  1. "Hahaha. Choose your own name if ye wish, stone companion. In the meantime, I'll call you Alfred. Auntie where will you go, Vega perhaps? You can come to Eubric Freeport with us, if ye'd like. We need to head back to the Tower before the few that went inside notice I'm no longer outside."
  2. Nur's eyes twinkled as the corners of his mouth nearly reached his ears due to his grin. " Wonderful. Very impressive m'lady. Here Seneschal, wear these Robes of the Necromancer. I...mayneedthatbacklater. Let us give 'im a test, ya? Tell me what you know of the origins of a witch from these parts named Barbariccia Dellamore? And...Seneschal, tell me how many golems are still in The Tower of Babel and how fast do you think we can get them out? My friends intend to destroy the Tower." His inaction at Swisshopper's shop still brought about recurring uncomfortable feelings for Nur. He knew the rocklings were in trouble but at the time, he couldn't act without more information and without making things worse. Golems weren't the same as rocklings but perhaps saving them would relieve his discomfort.
  3. Watching what's listed below

  4. A single drop of nervous sweat slid down the right side of Nur's face from the top of his moistened brow. "Erm, Auntie...How offended would ye be if I retracted my offer..heh...heh? This arm is functional as is and like you said it's not too bad looking." Nur gives his arm a flex then moves to put it around Auntie's shoulder. "You know, I'd much rather like to see you work your wondrous magic and create a body for the Seneschal and...have it serve a new master. Perhaps followed up with a decamon match? I am supposed to be on guard duty for my companions but I left the compentent furry lass in charge so I have plenty of time. I feel there is so much I could learn from you." En Sabah Nur grinned.
  5. "My father did mention a bit of dwarf in our ancestry, I don't think rockling would be too far a stretch. I do have an affinity for headwear..." Nur became more serious. "I was feeling over confident in battle and tried a new spell. I had merely wished to encase my arms in stone that I could elongate a short distance to deliver devastating punches. My unfamiliarity and overuse of the spell resulted in my current condition."
  6. "A...perfect...minion..." Nur's mind raced with the possibilities. It reminded him of his disappointment at the temporary nature of the Lamps of Summoning. It continued by showing him the unpredictability and brevity of evoked spirits before giving him a possible preview of the future. A golem of his own would provide him perfect cover to cast spells from or practice his throwing safely. It would carry out any task including collecting monies owed from debtors, fetching items just out of reach, wreaking havoc on those who'd wronged him, pinning targets down for the mage to...it was all so beautiful. But Nur knew such a creation would elicit cries from the smaller minded public of him becoming even more powerful and he was all for looking out for the greater good even if it meant sacrificing his happiness. Or maybe his mind was still confounded from being commanded to wait outside the Tower when he had all the bombs. "Auntie Cinnabar, I'd like you to have the Senechal's 'heart' to do with what you please in exchange for a weeee favor." En Sabah Nur raised his arm turned to stone, any illusionary enchantment removed so that the rocky appearance was clearly visible. "If you could do something about me arm? Perhaps another bath in your magic mud would restore my normal arm for good."
  7. "Not quite. I have something perhaps you'd be interested in?" Nur presents the Golem's Heart. "I am sure you can discern its origins."
  8. "Sooo...Wally. You have things covered here." En Sabah Nur switches back to his regular attire, putting on the Sedge Hat and equipping the Magic Mirror. "I wish to revisit the geomancer. Perhaps she'll indulge me in a rematch." He attempts to head back to the Mud Pit. Nur had something Cinnabar might be interested in, and it wasn't a deck of cards.
  9. En Sabah Nur raises a finger to object but pauses, closes his opened mouth and lowers his finger.
  10. OoC: Khorne and Pyro are off for a bit. I don't mind waiting until they get back for their character input to continue unless you're anxious to finish the quest. En Sabah Nur holds up a section of the garment with each hand. With nose scrunched, he gingerly takes a quick sniff and recoils so hard he feels a little pain in his neck. Must have been the megablocks end because it smells like the crease of a yeti's sweaty backside. "I fear I have not the strength to wear such a robe. It is too encumbering for my fragile frame." Nur puts on the Cobra Nemes. Witches. They're all about mind control and poisoning. He also puts on the Fire Amulet. The Magic Mirror collides briefly with the golem's heart as it enters the mage's bag. Hmph, I can not use spells on you in this place. What to do with you in the mean time...?
  11. OoC: Cool. Nur stowed the heart, a cheshire grin upon his face. He turned in time to see Althior reach the threshold. "Hey Althior, is it safe for us to go in? Should check for-Hold on, I...am coming up." He makes his way up the stairs. Nur uses his magnifying glass on the floor then points it up to the ceiling without crossing the door's threshold. "We got lucky with door but it doesn't mean the interior is not protected. Of course I'm too afraid to stick my head in far enough to check the walls ."
  12. En Sabah Nur remains in the background as his companions make their way towards the Tower's innards. He stands over the naked Seneschal and attempts to remove a circular cylinder shaped piece that ended in a conical frustum. With the other golems animated by dark magic, the Seneschal provided the only chance to study how to create and animate anthropomorphic beings as real geomancers seem a little stingy when it comes to sharing their knowledge. Evoking spirits was as close as he could get at the moment but Nur wanted a mindless drone that would be present at all times and he could command fully. He did not want a creature that returned to its own plane of existence whenever it felt like it. These summons would often explode and return to their homes during combat or when they felt danger has passed. That was no longer acceptable for En Sabah Nur.
  13. "I require healing, Druid. We don't know what kind of wards protect this place. It is best for us to enter to determine the best locations for bomb placement."
  14. Nur does nothing from the back row.
  15. Nur tries to tap his target again. He attacks the Seneschal from the back row with the Poisonous Rod.
  16. En Sabah Nur tries again to sneakily attack the Seneschal with his Poison Rod from the back row.
  17. Nur puts on his Sedge Hat from the back row.
  18. Nur lets his water spell splash harmlessly to the ground. "Alright. This'll be more fun anyway." He grins and attacks the Seneschal from the back row with his Poisonous Rod.
  19. "Thank you, Walbartan." En Sabah Nur jealously looked upon Althior's cadre of rock men before he continued with his water bending. He focused his water spell on Feldspar Golem from the back row.
  20. As Walbartan hovers over him with healing hands, Nur manages to sit up long enough to fling a water spell at Copper Golem from the back row.
  21. Still on the ground, En Sabah Nur finds himself in the back row. "I will comply by throwing a blind faith bomb."
  22. OoC: lol Nur approaches Sarge and gently pats him on the back of the shoulder. "That's alright, Aged One. I too sometimes forget where I am." Suddenly a pulse of intense pain emanates from...every part of his body. Nur sits on the ground with knees bent and his arms back, supporting his weight. "I have another one of those blinding bombs. If we-" He coughs. "If we focus on those golems that have exhibited non-damaging special abilities, we should be able to take some down while also giving us a decent chance to recover our strength." Nur winces from the pain. "We should be able to spare this final bomb but my ability to count might be a bit impaired at the moment. Even if we can't spare it, we'll just have to find another way to down the Tower." I really need to seek employment at this place. These golems are astounding. I must learn to create them!
  23. Nur's hand hovers over his phoenix incense a moment when he notices the golems have separated enough for him to retrieve his Unlucky Horseshoe. Once in hand, the mage throws it at Sand Golem from the back row. "Althior, do you have enough ether to revive Sarge?"
  24. Nur looked to his pack. Did he even really want to destroy this magnificent tower? He throws a Blind Faith Bomb from the back row. "No worries fellows, if Walbartan fails in her duties, I shall revive ye as soon as I can." Nur drinks a grand potion from the back row.
  25. That was an impressive earth shake. Nur looked to his teammates hiding and licking their wounds. He needed to help buy them some time to recover. Time to roll the dice! En Sabah Nur consumed a Smelling Salts from the back row then cast a water spell at Jade Golem from the back row.
