  1. "Nyx, I don't think you should attack. There's 15 guys upstairs waitin' to ambush ya'll, they're sending this guy down to distract you. Let Alexandre take the free hit from the back row while you guys move, otherwise you'll get decimated next round."
  2. So it's been less than 2 days, and the heroes of Quest 39 are already plotting against the person they're supposed to be saving. How do you do it, Zepher?
  3. Nobody's first game should have such a fine line between mafia game and massacre.
  4. For 63, definitely.
  5. "Okay. Alright. I think Phil might be right...Thothwick, I think you should stay with Cronk and mop up Blackenord and the Chimeras. When you're done, the group can split up between fighting Roland, Loren, and rescuing Ella."
  6. Atramor grumbles as Vipera relays the pounding of unholy footsteps in Septrine's bathroom. "Scratch that...some of ya'll should go intercept those Chaos Beasts quick. Neron, they're everywhere...."
  7. So...U'Vires was supposed to live, huh?
  8. He's got you there. Maybe Sarick could conjure a bunch of spikes sticking out of the bottom?
  9. Marking the Favored enemy triples damage, not doubles, so I think Skrall should do 161 against Russel. Cronk's Miss should be counted as Meditate, and I think the Chimera Guard's free hit should go to Cronk, not to me. Even though I moved rooms, he's higher up on the battle order. Atramor rushes forward into the throne room, staring intently down the hall as a storm of footsteps seems to form overheard. He spares a glance backward, however, quickly noticing he and Tarn are being trailed. "Tarn, you mind hackin' the bastard up real quick? You'll finish him in a single strike if you're lucky. Alright, so Nyx, Luke, Galen, and Alexandre should move north this round, as well as Knyghton. All of you who just arrived in the entrance corridor, I highly suggest continuing to move west, because Roland and his guards are about to get into the hall."
  10. I had fun playing too. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to do so.
  11. I think enemies that are untargeted are the only ones who can flee. Beaten to it. "Good to have ya' with me, Tarn. Lion's Heart will come in serious handy if one of 'em tries to make off with the Emperor or Nikolai."
  12. Agreed. Bad claim. Always go psychiatrist.
  13. You're telling me. If people are gonna whine about a heal in the middle of battle, they're going to have get themselves knocked out first.
  14. "That's why Nyx's team should be the one defending Alandri. Me, Knyghton, and Phil can keep Septrine safe, I think."
  15. I really like these changes. Necromancer looks more like its own class rather than just a buffed Sage, while the Prophet's meditation makes it a much more appealing class for any ether user.
  16. "I personally think ya'll should back up into Alandri's wing. Even if they slip past you and grab Alandri, you'll be able to fry whoever gets him on his way out. Me, Phil, and Knyghton could make a stand with Septrine, along with whoever else comes along from the entrance. I have little doubt the Lions'll split up."
  17. These classes are very back-to-the-basics, but quite powerful nonetheless. Maybe change the Prophet's rolls to effect all allies or enemies, and then make the Shield deal elemental damage and heal? It might be a bit too powerful, but like JimB said it's like a Necromancer minus the necro in its current state. Or maybe just give them a job trait that allows them to heal allies without costing them a turn?
  18. Atramor surprises himself with his own reflexes - the renegade U'kin had barely pulled the trigger when a wall of ether shimmered to life right in front of the witch. The bullet fizzled inches in front of it anyway, courtesy of Cronk's angel, but Atramor most certainly wasn't done. There was revenge to be attended to. With a snarl, he flung his hand out at U'Vires, an exact copy of the projectile, in sharp orange, flew out of the shield. The assassin leader went stiff as the bullet punched right through his nose, and as the wall dissolved, all Atramor did was cackle with fulfilled vengeance as the rogue politician hit the floor. In all honesty, it was easily one of the most satisfying kills in his career of a hero. Many faces seemed to apply the body strewn in front of him, for some odd reason. Wren...XX....Althior...Thothwick....hmph. If only those people would be ended as quickly as had U'Vires. Heroes or not, these people were starting to aggravate him... "Eventually." "Shut up, I didn't ask you. That's for several people and your crappy drinks." He spits on the blood-stained corpse, and turns to his party. With a blink, however, his face goes a bit pale. "Er...mates, I won't be as nearly as powerful against these machines and this particular bastard, my dagger's more suited to...well...rats. You've got another party comin' in to help, so I think I'll get a headstart north to help the others. Once ya' clean up these guys, though, don't send too many to follow me, or Roland'll slip off." Turning on his heel, Atramor darts off towards the great hall, McCafferey flapping in pursuit.
  19. Cronk's light-imbued weapon deals double damage to Demons, so Chimera Guard A should be dead. Also, I think my Special Mirror should've killed U'Vires. I'm posting this here so I don't make a full OOC post in-thread, and I'm too tired to take advantage of this roleplaying opportunity right now. True QM devotion right there.
  20. "Aye, Skrall's right on pretty much every count. Knyghton should probably be headin' north. We won't take any free hits this round anyway." I think the rounds are automatically played every 24 hours. Could we go with WBD's suggestions on actions, perhaps? On the grounds that people are probably a little bit less likely to get slaughtered next round that way?
  21. Rugged rogue with a tragic past and some abnormality? Sounds normal to me.
  22. I don't think Isabella's in the same room as us. And Rumble's right, Tarn should've only taken 4 damage. "Er, mates....maybe we should start breakin' off north next round. 6 heroes against the bulk of the rogue knight army aren't fantastic odds, and with Thothwick's reinforcement's they can handle these guys easy."
  23. Helm's Deep first, without question. Wait for a sale if you can, at least for Moria.
  24. Atramor grumbles at his failure to hex U'Vires, but his eyes light up upon the sight of Cronk's angel. McCafferey merely eyes the divine being with contempt. "Nobody hold back! The Chimera guards look content to deal free hits rather than moving into the palace, so I think we could focus on Blackenord and U'Vires this round." That in mind, Atramor again lunges furiously at U'Vires from the front row, using Ratsbane.
