  1. "Not as of yet. But I am sure I will stop by once more on my way out of town." Nur sipped his drink. "I see a hammer in your hand. Working on anything special? May I see the shop's wares?"
  2. No problem. The pace fits my current schedule.
  3. Nur gave Tesni a slight nod before moving to the were-raven. "Great cake, ya'll selected. There is no doubt it is from Samwerk's. I recently purchased some fine pastries from there. I understand they do deliveries?"
  4. Nur's smile grew as the dwarves chuckled at him. Clearly I have gained their favor. "Well it is fortunate there is still work in mythril here, Odmin. Some folk in Krumpknob mentioned that mythril was in short supply." He looked to Tesni hoping she would take advantage of Odmin's services though he was unsure if her armour could get much better.
  5. "Ah, indeed. We were given a slight reprieve in our duties when our shift ended. My name is En Sabah Nur and my traveling companion is the blade-mistress Tesni. I'm sure she could benefit greatly from your services. Perhaps after the festivities have settled? My equipment could also use tending to. Especially with a bit of mythril if ye ask me but never mind that for now. I do not have much but as a gift to you, I give you this Shackles of War (Prevents anyone from fleeing battles, Accessory ) and Lock & Chain (Prevents items in the inventory from getting stolen; Accessory ) . The chains are extremely sturdy but at the very least you could melt 'em down...I suppose."
  6. Nur leaned sideways toward Tesni. "The owner's birthday. Impressive cake." Inhaling deeply, the mage took a step forward. "Here, here! A finer gentleman and craftsman cannot be found in all the cities under the Mountain. Or so I've been told...As a stranger to your city who has only recently arrived, I have had numerous citizens praise this man and thought as a visitor I would pay my respects." Alfred stood silently and surveyed the merriment that filled the smithy.
  7. "Well my mission is clear. Thank ye for the goodies." En Sabah Nur heads to Odin's Smithy.
  8. "I'm not busy at the moment. Give me his description and a starting direction to head in and I could go look for him for ya. It would grant me a chance to learn the city better." Alfred wondered if his Master knew the reason for his presence in this city and the purpose of the team's quest or if he simply did not care. He had developed a need to ask the other Party members if they too had noticed this mage's incompetence. The Seneschal began to think that he could serve as a more than adequate replacement for En Sabah Nur on this quest. And shouldn't I as the only golem on this team possess sole custody of all golem related items? I could improve myself with them. I could create a companion for myself. I could create my own group of followers to lead once again. I could... For the first time since his creation, The Seneschal began to dream.
  9. Meanwhile, back at the Bakery... "That good eh? I will take one Croise Croissant and one Pantanan Pie for the road, please." Nur waited at the counter as his dessert was prepared. "Krillmyer, may I ask where your brother delivered to? My companions and I were attacked by some strange subterranean creatures on our way into the city. I'd hate for him to face such beasts alone."
  10. "Ah, the warmth of your establishment is very much appreciated. What might ye have on the menu for today?" Nur nods with a friendly smile to the customer sitting alone. "Greetings, recommend anything in particular?" Alfred stands motionless just inside the bakery not far from the door.
  11. "Umm..." Nur rubs his tummy. "...I'm a bit hungry. Might venture over to the Bakery. I'm sure Dumora can accompany you in my stead."
  12. "Of course Alfred is right! His knowledge precedes the birth of all the known races!" Nur had no idea about the extent of his golem's knowledge but didn't wish to let his uncertainty show. "And pay no heed towards his feelings, Lad. He is an artificial lifeform devoid of emotion. If my mistress would allow, perhaps we could escort you the rest of the way to your village?"
  13. - "..." - An incredulous look crossed the mage's face. "Respond! You must know something with all the time you spent in that Tower." " By your command ...Many of the organs used to build golems have a variety of uses. The correlation between a golem's organs and the animated creature is quite simple: In general, the greater the complexity of the golem means that more organs are used in its creation. The relationship extends a step further in that more "important" organs in fewer number can also result in a higher functioning or specialized golem such as myself. The Master used a golem heart to bring life to me. Nur leaned forward slightly and cocked his head to the side, letting the golem know he had yet to answer the question. "The golem kidney has been known to be used as the primary component in the creation of some grating stones. The craftsmen of Brumpknob should know more." En Sabah Nur narrowed his eyes and continued to stare at the Seneschal as he drank 3 Potions.
  14. Weakened but now conscious, Dumora takes her Grand Potion from the back row.
  15. Alfred dragged his master to the back row. "I...I can throw this Dysentery Bomb (Deals 105 water-elemental damage and the poisoned by 1-effect to all opponents when used)." In reality, Nur only had strength enough to roll the bomb into the mob with the hope that one of the golems would step on it.
  16. With troubles of his own, there was nothing Nur could do for the dwarf as she was swallowed by the mob. I hope she still lives. - "Sir, based on my assessment of your current injuries I suggest you avoid sustaining further damage if you wish to remain conscious." "I am well aware..." En Sabah Nur cast a water spell at Slate Golem Group A from the back row. His shield really needed enchanting.
  17. En Sabah Nur prepares a water spell to use against Slate Golem Group A from the back row. With so many enemies present he realized that his shield could use an enchantment. "Dumora, will you provide me aid against these mobs? I will thin the closest group, you take Slate Golem Group B and make a promise to your deity to do as much damage as possible(Retribution) to these mindless constructs." She looks like one to fight on the front lines. I hope she holds on to her shield until we reduce some of these enemies.
  18. Suddenly Nur loosens his grip on staff, nearly dropping it. Unaffected by the spores, Alfred focuses his master. - "Wild golems approaching, Sir. Prepare yourself." His resolve somewhat returned, Nur becomes ready for combat.
  19. En Sabah Nur stood back as the troll worked. "I am not certain what awaits us but this situation reminds me of the chivalrous sentiment of, 'Ladies first'." The mage smirked to himself. Best to conserve my energies for whatever may reveal itself.
  20. "I will try but the debris is composed of some heavy boulders and large slabs of stone. I might require assistance perhaps from a tunneling creature or one with great strength to share the burden, eh Pirate?" En Sabah Nur attempts to remove the rubble with earth magic.
  21. "I think there is someone...buried-" En Sabah Nur kneeled near the rubble. "-in there. Not quite sure if it'd be safe for us to move anything yet." Nur used his magnifying glass on and around the rubble.
  22. Nur stared awkwardly at the mouse man. "So...do you hail from these parts? You seem like an interesting fellow with stories to share?"
  23. En Sabah Nur learned what he had needed. He gave a curt bow in deference to Ellaria. "I am truly sorry Mistress. For this inconvenience, please feel free to reduce my pay in any way you see fit since you're not even paying me a single copper ..." Nur recalled Alfred then walked to the mouseman who didn't seem to have or show any strong feelings about his golem. "Hello there, friend. Do you mind if we sit here?"
  24. En Sabah Nur and his charge made their way to the bar. The mage discontinued his approach shortly before reaching the intended destination. With folded arms he watched the patrons as Alfred completed his task. - "My master wishes to know what you serve here, Barkeep."
  25. En Sabah Nur grinned. "Dumora, do you have to gather any supplies for yourself? I can have Alfred carry them. Al-Fi-!" Alfred the Seneschal rushed to present himself before the vindicator.
