  1. "Yes he is." Nur responded aloud. His brow furrowed in confusion a moment before he went downstairs. "Greetings, you must be Boogie Brains. How have you been inconvenienced by the theft?"
  2. "Alright Rip, I will send him your regards. Am I allowed to venture upstairs?" Nur peeks at the forge activity before attempting to head upstairs to the racoon. If successful, "Greetings Friend. Did you witness anything when the device was stolen? Kog mentioned that the thief only took the drill."
  3. "As of now no, though my anguine friend might have use of it. At this time I am simply curious and just looking around. Have you done much work at the Eastern Depot? I'm due to meet with the foreman there soon."
  4. The eyes of Nur darted to the left then the right before briefly settling, looking straight ahead. He slowly glanced to the left again before dismissing the fact that he'd heard any voice at all in his head. "Extraordinary, Rip. I hope more passersby and onlookers come to appreciate the craftmanship. It would have been a disservice to myself if I left town without taking a peek at everything in this location. Do you rent the machine out or what exactly is sold in this shop?"
  5. "My apologies, it seems in my haste to visit your shop, Ms. Kog, I have forgotten to introduce myself even to my lovely escort who showed me the way. Ladies, I am En Sabah Nur, a mere traveler and explorer who took on a job serving as a protector for Doctor Arbour because it provided me with an opportunity to visit this part of Olegaia for the first time." The mage gave a deep bow as he attempted to lay the diplomacy on thick. "The Lady is correct in that machines hold much interest to me ever since I witnessed the unveiling of a transmogrifaction machine some time ago. During my short time here I heard brief mention of the special drilling machine you developed and that it had been stolen. If you care to share your thoughts, do you have any idea who might have taken the device? As an accomplished surface mage perhaps I can offer my assistance in exchange for...you showing me how denizens from this part of the realm use machinery. Like that one with the legs to my right that seems to have a seat for a pilot?"
  6. Nur paused a moment from embarrassment. "Ya know, I am uncertain if she said that the drill was made of mythril or if it was just used to drill deep for mythril or if she even mentioned the word 'mythril' at all. No matter what she said, the thieves must be involved with the mythril shortage in some way. I shall return quickly. To me, Alfred!" En Sabah Nur goes to Kogs & Company. Outside the shop he removes his Sedge Hat and puts on the Cobra Nemes..
  7. Not wanting to interrupt her conversation, Nur walked passed Ellaria and stopped at Atramor. "Atramor, did you or Ellaria visit Kog's & Company? The woman tending bar said they'd had their mythril drill stolen. I want to go see if they have any ideas on who was responsible for the theft."
  8. "Well then we can learn together. I want to head to Kog's & Company and see what they're working on" And maybe get some leads on their missing drill. "if you'd care for the company. Hostess, you mentioned some partying later tonight. I would like to stop by. Where can I find these hot spots?"
  9. "It is nice to meet someone down here that appreciates magics I had no idea were considered taboo. Practitioners of necromancy experience less scrutiny across their entire career than I have in the past day from the denizens down under. Really he doesn't do much other than carry an extra set of clothing for me." Nur gave a commanding yet apologetic nod to Alfred directing him into a corner. "Tell me Miss ssss , what have you discovered so far about their cogworks? Is Kog's & Company going to be doing business in...where is it that you are from?"
  10. En Sabah Nur attempted to handle the inquiry with diplomacy. "My traveling companion is indeed a golem, Madam. He is quite harmless but if it will provide you comfort and ease your mind, I can have him wait outside. Though having Alfred the Living Statue out there might cause a loss in business. I am here escorting the Doctor while she handles her affairs and it seems I've been offered a bit of a respite. So far I have had chance to visit the pleasant bakery but the Cogs and Company seems worth a visit if they are developing a fascinating new drilling technology."
  11. "Interesting. Do you think the dark dwarves have control of the worm and golems as well? I met a shopkeep that said that an individual named Xor has pertinent information about the mythril shortage. However, he will only cooperate if we convince him to put a rush on 'Fodmin's supply order' and he complies. Something to do with our bartering skills to show this Xor he can trust us." Nur shrugs and throws his hands high into the air. "Strange customs they have here underground. He is currently located at the depot to the east of this city." Nur turns toward the naga and grins. "Hello."
  12. "Not at the moment. Apologies." Nur exited the bakery. "Darn, I should have had the she-barbarian pay for some modifications to my gear." He headed to the Rusty Minecart for a rest.
  13. "I agree with Samwerk. This orc is running a business where punctuality and integrity are key components for success. You two should consider looking at the situation through his eyes just as you, Samwerk can empathize with the daily difficulties Figgle faces as your people are still being regularly persecuted on the surface world." With the Fodmin's offer fresh on his mind, En Sabah Nur did not care one way or another about the dark dwarf's fate at the moment so he did not try his hardest to solve the situation diplomatically. "Perhaps in addition to being responsible from this moment forward, you can take a form of punishment such as working a set amount of time without pay to prove you have truly changed."
  14. "I would like to make use of your services so I accept your proposal. While Tesni is still deciding on what purchase to make, I will escort Figgle back to the Bakery before looking for the rest of our party."
  15. Nur rubbed his hands together. "My my. What do ye have in mind? The credit would be much appreciated as unfortunately my pockets are currently quite bare."
  16. "Amazing...Fodmin's wares and services are much more impressive than Odmin's." Fodmin, Odmin rhymes! "At the risk of being forcibly removed from your shop, can you tell me if Odmin and Fodmin share parentage?" Curiosity had been known to slay a domesticated feline or two but Nur had to know and his coinpurse was too light to take advantage of this excellent store anyway.
  17. En Sabah Nur attempts to rely on his charming diplomacy. "I assure you that as a first time visitor to this city I merely wished to the see the sights Brumpknob has to offer and am unaware of the disreputable areas I should avoid. I too believe a strong weapon is key to a successful defense especially since dwarven craftsmanship greatly surpasses that of the surface artisans to which I am accustomed."
  18. En Sabah Nur offered Figgle a nervous half-chuckle half-sigh to the dwarf's warning. It only now occured to him that these two shops could be rivals. "Greetings sir. I'd like to view your wares if'n ye do not take issue with my traveling companions the dark dwarf Mister Figgle, the golem Alfred and the battle mistress Tesni...who we must have left back at Odmin's... uh, ooops! "
  19. Nur stood to say his goodbyes. "I will now take my my leave, Odmin. Enjoy the rest of your day." He returned his attention to the dark dwarf. "Are you ready to return to the Bakery? I can escort you." Nur and Alfred attempt to leave the store with Figgle. He heads East towards the Bakery but gets distracted and stops at Fodmin's Armory.
  20. "What is the origin of this animosity, territory? Lack of resources? Are you all not Orrik's children?"
  21. "I am En Sabah Nur, a visitor to this underground realm. Your brother mentioned you were missing when I stopped by Samwerk's shop earlier. I told him I'd keep an eye out for you while I conducted my business in town. Curious...he said you were dark skinned but I had pictured one with a skin tone similar to my own. Was not expecting a dark dwarf. Tell me how you came to be with your adopted family. Recalling the tale will help you sober up."
  22. "This one's brother showed me kindness and I thought to repay him by getting his brother back to work before he's terminated...from his position at the bakery. Not the ending of his life." Nur thought for a moment. "I don't recall where the pirate ventured off to but I know where Ellaria went." He cleared his throat before putting on his best Ellaria impression. "Dumora had the map but I believe the temple is northwest of here."
  23. Another drink in hand somehow, Nur placed his goblet on the ground. I cannot risk a social embarrassment by spilling my drink! The mage reached in his bag for a random vial. He used a Remedy on Figgle "They need you back at work. Wake up!"
  24. Nur had consumed 3 potions before spotting the sleeping dwarf. He nodded to the were-raven. "Take yer time here, Tesni. There are some interesting choices especially for one as well off as you are." Nur chuckled to himself as he'd let the raven know that Tesni was a big spender before walking over to the dwarf in the corner. "Figgle! Wake up lad! Fun's over. They're expecting you back at work! Don't cause your poor brother further embarrassment. Get yer butt up!"
  25. "Oh...my! Custom fitting is quite the service. I wiiiillhmm...take a pair of Flexible Greaves for 50 gold please. I believe I have enough after purchasing those pastries. Oh and if ye noticed, can you tell me which direction the drunken delivery boy ventured? They promised me a few free pastries over at Samwerk's if I managed to recover the boy while conducting my business in town."
