I watched Batman: Hush. I feel like the plot was like 5-minutes long and the rest was just everyone fighting against each other. I prefer more story-driven movies. I liked the twist that Hush was actually a well-known Batman villain, but I didn't like who he was. It felt out character for him. It reminds me of the Jugde episode, who turned out to be another personality of Two-Face. Some of the Joker lines were very reminiscent of the LEGO Batman Movie. Especially during the Clayface fight I remember how in Batman and Robin (1997) the whole point of having Batgirl was because Poison Ivy's pheromones didn't work on women. Look at us now hahaha The Damian scene was little bit too much The Catwoman/Batman thing was very Mask of the Phantasm-esque, with Batman's moral code getting in the way and everything. I dont understand how this storyline was supposed to be happening simultaneously with the Suicide Squad one, because Harley and Joker were out of prison. I doesn't make sense And Im tired to see Nightwing being a complete IDIOT. They already did this to him in that lame Harley Quinn movie from a couple of years ago. He is not THAT stupid.

Why is LEGO so obsessed with Batman?
Robert8 replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Because money. Because he sells. If they changed the DC Superheroes branding to just Batman is because only Batman-centric sets sell well. Batman is the most popular superhero worldwide. Even more than Superman I'd say. He gets theatrical movies, toons of videogames, novels, a LEGO movie (and it did quite well), comic books (with some of the most iconic storylines), direct-to-video films, even his villains get solo movies (Joker, Catwoman and Harley Quinn next year), animated TV shows, live-action TV shows, his sidekicks are pretty popular and get solo-material as well (Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl, Batwoman). Heck, even the City he lives on got its own TV show and it lasted 5 seasons. Trust me, you'll never see something like that with any Marvel character. -
It would be like display on a store. So the gingerbread people could be like part of the display with random people walking around

DC Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
Robert8 replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
I know Zatanna because she was in Batman the Animated Series But not the rest of those and I know some DC characters because I watch the animated films like the Hush movie or the Jack the Ripper one. My point was: I dont think you should expect a full wave of super rare characters because the series will have to be as mainstream as possible to appeal to a bigger public Those rare characters appear on videogames, yes. But on a videogame I cant handpick the characters unlike the CMF bags. I think there could be a couple of obscure characters but thats it. Heck, LEGO doesnt even dare to use them on sets where they can be mixed with well-known characters. I dont think they'll try to sell them alone on a CMF bag. I would guess special or rare versions of well known characters. Like an Uma Thurman Poison Ivy or Gaslight Batman and stuff like that -
Thanks to everyone for your comments I hope Series P wont disappoint

Most of the people dont even know who those characters are. I dont know who those characters are. They cant make a wave of obscure characters because general public wont know who they are Lets face it . A DC series would be Batman, Superman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, etc and iconic villains like Cheetah, Joker, Catwoman, etc The series has to appeal to the main public, not just DC fans or otherwise will fail like Batman Series 2 -

Considering the new bags and the higher amount of pieces included now per character, I think Ventriloquist might appear in this series. -

When I was sent the pic of the Series 19 bag and saw the guy I legit thought it was a Chima character. I had to ask @VaderFan2187, who is asian, and he told me this Monkey King character is very popular there. Like Santa Claus for us. -
Sadly I feel some minifigures were sacrificed for the Dog Sitter Girl and the BMX Biker. Minifigures like the Firewoman and the Rugby Player are really lacking in comparison. I know that the poop piece is funny and everything but that could have been done with a brown stud. And use that new mold budget somewhere else. That poop piece is out of proportion anyway. Whoever dog made that needs to be taken with the vet ASAP Then the head would be a vibrant coral face with only eyes printed

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Robert8 replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The only way I can think of to circumvent the license obstacle is releasing a series based on a LEGO product DC-related, just like Batman Movie If so, then it has to be the DC Supervillains videogame The game had a lot of characters that were not released in physical form. So, I think a DC-Supervillains series might happen -
