What a meh wave for one of the most anticipated movies of all time I cant believe they couldnt afford a more accurate hairpiece for Captain Marvel. Captain America's bike is just plain awful. And the hall of armor has a limited appeal The Quinjet is the best one of the line

I think a Weeding Cake set is unlikely.... Maybe something like a Ceremonial Ceremony "battle pack" with some of the characters featured in that scene? We know for a fact Ruth Bader Ginsburg is being released as a LEGO minifigure, so there has to be at least one set based on the Ceremonial Ceremony

So according to RT, The LEGO Movie 2 needed 300M to break even Like what the actual heck?! That's got to be wrong, right? Because if WB was really expecting 300M, then this franchise is deader than dead. I thought it needed aprox. 198M to break even The movie is currently at 152M and Captain Marvel is coming this week..........

Yeah, but the release date is May 1st, so the official reveal should be around April 1st I guess Also, the current series is TLM2 one. I think they will try to capatalize on the "hype" of the movie as much as posible. So I wouldnt expect any teaser anytime soon

Im so happy Spiderman got the Oscar! Totally deserved it. But that means the film is going back to theaters, which is bad for TLM2.... Other than that, a really nice ceremony with the biggest surprise being how well it went without a host (followed by Gleen Close not winning).

I was thinking about it. There is for sure a Minnie in the CMF line. It could be the black and white one. But Mickey would be missing his hat if he comes alone in the Ideas set. But the thing is: the Ideas set was just approved and the CMFs are said to be designed a year in advance, which would be spring 2018. By then, the Ideas project was still gathering support. So they couldnt have known. But if so, it would be like the first time ever they team up with an Ideas sets like this. They released the Ghostbusters HQ to go with the car, but that was a lot after the Ideas set came out. In this case would be almost a simultaneous release

It's a rough rule, but it said that to break even a movie needs to approximately double the budget. Because that budget is just production budget. Marketing and Advertising are not included here and in some cases (not this one) are more expensive than the actual production of the movie. Also, theaters of course take a part of the box office So, with a production budget of 99M, TLM2 needs around 198M to break even

Is the hat a new mold? I cant find the pic. Considering the Ideas sets dont introduce new molds, that would confirm another Minnie version in the second CMF series, and they will reuse the hat for the Ideas set.

They totally saw this coming. The early scrennings were clearly done to create hype via word of mouth, but it didn't work. At some point Chris Pratt was pretty much begging on IG for people to go watch the movie.

TLM2 had a 52% drop this weekend and the current box office is $136,619,039. At this point is pretty clear the film won't break even, which means WB will lose money to it
