Hmm I see... Disney's version is more adult. I tried to make the "Rabbit Follower" based on the original book illustrations and with more details than the Disney one I really hope that the fact that the charactee appeared in a Disney series wont prevent it to appear in a regular one. And yes I'm excited to get the series. Not as much as before because the series feels rather weak for me, but I'll get at least one of each. And it would have been easy to give an animal accesory. Like a Pirate Woman with a monkey or parrot or an Islander woman with recolor of the Nagini mold or any other exotic animal

Except that this series had some characters that had already appeared on sets: Ninja, Cowboy, Tribal Hunter, Spaceman, Diver, Forestman and Nurse (Also Robot but the design here was quite different) That's almost half of the series. I think Series 3 and Series 4 is when LEGO really started to explore into more innovative characters. For instance in Series 5 only character had already appeared on sets before: the Dwarf

Thanks for your enthusiasm. I didn't chop any minifigure. Just some gender swaps and rearrangements About S19. Well the thing is... I feel it's not fair to make comparisons because I don't have like a budget to stick to, and the CMF team do. Also, I'm not restricted in any way in terms of what I give to each character, and the CMF team do. They have said some of the designs they propose are rejected by the engineers Etc, etc, etc...

I think the problem is that City minifigures are now so detailed and specialized that these look "normal" now. 5 or 6 of these could be on any City set or people pack

Im sad to see the reaction to this series on social media is very mixed. And Im sadder to say that I myself Im not as excited as I want to be. Something feels off here for me. Some of these characters are just like random City minifigures. I'll wait until the final pics are out to make a judgment but I think this series will be in the lower half of the CMF rank

Well the final reveal of the Biker and Firefighter will force me to change some stuff on Series P and Series Q but yeah it will be posted next week. Yay!
