  1. "Last round friend. My comrades seem ready to go. 10 gold on Water."
  2. "Let me play in your last two rounds, Mr. U'Toolen. 10 on Wind and 20 on Earth."
  3. Sheesh. I wouldn't want to be indebted to her. Maybe I should give him a break. "Ah yes. More vampires. I hadn't considered the possibility of encountering them again. Here, take it as a gift and keep your blade." En Sabah Nur handed Boomingham 20 gold (380-20=360) . A diamond shall be mine again and I will sell it for over 200 gold! "Aye, we could investigate but the cyclops might need a bit of convincin'. You know how he likes to keep us extremely focused and on task."
  4. Nur's left eyebrow rose as he watched the winged creature's reaction to his master's words. He glanced at Jess then back to Boomingham and smiled. "Of course my friend. Perhaps my coins shall improve your luck at the table. Might I carry one of your blades as collateral? The diamond enhanced one perhaps?" OoC: Worth a shot, heh heh
  5. This is the best advice given so far. I know it's what I do when I see those posts. For the future, you can keep a list of what players/characters you'll refuse to quest with or QM for. Just stick it out the rest of the quest and ignore their conversations. You can also beg the PLs to split the party and put them together so they'd be in their own PM world. This isn't mafia so I'm team Captain JP. Fight!Fight!Fight!
  6. "Hey, did you all see that? Those two have adhered to each other." *shuffle*shuffle* Earth Blue and Black papers - Shield folder Red papers and Grey papers - Ship folder Tan and Royal Blue papers - Lightning Bolt folder
  7. @Sarick, don't listen to those orcs! Fight! Fight! Fight!
  8. "Don't believe in luck? Preposterous. For some reason I believe in it. How else can one explain the good fortune of those you dislike?" EDIT: *shuffle*shuffle* Royal Blue and Grey papers - Shield folder Earth Blue and Black papers - Ship folder Tan and Red papers - Lightning Bolt folder
  9. Hehe I'll do it if you both get out at the same time. Yeah, my inactivity was busy schedule. I just didn't say anything, oops. Haha. Good luck in player vs. player all.
  10. "Let me assist you if I may." Nur's eyes widened a little as he passed the elf. "I just can not get over the size of that hair, Jess. With a portable bush on your head to hide in, I can see why it's easy for you to sneak up on your targets. Good luck in your game of chance."
  11. Then what is your proposed solution for keeping each character's construct individually customized? With the gems, a player can make his or her construct a damage soak, damage dealer, a support to aid party, or balanced. It's an expert class, things should get somewhat harder for QMs as the game progresses. Still don't understand the problem but it's not my game. I'm just trying to play in it.
  12. Very cool. I too would like it better if the engineer couldn't attack at all. I don't understand the suggestions to remove the gems. A player collects as many gems as they can/want then get to level 30, unlock this class and their gems are now useless?
  13. Nur gave a curt nod and made his way to the piece of parchment hanging from the wall in the corner while Boomingham talked to the minotaur. Not speaking to anyone in particular, he wondered aloud. "What type of investment was made to acquire this scroll?" He hoped the U'kin would provide an answer.
  14. OoC: Yes, Nur normally would attack from front row with dagger but it wouldn't have any effect against the undead as it's a normal blade. I'll deduct an ether as if I cast a spell if that's ok. Nur sat down exausted. "Phew. I'm beat." He watched Jess embrace Haldor. Hm, must be nice. Next time I'm at the training grounds I should give my earthly summon a more feminine appearance...
  15. Nur smirked at the vampire's comment. Despite his ether running low, he redirected the pooling water into another spell, repeating his attack.
  16. As he slid the bat from his dagger Nur saw that his comrades had Victoria taken care of. He took his cloak and wiped the gore from his blade before turning his attention back to Victor Vampire Hunter. He prepared a water spell from the back row.
  17. On his way to attack the huntress, the low flying and clearly dazed Summoned Bat C flew into Nur's path. He swung at it from the front row with his Stealth Dagger. "Damn pests."
  18. "Let me have a go at her. Victoria Vampire Huntress, may I have this dance?" Nur attacks from the back row with an earth spell.
  19. Still troubled by the fact the party should have minded their own business and his friend's strange offer and inability to attack, Nur had confused his target. He'd lost heart for the fight before it had truly began. As the mage contemplated fleeing from the encounter, he unenthusiastically prepared another water spell at Victor Vampire Hunter from the back row. OoC: Jess repeats her attack! :-P
  20. "My apologies Victor Vampire Hunter for the interruption of your honeymoon. It seems this disagreement has gotten out of hand. I bet those priests liked to fondle young boys anyway." Nur shrugged then cast a water spell from the back row.
  21. Nur's look of digust faded. He lowered his eyes and shook his head. "You're gonna have to ask your elf for assistance. I refuse to be a part of this." The mage wondered exactly what the shaman training had done to his friend.
  22. Nur composed himself. It must have been the tournament food that disagreed with him. Yeah, the food... "Sounds like now's your chance to get rid of that flying rat that always follows you around, Boomingham."
  23. Taste...in her...mouth...? Oh dear. Nur's complexion turned a shade of sand green.
  24. Bounty eh? "We might be of assistance. What is the description of your quarry? Perhaps we have run into your target and could point you in the right direction." Or in the opposite direction.
