Right you are, but it's latin taxonomy, vampyroteuthis infernalis, literally 'vampire squid from hell'. X-D

ordering viagra through MOCpages.com ???
oo7 replied to Brick Miner's topic in General LEGO Discussion
WTF? What's up with the weird sidebars? Is this registered as a creation? Can you rate it? I don't think so. Did he hack into MOCpages? That misplaced and mutilated 'R' makes me think so.......... 8-| :-D Well, you can try sending a complaint to Sean@Seankenney.com -
Mee too. I guess that's what you should expect from kids. I don't like judging movies to the piont of first, second, third, etc. so here is just some good ones in random order. All three of Back to the Future (They're all so good I can't pick out the better) Pay it forward (The original) Planet of the Apes (just remembered how good that one was after I watched it on the History Channel (?) last night) Raiders of the Lost Ark followed by the Last Crusade Batman Begins I think some Star Trek ones are good.... I think that goes for the SW OT too, the best being TESB The Black Pearl and Casino Royal are also some of the better ones. And the Bourne duology (soon to be trilogy?) was pretty cool. 8-|

Very original. I like te idea of the sleeping bag and the miner hidding his gold 'under his pillow' while he sleeps, but I'm not to fond that one must pull off his head and beard to 'put him to sleep'. maybe if you used a two-piece 1x2 hinge you could fit a shaven miner in the space between. Also, is that an Exo-Force head?

JSN, if you're still out there, somehere, here's another oil rig for you. Sorry if it is a little big. The picture that is, not the MOC. Although that's pretty big too.

Well they've had several rounds of it, so I'll say it's doing pretty well. Did 4+ Pirates really fail? Badly? I think the Viking line did well but they just got rid of it to make way for new and better things. (one of them hopefully later being hopefully pirates) X-D

Whoa! Mr. Chapman revamped the whole website and at least doubled the selection. What a big improvement; that place grow so fast! I've benn 'planning' on buying the 8 pack for a while, but now I don't know what to choose anymore. 8-

Well by using the term 'English' I avoided specifing 'Grammer' from 'Spelling' or visa versa. Kirk's writting is so poor I am unable to pick out the the grammer mistakes from the spelling mistakes, if they are actually different at all.

What did they do to me?!? They're Pirates! They stole all my gold! X-D Dumb Jokes. I was actually wondering who would be the first to comment on that. Since the 'British Flagship' despription was in German I used the German word for 'the', being Die for the name of the ship, Die Barracuda.
-
These ships are so very interesting they both receive their own threads? They have standard hulls with standard masts, nothing really spectacular.......Ok, Ok, fine. Do we plan to give each individual ship uploaded to Brickshelf it's own thread no matter the quality of the actual MOC? This Pirate forum seems to get crazier and crazier every day......... :-/ All this seems way too obsessive. :'-(

Oh, that didn't even occur to me, that slope dress must really limit the playability and screw up the design. So, I guess the current height is the only choice. eeowh. I got the wrong impression. That's good then. I fondly await those pictures; they will provide more information that will allow me to stop making these skeptical assumptions.

2c Here is a ship created by Brickshelf user DundS I mentioned in my Bored of Brickshelf list. Die Barracuda, Rotrock Flaggschiff (The Barracuda, Red coat (British) Flagship) And the MOC in this (recently created) Brickshelf folder sure is interesting, those strange looking wall pieces aren't a very nice looking or realistic for castle and it's probably the same for pirates. They're so weird.......black with gold......

*wacko* Whatever.........Bionicle is weird...........

Ohh......Heehee I was actually seriously contemplating making a vignette of EB users a while ago.......but then I realized I had no pirate sets. :'-( Maybe I'll still make it some if I ever get to buying that ITP on Ebay. :-/ I'd say the avatar.

I don't care if this hovercraft had wooden wagon wheels and helicopter blades! Lego obviously based their set off the Canadian coast guard hovercraft, so it's accurately realistic! X-D I also doubt there are two different positions for the 'things' as they seem to have slightly differnet angels in the first picture. I think as Simon said, the 'things' are to collect air to push downwards under the craft for the air cushon, and the ruberness :-P in the first picture is deflated (Because the hovercraft is parked on the beach). But yes, where are you EB hovercraft expert?? We need you!

Happy Brithday Kim! I hope you have a great day with lots of rattling packages!!

X-D Bad joke indeed. Anyway, I guess you didn't look quite as hard as I had hoped, as the turning things (I don't exactly know what they do 8-| ) are in two different directions in these two pictures of the same vessel. ;-) http://www.boatnerd.com/news/newpictures03b/waban-aki-m-pich

I would never have imagined so many 'non-existent' pieces would be in one small set. Pretty nice, Brick Miner, I would buy it if it was a set, but I would need to do some modding. Although you wanted this building style to 'blend' with the Western sets of 1997 and such it significantly weakens the overall impression of the coach. I would like to see some more pictures of the stagecoach, as you've put much focus on every minifigure but have not shown the right side of the coach. Right now I can say the whole thing is too high. I just prefer making a MOC as realistic as possible. Why use the old, scanty styles of building when we have moved past that? Again, I really need more pictures to tell, but the doors look kind of weak, it looks very hard for the chauffeur to climb up to his perch and the 1x1 brown bricks on the tall slopes on the back would be better as 1x2 brown bricks interlocked into the space between the red bricks and the small black fence. Anyway, does that bush come with the set? If so, it shouldn't be so hidden by the cactus in the box art. I do like your choice of minifigs however, and it's ability to fit in so well with your saloon. The last picture is kind of funny, the two of them standing at gun-point with there hands raised in the air when the butt of a shotgun is clearly sticking out the crate on the top of the coach. Meanwhile, the bandit's horses innocently sniff a bundle of lit dynamite lying unattended in the sand. X-D It also looks like there are white tiles between under the roof which makes mee think the roof could be easily removed to put a minifig in. That's a good feature, if that's the case. And did you draw the backround, the SYSTEM, and everything from scratch? It looks great, very proffessional. But why 6722? That is the last set of the Dino line, so 6723 would be more fitting.

Oh, I see. Thank you for the well written explanation, Mr. Visorak. *y* I'll ask another question although I only wanted to ask one. X-D I thought they just make another round of 'cooler' Toas each year just to be 'cooler', but now I realize that the story line seems pretty defined. I remember from that weird film the original Toa got that Mask of Light from the underworld or something and became Toa Nuva. Each year do the original 2001 Toas get another upgrade? It seems they sometimes have similar names, are always humanoid (unlike the 'evil' guys) and they have the same colors and powers, so are each round of them the same guys? Or are they new ones?
-
Okay...........I just have one question, The name 'Bionicle' makes you think that the Bionicle guys are cyborgs or something, although they do look very, mostly robotic. Are Bionicle creatures aliens from a distant system/galaxy? They live on a tropical island, so I would thing they would be mostly organic....They do speak English? What exactly are they?

Lego and More Lego although small holds a fun minifig contest every week. Since the member group is very small the rules are pretty simple, creator of thread provides theme and picks winner, winner then proceeds to make a new contest with a new theme. Everything in my 'Minifigs' Brickshelf folder are entries except the pirate. :-)

Not only that but the whole hat and every other part would be glued together! And there's a big chain attaced to their head! You couldn't even salvage the hands! Value for MOCs = 0%

I now graciously present an uber-belated Thank You. X-D Better late than never, right? Right??? 8-| :-$
