  1. I personaly think that PF is better for E locomotives and Diesel locomotives. I find it not so good for steam locomotives especially for a tank engine. But that's personal preference I use both but I have more 9V so I use 9V more
  2. Well The Mbs and the STAR are my favorite museum railways there is one train museum (with a lot of dutch steam locomotives but they don't any of them opperational sadly ) The STAR has a building with big words MUSEUM were the history is of the line and the MBS has some locomotives on display. Museumrailways try to give you the impression of how it was back in those days I think some of them do that very well. and also I would like someone to take on the TE 5933 I would like it to do it my self but i feel to build up some experience with smaller steam locomotives and building techniques. Greetings, Pief
  3. Well I have 2 dutch railway museums for you first one The most imported for me the MuseumBuurtSpoorweg (http://www.museumbuurtspoorweg.nl) there I saw a steam locomotive for the very first time and there my love for them started. there they have quite a collection of small steam locomotives. The second one is the one near me. It's The STAR (StichtingStadskanaalrail)(http://www.stadskanaalrail.nl/).It's the longest museumrailway in the Netherlands. They have a beautiful steam locomotive the TŠ-5933 is a Ex german Br52 but was left behind in Russia after WWII
  4. Whel I understand the problem for extra train sets but what if they do 5 Hopper wagons in one? What I also like to see from TLG is that they make an depot for steam locomotives with a turntable roundhouse watertower coal crane. I think that would be interesting but a huge train station would be cool
  5. TLG should do make models of real trains and they shouldn't put the lego railways stickers on them but the stickers of the railways where the trains are rollin make a model of a BR01 or a big boy and sell it and the city sets should be a circle and a cargo or passanger train or buy mutible carriages like a hopper cart and not have a container car and a oil cart and some other carriage with a loco
  6. hmm interesting I tried to build a NS style Koploper passenger coaches but it didn't work out very well but that's part of the learning process but I like the details under the coaches
  7. I saw your video of the valve gear and I directly started building my own and now that I saw you used some costum pieces I thought that's why that sticks out but great locomotive looks very smooth
  8. This is just a really detailed moc It's just amazing
  9. I'm form the netherlands but I am not so impress of the steam locomotives and it's hard to see a real one in action but I like the dutch diesel like the NS 2200 as a big diesel and the Sik or locomotor NS 200-369 as a small shunting or cargo locomotive
  10. What I like to see is a very special steam locomotive the TE-5933. it's not the normal Br52 because afther the war it went to russia and was moddified there not the TE-5933 is the only one who can drive now from it's special group of locomotives. But another Br like a 01, 23 64 are also good. In short it's a 2-10-0 locomotive (german BR52) It's a really beautiful locomotive so find some pictures on google.file://localhost/Users/jacco/Desktop/STAR.jpg
