I don't think that would be the same as introducing a new castle theme After what happened with Nexo Knights, I don't LEGO would want to take any risks with the next castle theme. And there will be a lot going on next year. Releasing a new castle theme in 2019 would like throwing it under the bus

What a day to be alive..... AMAZING

The main events of the movie will take place 5 years after, so I think it's unlikely. That scene will probably appear as a flashback or a short sequence at the beginning but that's it. For instance, from the opening scene from The LEGO Movie we got Vitruvius as a promo minifigure. Not a set. So I expect this to be the same. Maybe a little set but that's it. I guess the first wave will be mostly the mad-max sets, as these scenes happen at the beginning. Also, the Sweet Mayhem Spaceship. And maybe Emmet's space-hosue The second wave will be mostly sets from the Sistar System, since they would be the most spoilery sets But if the Duplo creatures still live somewhere in the Sistar System, then they could appear in the second or thrid wave

I think Harry Potter can replace a Castle line like Fantasy Era But it can't reaplace a Castle theme like Kingdoms So, IMO, a castle theme like Kingdoms can happen simultaneously with Harry Potter But that's not the point. The thing is that I think next year is already full. But of course I know nothing. Time will tell

Isn't next year already too crowded for a Castle theme? We will have the new Overwatch theme, and The LEGO Movie 2 theme, which are both "new" lines. + Harry Potter is rumored to be a new "evergreen" theme so it has to return next year (at least at the end). Also, Star Wars IX and Infinity Wars 4 coming out next year, both of them will get "brand new" waves. And add the current themes like City, Ninjago, DC Superheroes, Unikitty, Collectible Minifigures, Creator, Minecraft, Friends, Elves, etc I just don't see it happening. Doesn't sound like the right year for a new castle theme

I wonder if there wiil be Duplo figures in the movie/sets Maybe they live abandoned somewhere in the Sistar System, because the sister moved on to play with Minidolls instead.

I expect the CMF series to be revealed earlier than that. If the release date is August 1st, then we should expect WF's review a month before. So, the reveal sould happen in a couple of weeks I think

Written? If anything, we could see a minifigure in the background in a group scene. And all the licensed cameos in The LEGO Movie (Dumbledore, Milhouse, Gandalf, Superman, NBA stars, etc....) were minifigure already released by LEGO If Doctor Who happens to appear in the movie, which I doubt, would be a minifigure already released by LEGO. There are 2 I think, but I have no idea who they are.

It doesn't look like TLM2 will have a lot of pieces for castle fans. Maybe the neck armors but that depends on how many of those minifigures in the trailer are actually released

Lupin looks great. But I hope there will be a full werewolf minifigure somewhere. About Ollivander, I think he will be in the CMF.

After that lackluster box office Ninjago Movie had, I wouldn't be surprised if they dont appear at all. I guess LEGO just wishes everyone will forget that ever happened. So, if any Ninjago movie character appears, would be like a 0.000001 s cameo If The LEGO MOVIE 2 doesn't do as least as well as the Batman Movie, I don't see the LEGO cinematic universe going any further after this

Finally a release date! The reveal should happen at any time now

Let's remember that someone is playing with these minifigures So maybe the movies don't have to follow a chronological order. Sometimes Finn is playing with Batman, Emmet, Lucy, etc. And Sometimes he is playing in the Gotham City diorama with Batman, Robin, etc But I expect some of the Batman Movie characters to have a cameo. Like Alfred, Joker and Robin at least. About Ninjago, is unlikely, because he do know for a fact that these are not Finn's. They belong to another collector

It seems there are 2 solo Joker movies in the works One with Jared Leto and another with Joaquin Phoenix From my understanding, the Joaquin Phoenix one is an "origins" movie. So, it will be a prequel to the the Jared Leto one Like WTF is going with WB? How do they make these decisions??

I don't Finn is playing with his LEGO sets anymore If he is older and more mature, it wouldn't make sense that Emmet is still a goofy/silly/innocent character I think Finn's sister is playing with them all now

It seems 2019 will be quite a year for Sci Fi after all The minidoll spaceship looks AMAZING. I'm guessing that will be the first set to be revealed later this year during the SDCC Also, Mad Max post-apocalyptic sets and -likely- another classic space set for Benny, since the first one was a hit That's 3 different styles of SciFi sets (And Star Wars episode IX stuff at the end of the year)

It's like those LEGO minifigures have seen things they will never talk about again It looks sick! I LOVE the post-apocalyptic vs the space one. And god Unikitty is more like UniTigress now. It looks she evolved like a Pokemon I think that came too late for a "test" At the time those came out, the movie was already finished and the sets were already in production. Chris Pratt said he recorded his lines for this more than a year ago.

I'm guessing the CMF line will be post-apocalyptic versions of already released CMFs like the S11 Welder and Larry the Barista!
