Maybe Lego wanted to make the conflict(s) seem realistic. Maybe they purposely did not define the thin boundary behind the "good" and the "evil". This seems not only like a logical explanation, but favorable explanation. It's really one's opinion to perceive the "good" versus "evil" of certain people, but even then the most moral would not intentively judge and label. This topic is so silly.

Crap. I've been to some of these (sparse) Goodwill stores here and there, but all they have is clothes, clothes, and more clothes. :-X EDIT; BTW, what's the story behind those fowl, bad-tempered, humanoid Leporidae that appear to be rabbid?

But it's not 100% pirate related. ;-)

"And cannibalism is frowned upon by many societies" :-D Although personally, I thought the Edward costume worked pretty well! :-P But why have you posted this in the Pirate Lego forum, Commodore?

Wow, look at this! http://www.smh.com.au/news/science/rare-sh...9594348990.html This is the first documented encounter of a live frilled shark, chlamydoselachus anguineus, this specimen being a female of 1.6 meters. Nowhere near the size of the AR beasts, but nonetheless a mysterious survivor of a very rare prehistoric species of bottom feeder. It is so very old that looks almost alien to this world. Nice work, Mr. Enoa! The Step Pyramid temple is a great idea that I've never seen in a MOC before! Achu, as always, blends in well and the Exo hair is cute too. *y* I'd love to build an islander city and I have sufficient pieces, but I have no islander figs or an Achu. Your avatar looks like it follows the most prized heritage of Eurobricks, creating dreadfully off-topic discussions in unrelating threads! At least in the French perception, anyways.

Thank you all so much for your thoughtful comments. *y* Now to respond individually;

Simple, I never heard of that before and I looked it up on Google only to promptley recieve this relentless burning sensation in my eyes and to go running away in search of water. *sweet*

Lego, definitely one of life's most basic necessities. X-D I felt it was mush more realistic with the 'canvas' drawn over the front and back, unlike the official WW cavalry wagon or whatever. In full scale the covering would be one large section of cloth pulled over the the framework an tied ovr the front and back, but with paper (yes, that's all it is, 8.5 x 11) one has to use three sheets. Although I scotch taped ( X-D ) the sides to the bigger cover on the inside in several places, so it doesn't move around that much. I'm happy with it. :-) Thanks for the comments. *y*

I'm not sure if this is technically classified as 'Conestoga'. A pioneer's basic necessities. See you in Oregon! -oo7 out-

Wow, this thread is still active. Now that I look back again I see that not many the only ones who followed my templat at all followed it very strictly. The red was just to show the part of my post that described the information that one should put in their post. Most copied the red color itself. 8-| Although, it's not that I haven't looked back at the older posts before, I'm just doing it agian now. I'm being an idiot now. :-$ :-D Bye.

Yeah, that was much more of a 'fun family adventure' than a 'wonderful soaring fantasy'. I thought the story was good, because you see, it is a COMPLETE AND TOTAL RIP-OFF OF STAR WARS EPISODE IV with an atmosphere desperatley tryng to copy the widely sucessful one of LOTR. Think about it. The first one, that is.

Hail to thee, Mr. Tiber! Continue your dedicated efforts towards improving the Pira--- Oh....Oh no. No! NOO! A....A...A Spongebob fan!!! GAHHHHH!!!!! *Drops Laptop* *Runs away screaming*

When I saw Mr. Tiber's most I was sure he would comment on the "Pirate themed". I'm surprised that made it's way into only the second post! So, what did you construct this monolith with, Miles? It looks pretty nice with the realistic looking curves in the weathered looking rock. *y*

Wow, never expected someone would actually use Greedo torso in any non-Scifi MOC. It's, so weird. Yeah, I was thinking this to, The main factor is probably the great color variation. Blue, tan, light grey, dark grey, black, green and all the gem colors. It just doesn't have a 'Medieval Dark Ages" feel to it. Although that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

I am of the forth number to pose a concurence. ;-)

Hmmm.......... More stuff stolen from my ship index "Bored of BS ships" thread. :-/ Don't mind my whining, it's probably better this way, as that other thread kind of died. People, post all those ships so they can get proper discussion. I'm now way too bored of BS ships. :-/ Maybe I'll go take a brief holiday over at H&A while I await the arrival of some land based MOCs. Commenting on Pirate ships can only go so far.

This "new" motorcycle, is that the newer police/Nightwing/Catwoman etc. bike or is a completely new piece? Is the "dirt bike" the big ugly trike? Is this piece that you're reffering to part of te weird Bane vehicle? What is that thing anyways? Hard to tell....... Elaborate, please. ;-)

I think, this should be merged into the preexisting new SW sets thread.

How could Jan. '06 be mid-last week according to any calendar?
-
Hmmm.......Let's think, everyone on this forum should have passed that date a long time ago, so maybe you meant to type January 24, 2007, a day I haven't reached yet, but that could make sence because you would be using the superior Julian calender......... :S
