I feel the need to post here again, just to gush over my Razcal minifigure. He really, really rocks. I've always written some very positive things about LoC minifigs, but now I have one my words hold a much greater value. I think Chima minifigs are gorgeous and that LEGO truly outdid themselves with them. The attention to detail and the sheer amount of personality they show is just amazing.

I finally got my first taste of Chima today, Razcal’s Glider (wasn't there a "Raven" in the middle?). And I love it! I mainly bought it for Razcal (great fig), but the Glider is so much cooler than I thought. Really looks like a proper raven, and kinda looks cute too. Definitely getting Eris's Interceptor now!

Until now, I didn't even realize Surge was using a MTIS on his back (since nearly everyone on the show uses MTIS as back armour). The MTIS goes really well with the Brain Attack torso. It looks like they're one thing, as the small "wings" on the MTIS fill out the empty shoulders/neck area.

Jet Rocka is really growing on me, the red axles and blue pins are annoying as ever but the Jet looks much sleeker now for some reason. Stormer is using a silver MTIS on his back, I was fearing he would've been bare-backed like, say Breakout Furno. Still very cool set. Surge is sexy as usual, though I go feel the dark bley, yellow and tr. blue should go away. A good set with too many colours- like..Breakout Furno. I'm really liking Frost Beast, he looks a lot more appealing than Pyrox. Its torso look creative, but the shoulder area looks unfinished. Dragon Bolt uses a XT4 torso for its neck. Clever! The printed visors are oh-so-stylish. Each one has its unique look! Looking at Aquagon again, looks like the new head is indeed tr. blue and not Stormer's eye colour. Seems like we'll have to wait till 2014 for a tr. orange new head.

Oh, it makes sense now. Thanks. So the episode ends with the workers finding te Brains in the cave? The bad guy is pretty much Black Phantom with different horns..weird.

Shakar It seems it ends with Rocka getting confronted by Dragon Bolt. There's no Jet Rocka fight scene, so there must be a sequel of some sort. The mastermind has BP's helmet, but his horns are like Fire Lord's...wtf? Nevermind, I messed up the pics order..the story seems to make sense. It's very much a "side quest", like the Bohrok arc. Not that it wasn't clear before. The brains at the end are very weird though..

Ha ha, I knew it! The axle hole on the visor is there so you can stick a Brain on a Hero. Doesn't look like it has a proper ending though, is it part 1?

That's a good enough answer. It's just that you always seem to know a lot of stuff about inner workings people rarely know about. I just want an unprinted titanium metallic Breakout torso (and a silver one, but that's another matter entirely). Hopefully we'll see it in the future- so that's one more part to add to my wishlist.

I don't know if there are other methods, but taking away the printing ruins the piece to me. I want a smooth, clean surface.Whoops, I thought Eris's and Razar's chest were tr. blue and dark lilac respectively, but now I see they're in pre-existing colours...oh well, no problem then. I hope Gorzan uses stickers however. Indeed, PaB is supposed to be a support service so it works as you said. They're selling unprinted Breakout torsos only in certain colours (gold, lime, blue and titanium metallic are still missing) - is the reason for this in any way related to what you explained?

Ever since Breakout, when it comes to Rocka, I feel white was put aside in favor of tr. bright green. Breakout Rocka only had some white in his chest, while both forms of BA Rocka have no white at all (of course, I'm not counting the Core). So, the white was somewhat surprising, if only because the TV show made the "jet" look like it was silver or titanium metallic. I'm still not sure if I'll buy Jet Rocka. I have a MOC idea that mixes concepts from Winter!Rocka (whom I own) and Jet Rocka..but doesn't require me to buy the set itself (just some of its pieces). Plus, 30 Euro (?) is quite a bit, and there are other things I could spend that money on (PaB, LoC, other themes, non-Lego stuff....). Oh, I can't believe I forgot the purpleness. One time I post something without editing it half a second later...

I doubt they'd produce PaB exclusive recolours, but it looks like unprinted PaB exclusives are very much possible. Surge's tr. neon green visor is exclusive to him, but it's printed so I hope they add an unprinted version next year. The LoC sets are including some cool recolours that are "ruined" by the printing details.

I realized PaB isn't selling any exclusive pieces that came with the Super Heroes Ultrabuilds. I got all the six sets except Batman and Green Lantern, but I could always use more of the gold pieces from Iron Man (actually, they'd be really useful for a MOC I'm working on). So, those definitely those. I hope they'll include the LoC large figures pieces, too.

I think the printed chests suit the characters, but I'd like if they showed up unprinted on PaB in the future. I mean, look at the new colours: gold (Laval), tr. blue (Eris), dark lilac (Razar). Just..wow. (Edit: whoops, Laval's is titanium metallic) Given what they did with Stormer XL, I hope Gorzan uses stickers. Though I still don't know what I could do with a gold giant chest (a titanium metallic one would've been way more useful, but they want all good guys to wear gold armour, unlike the minifigs ).

They're sure investing a lot in transforming vehicles this year, between Galaxy Squad and now LoC. Eglor's bike is almost a 100% buy. I guess it's a 20 Euro set. Worriz's Combat Lair is out of my budget and I'm not a big fan of the Wolves, but I admit it looks very cool.

Wow, how come I didn't notice it? Aquagon uses tr. blue, but Evo uses the same colour as Stormer's visor. It's not so tragic though, Laval uses bigger tr. blue shells (5M I guess), so we're still getting tr. blue shells in two sizes.

Most definitely. Cool colours, especially blue, have been sadly underused in HF for the longest time; it's good to see this year uses greens and blues so often. I can't believe we're getting tr. blue cladding in two different shades!I'm disappointed Surge doesn't use tr. yellow, however. Tr. neon green just doesn't work as well to me.. I think it's because Evo is less expensive. Printing makes the piece price jump quite a bit. Think of the PaB Breakout torso shells: the printed ones were a whopping 2.17 Euro, the unprinted ones they're selling now cost only 0.75 Euro.The Heroes with printed Heroes visors cost 13 Euro or above, the ones with unprinted visors are 9 Euro sets. That being said, I would have liked if Jet Rocka had used a printed visor. EDIT: Just noticed I had wrote Heroes intead of visors....

My problem with Eris isn't that she doesn't look feminine: that can be improved with some mods like with Breakout Breez (at least Eris uses the narrow torso!). Even if the set was called Equila, I'd still call it bad, because that head looks nowhere as sleek as the Eagle helmet. Look at Razar: his head is NEARLY IDENTICAL to the minifig's. Next time make Eglor, ok Lego? My life needs dark blue cladding. I'm surprised at how good the wings look. I was excepting some one piece stuff, or some half finished design: not because I think low of the designers, but due to the ever-present part count limit. But they look good, big, and non skeletal. Now that I finished my rant about birds and wings, my favourite part of these sets are the weapons (and their transparent goodness!). As I wrote in an earlier post, I really like Eris’s axe, but there’s also Gorzan with the BP mace halves in TWO new colours, Worriz with a tr. red* Rocka sword, and Razar reuses Eris’s axe halves as scythe-like weapons (clever!). *I know it looks like dark red, but Rocka’s sword is made of that translucent plastic, so I think it is supposed to be transparent red (which is surprisingly dark on its own). Same goes for Cragger’s blades. And if you look closely, the blades look slightly lighter than Worriz’s dark red shells. Why should energy-powered weapons be solid coloured, anyway?

The others actually look good, and have great pieces. Razar looks cooler than most HF villains this year. There, I said it.

Well, that must be it. I don't care for Speedorz, but they're basically getting the same treatment action figures (HF, Ultrabuilds, etc..) get during Toy Fair.

Darker blue? You must mean lighter. Before that Brickset article, we didn't even know Stormer had a different blue than Evo's. I don't have time to link to them, but you know how it works. Dragon Bolt is FANTASTIC, I'm iffy on the wings however. Its slug has a weird colour- glow in the dark? Jet Rocka is a mess.. Frost Beast has puny arms, but he's taller than Pyrox at least. Surge and Stormer have printed visors. And it looks like I was wrong about Stormer, his shells are Transparent Light Blue (my very first guess). Surge doesn't seem to have tr. yellow. Whyyyy These look very finalized. Since Frost Beast has that blade, I guess that confirms the Chima figures are final.

I was looking at the Jet Rocka pic that came out a few days ago on my mobile, and I noticed some things about Stormer and Frost Beast. Zoom FTW! I cut the image, magnified it and altered the colouring a bit (mainly making the colours more noticeable). Of course, Stormer takes a large part of the picture, covering most of Frost Beast, so not much to say about it really. On Stormer, you can notice the recoloured Pyrox flame on Stormer's left arm, it looks white and azure- I would have liked a transparent recolour more, but maybe this is a preliminary version (the silver sword seems like a big clue). The most interesting thing, however, is another one IMO. Look closely at Stormer's flick missiles: they're Transparent Light Blue (Chima crystals, Ehrye's and Toa Nuju's eyes..you know by now), which is the colour I had theorized to be Stormer's visor/shells colour. But you can notice his visor clearly is in another colour, same goes for his shells: Transparent Fluorescent Blue (Stormer's eye colour).

I'm not sure on how many sets I'll get, but I do love the bad guys. They're..generic (black and red, etc..), but that's their charm: I could use a few of them for my evil army. We finally got a black wizard, and he looks excellent. Just saw Aanchir's pics. THAT Black horse with new barding!

I wonder what alignment the new tribes are going to take? So far we have 3 good tribes and 3 evil ones.. I can definitely see the Foxes as heroic tricksters, but Furty's eyes look kinda malicious.. On the other hand, Skinnet has such a dopey look I could hardly take him seriously as a bad guy. The Bears and the Rhinos could go either way.

Is Wilhurt (black wolf) wielding a new tr. red weapon against that white gorilla? The fox and the Skinnet are so cute! The foxes might become my favourite mammal tribe (the birds are still my favourite tribes). I noticed a white wolf and a white gorilla, I really like how they're varying the characters colours, even between members of the same tribe. I wonder if they could make an albino raven? They do exist, you know. Or something like this, that would look wicked!

Aquagon looks quite lovely, definitely better than Scarox as far as 9 Euro sets go. And lots of tr. blue goodness! We already knew about 4M shells, but we're getting 3M shells too. Breakout Stringer could use them... The recoloured Rocka blades look awesome. Is the head in the same colour as Stormer's eyes, though? It seems to me it matches the shells colour, actually. Evo is kind of bland, I agree, though I find the staff fairly clever (looks like it spins like in the show, too). His head is tr. neon green like Furno's- is it to provide a better contrast? Breez's and Rocka's heads were tr. bright green just like their visors, and it worked, so..I don't know.
