@ VFracingteam: Your Brickshelf folder is "Not Yet Public", so we cannot see your photos there yet. It may be several days before they are moderated. You could "Deeplink" your photos (as timr suggested), using this procedure. Or, you can insert your Flickr photo URLs by right-clicking on your photo, clicking on "Properties", then copying the http:// URL and "Pasting" it into your Eurobricks reply "Insert Image" button.

I would go to Flickr.com , create an account there, then upload your photos there. Flickr allows you to easily create Photo Sets, with descriptions. Then you can right-click on your photo, select the "Medium" 800x600 pixel size (the maximum allowed by Eurobricks), and "Insert Image" here on Eurobricks (by clicking on the icon that is just to the right of the "smiley face" icon on your post reply).

Metal axles for lego
DLuders replied to habit's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
@ Countdown: Inanimate Reason has Lego-style steel axles in 6 different lengths (13L-18L): "Chrome Silver Steel axle. 13L length with a round profile and a flat edge ground the length to allow it to be locked with a set screw. The diameter is perfect for Technic-sized holes. The ends have been ground and chamfered for ease of use and to eliminate sharp edges." -

@ Nazgarot and shimon: Just out of curiosity, how long did you to model the 9392 Quad Bike in Lego Digital Designer? Did you have difficulty mounting the Technic Links (chain) onto the gears? -
Simple rc steering mod 8081
DLuders replied to davidmull's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Louskam has motorized his Lego Technic 8081 Extreme Cruiser set -- see this Eurobricks post for details. He built his in white, and would involve a complete rebuild of your existing vehicle, however. Nuno2500 has posted his 21-step Lego Technic 8081 "Easy Power Functions Motorization" on his Brickshelf gallery. That one looks simpler. -
Lego Technic 8053 Mobile Crane
DLuders replied to Xenion's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
@ Xenion: Welcome to Eurobricks! To read various reviews of the Lego Technic sets you mentioned, recommend going to Brickset.com . If you type in the set numbers at the top-right corner of that website, you can read what others think about the set, see the Building Instructions, and more. You should probably grab the 8053 Mobile Crane priced at 49,99 € . Later on (if you decide to build a "My Own Creation" (MOC)), the 8053 would offer a good variety of useful parts. The 8043 Motorized Excavator set is considered to be excellent, with a high "playability" factor. The 8258 Crane Truck is also excellent. -
Power puller wheels
DLuders replied to davidmull's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
No, it's too much money. I have a feeling that the upcoming (2012) Technic Rock Crawler set may have the "Power Puller" tires and wheels, mounted on the Unimog's Portal Axle pieces. Wait a few months for details about that set. -
Since my father was an Architect and I'm a Civil Engineer, I voted for the 30 St Mary Axe, Petronas Towers, and Taipei 101 for their interesting shapes and angles.

Here's a Yahoo! News story about a 33-foot (10-meter) LEGO Christmas Tree at the London, England's St. Pancras International Train Station: "33-Foot Tall LEGO Christmas Tree Decorates London Train Station" By Katie Kindelan | Good Morning America – Wed, Nov 30, 2011 Ross Pattern/Zuma Press "Even the merriest of Christmas celebrators can turn grumpy when it comes to the annual holiday rite of putting up the Christmas tree. "But the task of decorating a 9-ft spruce or even untangling an artificial tree pulled from the closet is nothing when compared against the latest in ultimate Christmas trees: a 33-foot-tall tree constructed entirely of LEGOs. "The tree, now on display at the St. Pancras International train station in London, is the tallest LEGO Christmas tree ever constructed. "Each of the tree’s 600,000 LEGO bricks, 172 Lego branches and 1,200 LEGO baubles were assembled by hand by just two men, Duncan Titmarsh, England’s only certified LEGO professional, and his business partner, Ed Diment. "The two men spent two months assembling the tree off-site, followed by two more weeks working at St. Pancras station to add the finishing touches to the tree. "Titmarsh and Diment completed their work Nov. 24, just as Americans celebrated Thanksgiving Day, and just in time for the holiday rush. "“Live builds are always fantastic fun as it always captures the public’s imagination and stops them in their tracks,” Titmarsh told the UK’s Surrey Advertiser. “This tree has certainly created a lot of interest among visitors to St. Pancras.” "The tree’s 172 LEGO branches are decorated with 1,000 ornaments and a garland of LED lights. "Lego creations constructed by Titmarsh before the tree, his biggest task to date, include a LEGO greenhouse, a giant handbag for a British shopping outlet, a giant toothbrush and a map of the London Underground. "The LEGO Christmas tree will remain on display at St. Pancras International through January 3 [2012], when it will be taken down, piece by piece."

Power puller wheels
DLuders replied to davidmull's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
@ zewy623: I would recommend putting the tire on the outside of the 22969 wheels, to make them "fat". If you were to mount the tire on the inner rim, the profile of the tire does not change at all so you might as well mount them on the Unimog's standard wheels. Be sure to read all of the comments on each photo in that Flickr photoset. -

Power puller wheels

@ zewy623: SNIPE asked the same question -- yes, the Unimog's x1825 tires do fit on the 22969 wheels. See my photos and descriptions on this Flickr photoset. -
George v2 Video (finally)
DLuders replied to Burf2000's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
There is a nice 3-page article about "George" on Hispabrick Magazine 12, pages 19-21 (MegaUpload's SkyDrive's direct download link to the 36-MB PDF file is here). Thanks to Burf2000 (Simon Burfield) for sharing his MOC with the world! More pictures can be found on his Flickr photoset, and videos on his . -
As reported by Parda on his Technic Delicatessen website, 3okapis made this of a Lego Technic truck turning into a sports car. Translated from German to English, he wrote:"A Lego truck transforms into a Sports Car. This idea was inspired by the 1980's film "Condorman". Our version is (however) completely up-to-date [and] re-usable: the racer slips at the end again under his truck covering."

Power puller wheels
DLuders replied to davidmull's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The Lego Technic Power Puller Set 8457 was the only one to feature the HUGE "Technic Power" tires -- the 32298pb01 "Tire Technic Power Puller with 'TECHNIC POWER' White Pattern": The Power Puller's WHEELS are not as rare -- the 22969 "Wheel 62mm D. x 46mm Technic Racing Large" were featured in 5 Technic sets: It's a matter of "Supply and Demand". If you don't care whether the tire says "Technic Power" or not, the plain 32298 tire (from the 8466 4x4 Off Roader set) may be an option. It is listed as a "Tire Technic Power Puller" in Bricklink. -

WOW! What a "treasure trove" you have! I just downloaded your ZIP file, extracted the contents, and can see LOTS OF GOODIES! Thanks for sharing them! -
KopMaister's custom battery connector is similar to the one on the YouTube video featured at the beginning of this Eurobricks post. They are available on this website: http://custombattery.blogspot.com/ . I have three of them, and they work great for any Lego Power Functions application in tight spaces! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhjZoymaYkY
