  1. That figures. "That's a good point. I'd save yours for a rainy day. I think the one blast will take 'em all out. And with luck, none of us along with it..."
  2. Unless he shows up and would like to do differently, could I suggest that William attack Galen and Nerwen? Less free hits and no opportunity for Sarick's Magic Burst.
  3. My rings are still good despite reenacting scenes with them for god knows how long but my old Fantasy Era stuff is beginning to wear. Most of it's not even chrome, but the dwarven helmets and axes and one of the tattoos on the elite trolls has been peeling awful quick.
  4. It'll end the battle a lot quicker. Constance is gonna have constant healin', and she'll decimate us with any attacks, even Cronk. I wanna finish this quick as we can."
  5. "I assumed the rest of us would take out the rest of them, leavin' no free hits to be dealt. But I s'pose if you prefer..." Cronk Tarn William Nyx De'kra Felton Atramor
  6. I might be biased, I'm seriously considering taking the class when the opportunity comes up, but I would love if they were actual items. A lot of them wouldn't be helpful, say, in the beginning of battle, and like you said, it would add a lot to strategy to use them when needed. Plus, Instant Items would be a lot more beneficial.
  7. "Er, yeah, that might be helpful." Tarn William Nyx De'kra Felton Atramor Cronk
  8. I was looking at Alchemist, and something occurred to me - are the effects of Mixture instant when the Shield is rolled, or are they actual consumables to be used in battle? The concept of the class had me thinking the latter at the first, but now I'm not sure.
  9. "Assumin' neither of 'em drops the bomb....Cronk, Nyx, can ya'll pile on Constance with De'kra? You're our strongest, and can take a hit without a problem." Atramor whips Ratsbane from his side, the cruel dagger glittering even in the dim Dastan moon, and jabs at Xander from the front row. Tarn William Nyx De'kra Felton
  10. Those bombs do 30 damage to the enemy party and 10 damage to the friendly party, ignoring SP/Row. One hit knockout.
  11. Atramor, standing at the forefront of his party, chuckles as they all try and strategize, arms crossed casually, looking more ready for to sit down and have a cup of rum than he was to fight. "How about we 'ave Tarn (or Will) just drop a little partin' gift we got from one of Wren's henchmen and call it a battle, eh...?" OOC: :devil_laugh: So...how exactly does this work? Do we (Team Felton) wait until Round One has ended before putting in our actions? I think that would make the most sense, I don't want to miss a healing opportunity and losing a teammate because of it. Also, I should only have 21 health as a result of the Drink of Zoot.
  12. I don't see it that way. It's a player's choice between roleplaying and EXP - if the character calls for it, sometimes you can have both. And I have a feeling this isn't going to be a one-sided battle, in any case.
  13. About the same time Alf started riding dragons, possibly.
  14. Reason for continuing to fight? One word: EXP.
  15. I like it. It's like the one in WBD's quest, but you get to choose between the effects rather than having to wield it as a weapon. Quest 27 has had some of the most interesting drops so far.
  16. I have to agree here. But keep Barty as a disgraced angel or something.
  17. I think Fight to the Death should also include 'While the enemy is focused on the Swashbuckler, its SP is reduced to 0' or something to that effect. Also, yes, Counter should include taking gold (I called it Counterthief, I think Chaos Defender has it too), but at the cost of Duelist.
  18. I like the idea, but it does seem unnecessarily powerful. Juggernauts struck me as defenders, not attackers, having both at such extremes in one class is a little too much in my mind. I like how they always have to go for the strongest opponent, though. Maybe less powerful hits, or a removal of the counters?
  19. "I'm sick of hearin' people whining 'bout the good of Dastan. Ya'll act like you're the damn gods in this desert. You hire us to save you and by failin' once you try an' kick us out. Ya' know what? Let's screw Dastan just for a second. Forget all that noble blood junk. You're just too bloody proud for help. You're not even defendin' yourself against us, you want to prove the skills you're always yappin' on about. I say; bring on every Dragon Knight you've got, and we'll show you why people call Heroica to stop holes in the desert like this from destroyin' themselves. Everything is against you, you don't have a chance of escaping. The 50 gold is worth putting you down."
  20. Congrats, Pandora. May your burn lots of pink into the eyes of unsuspecting forumgoers.
  21. "...No promises, my friend. If anyone's foolish enough to the point of sidin' with Constance, I won't have no trouble with puttin' them in their place. McCafferey gazed down at De'kra from her perch on Atramor's shoulder, before resuming gazing at the rest of the recent addition to their team.
  22. "Constance said the whole reason she was there was to pick up her sword, which Thothwick was carryin'. The first thing she asked when we came to after the battle was who was to die 'cause of our failure. As for Phil...he said he had worried. I still trust him."
  23. If it's not consumed on use, doesn't it count as an artifact?
  24. I like it. It's based on 1-1 fights, and gets more intense as time passes (with the hastened effect and gaining more power from defeated enemies.) If I could make a recommendation, I think you should use Special Dodge. (50/50 chance to hit another party member on a special damage.) It'll really round off the selfish jackass style of the class.
