LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
lightningtiger replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Those blasters are totally made for 7-10 year old's, I guess a neat play feature but to displaying figures in MOC's or battle scenes for displays.....the blasters we have come to love are the better ones. -
Sets for two TV series from one brand that being Marvel.....bold for Lego to do. Is it just me or the AA sets are a little better than the Spiderman ones ? Reading wikipedia about Avengers Assemble, it revolves around the evil doings of Red Skull and with appearances anyway by Spiderman......cross-over or merging of series maybe and hence a merging of subthemes ?

Winter Village: Three stands and the Christmas tree.

Yes, very nice indeed 'Razor'.....I like the idea of four 8x8's to make up the 16x16 limit ! Nice Christmas tree too......good luck and Brick On 'Razor' ! -

LEGO® CUUSOO 空想 - Turn your model wishes into reality
lightningtiger replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Okay, now how do you tick off the tiger.......email him that two of his projects will get the axe - one if I don't change it to a single building and the other.....forget about it....I won't get the flaming chance to change it to a single building project. Not happy this morning ! The funny thing is I allowed as much time as I like to change my "city corner style buildings" to a single one as long as I do it before 1K......I'm not even at 100 yet ! My gut is telling me.....why do I even try on Cuusoo or why did I ever at all ? -
Thanks 'gazumpty' and 'Trevor_F' for your kind words.......well, 'Trevor_F' once this is finished it will be beyond UCS brick count....so a set would be beyond huge ! 'gazumpty's suggestion of a toy shop.....not really, I base all my buildings on similar ones from a small town.....usually populations under 1000.....not enough to support a toy store.....though if I build a newsagent.....they can include a Toyworld....be that a small one. Now if a newsagent is included that could lift the building count to 10 or more structures in a row ! Anyway, keep watching.......oh, yeah....keep suggesting too !

Excellent small rescue vehicle 'jfbat'......my only suggestion would be to replace the dark bluey grey parts on the sides of the truck with white.....might flow a little better, but that's just the tiger's opinion ? Brick On 'jfbat' !

LEGO® CUUSOO 空想 - Turn your model wishes into reality
lightningtiger replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Oh, yes and that we are all wasting our time ! The time, effort and worst......money, which I can't afford to waste ! I agree with the one set rule, which I thought was made very clear at the start plus the use of only currently available Lego parts....so new parts can be asked to be made. It's the logo crap is the most ticking me off, that means no sporting teams, TV series, film, stores or vehicle brands......why then should we even try ? That means the Apple store modular project won't get a green light when it hits 10K or any thing else similar even if it has the support.......and support means possible sales....in turn means money which pays the bills and more set development ! Maybe the Cuusoo team find it too hard or have bitten off more than they can chew ? -
Thanks 'timmy', I chose that entrance design because of cash flow problems again......no new parts - can't afford them this week. My wife cheered me up tonight with a surprise early Christmas present.....a ticket to see Brian Cadd and Glenn Shorrock tomorrow night so I'll be online tomorrow but maybe not tomorrow night ! Now I'n finalising my garage design......though I'm still having trouble working on the art deco angle on it......keep watching !

Neat little Christmas vig 'PaulB'.......Brick On in Advent !

Thanks 'Overcold', though drapery shops sold haberdashery as well plus I do have hats are on the top shelf in the LOWES. Thanks 'Oran', keep watching.......after the old car dealer garage, then a new old hardware store, grocery/supermarket, bank, hotel, chemist/drug store and maybe a bakery/cafe.....I'm going to be busy eh ?
-
Thanks 'dhc6twinotter', I'm planning on building an old car dealer/garage based around designs from the 1930's through to the early 50's......mmm, might get a start on it today....keep watching !
