  1. I don't know if this is funny or sad but TLM2 completely ignored Ninjago. It's like poison now
  2. My guesses for upcoming sets: SPOILERS FROM THE MOVIE
  3. The time travel never happened: It's a metaphor The Emmet/Rex fight represents Finn's inner conflict. He is becoming an adult and Rex is his vision of what adulthood is. He thinks that's the man he has to become: a tough, rude, etc.... because that's how men are portrayed on media: that's why Rex mentions a bunch of tropes of manly men (represented by Chris Pratt's roles). The time travel represents future Finn (Rex) coming back to the present to force present Finn (Emmet) to grow up. You can feel the pressure on Emmet right from the beggining of the film with the "toughen up" thing. There is even a nod to the Dark Ages, when Rex tells Emmet is time to stop playing with toys and move on. That's why he doesn't want to play to with his sister, even when she constantly tries to play with him. The struggle reaches its peak when Rex actually tries to take the Emmet minfigure apart. During the film, Finn realises that becoming a man doesn't mean he has to stop being sweet and kind and he can play with his sister whenever he can and also that becoming an adult means that everything won't be awesome all the time, but you can make things awesome again by keeping your child-self alive in your heart (Emmet). And that's why Lucy says at the end that she doesn't like tough Emmet, because Finn is forcing himself to be something he is not. At the end, Finn accepts he is an "Emmet" kind of guy and there is nothing wrong with that. So, he isn't looking forward to becoming a Rex anymore. That idea goes away from his head and that's why Rex vanishes at the end. Unikitty also plays into the metaphor: when Finn was a child, Unikity was pink and girly, but now he rejects that idea so she became red and warrior-like. It's only when the sister takes her, that Unikitty returns to her former version.
  4. Love most of the song but honestly Metalbeard, Batman, Benny and Unikitty parts ruined it for me. I hate when songs are interrupted with dialogs and some of these interruptions aren't even good. You can tell Charlie Day struggled to keep his Benny voice while singing. It could have done only with the queen singing while interacting with the other characters. Other than that I it's excellent. Second best after the credits song. The soundtrack of this film is outstanding
  5. I know I already said but this just wont happen. Its too risky. It could be even worse than The Ninjago Movie at the box office. The Batman Movie 2 is a saffer bet because of the Batman franchise. The best the can do at this point is take the fresh/innovative ideas the had for the movie and work them into TLM3, if it ever happens
  6. They didnt give up after Ninjago movie because TLM2 was already on the works. Nothing else has been officially gree-lighted after TLM2. It wouldnt be the first time a sequel is cancelled even having the script already written. So, Id say TLBM2 is indeed in danger. But I think we are getting ahead of ourselves. Next weekend is St Valentine Day and all the releases are St Valentine themed movies. So, LEGO MOVIE 2 is pretty much alone for the kids/family market. The next blockbuster to hit theaters will be Captain Marvel. So TLM2 still has a month left to work themselves up to the top. But it will depend on word of mouth at this point.
  7. This is the spoiler thread I think you can post without using them
  8. That depends on the second wave release date. I'd say late March
  9. Yeah, this bad. According to Variety, the box office will be around $20M lower than expected. https://variety.com/2019/film/box-office/lego-movie-2-box-office-what-women-want-cold-pursuit-the-prodigy-1203134106/#article-comments I HOPE this will be like Venom: poor opening box office but got better with time thanks to word of mouth It seems Warner B really messed up this franchise with such a poor release schedule in 2017 ( and Ninjago Movie itself)
  10. I just watched it. Unpopular opinion here: I liked this one bettet than TLM1. (I mean TLM1 was a better movie, but I just happen to like the sequel more).
  11. I think Series 20 Series 21 Wizarding World S2 We kind of clear of LEGO movies for the upcoming months. So there is more room for regular series again
  12. I have a question for those who have seen the movie Is there potential for another CMF series?
  13. It worries me to see they developed the idea of the Dangervest team that much and then dropped it. Seems like a last minute change and it reminds me of the Ninjago movie...
  14. Well, pretty much all the characters should be black then given the final scene of Infinity Wars. Even Spiderman himself
  15. This poll was never fixed, right?
  16. First box office numbers will be out in a couple of days The future of the LCU depends on this
  17. Oh god That's great news
  18. Don't worry. Pilgrim Woman will appear very soon. The other 2 will appear at some point Thank you @Nerd-with-a-Pencil I was wondering what happened with the CMF series you were going to post? Is it still happening?
  19. The translation might be weird, but that list comes from the Nuremberg Toy Fair.... In the video, they explain they create those builds for the live-action section of the movie A lot of builds were created just for that in TLM. Like Larry the Barista's plane. It was never released as a set but you can see it in the live action scene
