  1. Heh. This UCS thing is so messed up. They try to make a huge set with lots of detail, in this case of a already huge model, so the final product is actually perfect minifig scale! So they throw in some minifigs anyway (and good ones too!). I doubt there is an interior. All those plates at different angles mean that there's probably a wastefully space-consuming technic framework on the inside. This set does look nice, but it just may be out of my price range.
  2. I wish you a slightly belated birthday, my friend. *y* Let's see anything else I can say.......... Something witty................ Nope. Sorry. Maybe I'll go think some more. Happy Birthday. *sweet*
  3. OK, I've been doing some research and it seems Brickfilms in general can definitely be made with digital still cameras, but looks like Anasazi needs this "Video for Windows' thing which I can only find PC related info on, no camera related info. For the specifications of the S600 Sony says: Is this the end of my toil? I don't really care how long it takes; I just want to be able to use this camera (I don't have a webcam). Technically speaking, I don't really see why a digital still camera would be such a problem for brickfilming, you don't even use a webcams 'real time' feature anyways! :-/ Stop motion is stinging together still pictures, so why can't I sting together still pictures?? :'-( And about your head there, I thought it was just a normal smile with eyebrows.....but it is an interesting choice, but I think it could work. I really don't see why one would worry or even bother, as you can
  4. Oh. I like the variation, one guy wears it 'broadside', the other 'sideways'. Anyway, do I need a webcam or somtin with the live action filming or whatever? I have a digital still camera, Sony S600, can I just take a bunch a pictures like typical, upload'um to the computer, and just sting'um together with the Anasazi? :-/
  5. Yeah, just search for 'Robot Chicken', the name of the TV show this is from. This one was OK, but I like others better, particularly that Star Wars one. X-D Also try 'Robot Chicken Lego'.
  6. Well MISTER Tiber said that the builder also built the white Torre de Belem so that would be LBaixinho. And uh, I'm sorry but this fort is clearly established and manned by the militia. But I'm wondering why there is a double door preceeded by a 4 brick deep drop to the little dock. :S
  7. :-D I like experimenting with that one. http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...opic=7384&st=15 It's always interesting. X-D
  8. X-D Yes indeed my smallie green friendie !! :-D loooooooooooooooooool *yoda* Yeah, I'm not really into the USC, just not that interesting. Although I am looking forward to the Hoth base. I think they TLG should stick to the OT, I just don't like the EU, It's not as 'classic' per say. The Crawler is silly. I await Hoth and Endor sets.
  9. Hmmm......That's kind of cool, but where how did you figure that out? Wouldn't be to hard either as Lego already has the mold (I have one). And the palm tree mold is a big, ugly crappy one-peice mold that's been around for several years as Lego2000 said. :-( I don't understand what's wrong with the old one. The real thing? There's a 90 degrees curve door?
  10. Ah, thanks for the advice, I will consider downloading that Anasazi sometime. A bicorne on Redbeard? Doesn't he already have a bicorne? Are you thinking of using a solid black one? Maybe you should give that Imperial soldier Luke ( :-P ) character a cape to help cease Norrington's nagging.
  11. Wow, ZCerberus went on a Viking rampage! Although....I don't think Viking 'Kings' are realistic (Ahh! Attack of the clones!), they were pirates of the 11th century, they were random rag-tag warrior thieves that joined together in a 'crew' to pillage random villages. They had a leader/captain of a ship maybe, but no 'king', which implies there was an empire to rule over. And I don't like how Lego has to color coordinate their "Outfits!!" either, they wore what ever they had, they really didn't care, they were a bunch of dirty, illmanered, barbaric brutes. As for the seize equipment it looks nice, as Norro said, for the Lego world. I like all the horns sticking out of everywhere, looks very fierce. X-D And I can't help but wondering how the whole body of 'The Bull' raises up, the missiles shoot and the HUGE catapult of the 'Double Engine' launches. Perhaps a simple set of hydraulic pumps? The archer cart is way too big to be a cart and therefore to have two wheels, but I like the portable practice target. :-P
  12. OK............. 8-| That was kind of weird................ But the animation was great! http://www.ladonite-creations.com/Norseland_Saga/
  13. Anasazi Stop Motion Animator? And thanks for the link, I've been to Brickfilms a bunch of times before but I never new they had a Wiki.
  14. Wow, what a great picture Mr. Scouts, it's very sharp and has a great layout and editing! What program do you use for your stop-motion anamation? If it's easy I might consider doing someting short, not so serious sometime.
  15. It was originally invented and only used for HP in 2001. Later in 2003, TLC decided it would be great for other lines too (Wake up and smell the coffee!) and thus they put it in great new colors in city and spiderman sets. Hopefully that will also be the case with this hair piece, except this time maybe they have learned their lesson and we will not have to wait as long. *y* Yes, the female is great. Not only is the body really usefull, the hair is a great new mold (something I certainly didn't expect) and even the head which I would think as so-so mundane woman head, turns out to be very usefull (something I would have never expected). I hope it's double-sided and I wonder how good it will look on a guy....... 8-| That fig is a goldmine motherload whatever, I hope it's not exclusively in that stupid set. |-/
  16. *Sigh* Someone shoot me. I can't believe that there is enough of an audience and collection to create a whole thread serving as an index to link other webpages to that contain custom cannon designs. Phes, it's combined with Bonaparte's land MOCs thread.
  17. Oh. I just thought the Wikipedia descriptions were fake. I see you're right, they've been taken of Brickset. Usually the sets are definitely confirmed before they uploaded to brickset. :-( D'oh! I thought I was in the other thread for a second, I'm sorry.I know, it's stupid.
  18. Uh-uh. Yoda has made yet another new nickname. Blackie...........Hmmm.............doesn't sound to 'politically correct' X-D Anyways, here are some more new sponge sets pictures. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=232075 Now we're seeing boating school and chum bucket, but does anyone know what's happening with Karate Island, Treedome, Flyn' Dutchman, etc?
  19. Yes, very nice looking. Althou you pretty much perfectly mached the backround color with the tread backround, next thing would bbe to make it truely trans-parent. Now uh.........what's this for?
  20. Wow, HJR, you have just mad my day. I never heard of a tie crawler before and it looks kind silly. The spongebob sets look good ( :-$ ) and the castle woman is beautiful! A new beatiful dress, hair piece, and very udefull scared face!! *wub* The Batman looks great too but I thought the base was bigger. :'-( There's got to be more somewhere. And no Scarecrow bat-chopper set pics? This picture confuses me. Sponge Bot? Another Sponge Bot? Tank?

Since he posted this in the town forum I believe he is building a modern, or at least recent port. My first recommendation was very relevent but I just couldn't help posting Puerto Brico. *wub* BTW, Mr. Darthking, do you possess any of those fishies from the Ninja sets? (I think there in some belleville too)
  22. Congratulations, mate! That's a good display you have there. At first I thought "Whoa, that's one long picture!" :-D Then you might want to blue something else out too......... (It's not in this thread) Anyways, great work! $150!
  23. After all those exadgerated, faulty bid ebay now deleted the whole auction! 8-
  24. If you have ever read the the liability technicalities at the very bottom of the MOCpages homepage, you will recognize these words; Home | Explore MOCpages | About MOCpages | Help MOCpages is an unofficial, fan-created web service that is not sponsored by The LEGO Group of companies.
