I finally got the Horizon Express the other day and that got me thinking on what sets Lego should make. The original 0 Series Shinkansen The California Zephyr, complete with a Dome/Observation car at the end Something Amtrak, like the AEM-7 or the GE Genesis, but in the original 70's paint scheme with Amfleet or Superliner Coaches A PRR GG1 with a couple of Pullman coaches to pull A Crocodile locomotive with some generic passenger coaches A typical American freight train with multiple types of cars and a caboose A streetcar terminal with two different streetcars and some sort of structure I think Lego could also make a smaller $40-$60 2-car subway train in addition to a larger set. It would hopefully be easily modifiable to look like some generic train coaches, so we could get around the fact that extra carriages don't sell as well. Hopefully 2014 brings us some nice new city trains and a good looking station.

Review Review: 21103 Back To The Future Time Machine
Legoroni replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Nice review! The comparisons you made have convinced me to buy this set. And for more sets, I don't think anymore could be released without the Delorean and I doubt lego would include one in every set. Though, I would love to see that train as a set.- 207 replies

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/248/pisab.jpg/ Is this the next Architecture set? Or is it just a MOC? If it is real, I am quite underwhelmed. I don't think it's that great.

Could someone get a picture of TDKR Bane head on the Comic Bane or plain muscle torso?

^Really? It doesn't have the silver on the chin and legs. Also, it doesn't have the thing that might be the heartbreaker on his chest. If you look closely, they look similar, just the other one seems like it has a few tweaks to be the heartbreaker suit. -

This isn't actually in film or TV, but rather a comic book. In Ultimate Spider-Man Volume 2 #19, Lego is referenced. Apparently, Ganke, Miles Morales's (The ultimate version of Spider-Man) friend has a Lego fund. He was saving up for the "limited edition Death Star", but he decided to put it towards helping Miles make new web fluid. I thought it was pretty cool

Darn. Did you try it with the new cowl?

Does anyone have any pictures of Batman's cowl on Nova's head and Nova's helmet on Batman's head? I want to see if we can give them both a few different expressions.

It looks legit to me. I can't wait for the sets to come out now. Or, at least some pictures of them. -
I made a few more minifigs. Warning: The pictures are a bit large. Scarlet Spider 4 of the original 5 X-Men For Angel, use the same basic parts and use the wing technique made by ReZourceman.

You know what, it would be totally awesome if Marvel or DC did a series of Lego variant covers. Anyways, cool photos everyone. I especially like the Doctor Doom's castle and Asylum Joker shots. They are great. Keep 'em coming.

That Wasp looks really nice. Is that Savage Opress's torso?
-
The hair is from Mutt Williams, I think. The head is Hawkeye's. The rest is just a combination of standard plain yellow and dark blue Minifig parts.

Wow. Looks really nice.

Not sure if this has been posted, I haven't been following Star Wars for a long time now. Jabba's Palace on top of the rancor pit. http://blogfiles.naver.net/20121213_265/legoblog_1355361229419jKbSJ_JPEG/17.jpg EDIT: Maybe not this exact picture, but this has been shown before. Never mind.

Hiding the motor in plain sight was an interesting idea. You've given me a few ideas.

^Oh yeah, forgot about their other suits. Batman suits would require new molds, unless they just give him a purple belt and a little purple on the wings for the wing suit, so that leaves Robin. -
^I would like an Octan tanker train. However, I'm not buying it, yet.
