    The more I think about the "Pirate Ship Ambush" set the more optimistic I become about sets including Minas Tirith, Balrog,... I think we will get the most important characters and scenes from the movies in Lego sets because we also got the pirate ship (which isn't really the most important scene)

    In some cases it is also cheaper to buy bricks directly from TLG! The DS II is probably the best set to start if you are new to Bricklink.

    Don't get me wrong! Apart from that I am very happy with Amazon and I will order form them again! I was only curious if this is new. Maybe this was the wrong thread

    I ordered the set directly from Amazon. Normally I don't really care about the boxes but sometimes (UCS, gifts) they are important!

    I think it would be more profitable for TLG to sell sets. But in this case the minifigures are far more imporant than the sets for me. (Normally the sets are as important as the minifigures for me)

    Today I received a set from Amazon and they put an invoive bag at the front of the Lego box. Of course, it was impossible to get rid of the bag without damaging the box (it has some scratches). Is this new?

    Bricklinking a set can be cheaper than buying a retired set. If you want a SSD you should buy it now because this set will probably retire at the end of the year! At the moment you can find this set (sealed) on Bricklink for less than 350 €!

    A few days ago I received the 10188 Death Star and 9516 Jabba's Palace. I never understood why the Death Star is so popular but now I do. It is amazing

    I reall hope we will get the Mos Eisley Cantina soon. The first one was cute but it wasn't really a bar.

    If we don't get a third LOTR wave then iconic characters/locations aren't very important for TLG. But I think we will get both ;-)

    A fourth wave would be great. Otherwise it seems difficult to include the most important characters/locations.

    I asked the Lego Customer Service if the MF will be produced in 2014. They didn't say yes or no but they said it seems likely.

    I hope there will be more than three waves! I think LOTR has a lot more potential!
