Concerning the Black Pearl's Unfortunate Rudder
Sir E Fullner replied to tchuk-norst's topic in LEGO Pirates
I've had a few peeks at the building instructions, and I think you could get rid of the T-piece and the Technic brick and replace it with one of those bricks with holders and a lightsaber blade, and constructing a different blade. That might work. If not, well there are other experts here you could ask. If they reply... -
Great ship! Though, I have a thought that the British might have taken her over and left the American flag up top.
-
Good work on the frame. Keep it up!

She's a beauty. I wouldn't mind building one of those myself.

Sir E Fullner replied to JopieK's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Well, whadya know about that? I think there will be a big bunch of orders on Bricklink for those new rails. -

I love the Railway Series books, and I love this design. By the way, are you thinking about lengthening Caroline a bit?
-
I think that I saw the book at a Barnes & Noble store in Sioux City. I asked my grandma to get it for me for Christmas. I hope I get it.

A colorful ship with a colorful design. What could be better? Great job so far.
-
You better look out, I think that Blackbeard might want that ship for himself.

Ship-of-the-Line Under Construction
Sir E Fullner replied to Dread Pirate Wesley's topic in Pirate MOCs
I envy the captain of that ship. In fact, a captain in my fleet would envy that captain. His ship is only 22 studs long. -
It's a cute little fort. It almost reminds me of the Imperial Outpost, with a round turret.
-
It's amazing how the stones from the old Mayan temples still exist. It reminds me of the old city of Chichenitza.
-
Very good work. However, you should downsize the images up there.
-
Yes, well, as soon as LEGO releases a reasonably priced Imperial ship, I think I will get it and add it to the fleet. Chances of that, nil.

[pid][/pid] 116A Hello. I think that I took another small step into the world of shipbuilding. I made another vessel with some spare parts I had lying around, added some paper sails and string, and made a post nobody cares about on it. I give you: HMS Galahad A view on the side. In this picture, you can see the ugly technic design for the masts. The back. I just put on a cutlass for decoration. A view of Captain Marius looking over the sea. It wouldn't work out so well, seeing that he's on land at the moment. Two of the midshipmen are studying chart making. So far they don't know how to use a sextant. A look at a cargo hook I put on so there is more deck space. A tiny sailor, wondering what he is doing in a post nobody will probably read. A view of my current tiny fleet. Fat chance I will ever get enough bricks to build a big one. Well, that's about it for this post. Feel free to comment! Seriously, please comment. Always entertaining, always inspiring, always:

I think LEGO needs to get some decent Imperial Soldiers sets on the shelves. I mean, London Escape was okay, but only two soldiers. There have to be some more soldiers in the sets.
-
Awesome! These instructions kick tater-tots! Though, I think that I would renovate mine with more furniture. Soldiers and Pirates, even LEGO, need to sit, too, you know!

A pretty colorful vessel. What do you have in mind for the U.S.S. Constitution project?

114D Hello, all. Recently I've been working in the area of Pirates. And I decided to make my first ACTUAL LEGO pirate ship. Please welcome with open arms, my little ship: H.M.S. Quicksilver I really don't have much for ship parts, so I just built one with what made do. Side View Back View The little treasure chest hanging off the back was an idea of mine to save space. The Helm At the helm, you can see a small wheel, and one of Jack Sparrow's compasses. The crew From Left to right, His Lordship (the current owner), Captain Flutewhistler, Lieutenant Maxx, Private Jim, Private Tim, and the boatswain. The crew on board A little treat: We've seen the films, Sparrow, you'll probably find an island and ride two sea turtles to Tortuga. That's Captain Sparrow to you! Wet, again. That's all for now. See you later. Always entertaining, always inspiring, always:

Eurobrick's 4th LDD RCB
Sir E Fullner replied to Piratedave84's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I build LDD pirate sets almost all the time. Sign me up! -
She sure is a beauty. I wonder what the sails on her will look like.

She's a good galleon. Wonderful shape. I hope to see some more of its design.
