !

Thanks for your comments 'michael', I'm planning for things to go outside both the Mitre 10 and IGA stores once I have this 48x48 street section completed. I have to install a fence between the road and rail line.....not want any accidents do we ? More later today.....as usual...keep watching !

I'll look into it, country pubs have their bars running parallel to the front wall though....unless I make it deeper at one side as a one off. Space is an issue for train shows, etc.,. After finishing the rebuilds I'll look into a pub.....with beer.

Built the garage last night, totally AWESOME and the play features take me back to when I was a kid ! A very solid build, good idea to use 1x3 tiles as locking pieces between the floors....though I do still miss not having a jack to help the mechanic change tyres ! I highly recommend buying this set....of course I was lucky paying only 64.50 for it - marked down because the box was damaged ! Brick On !
