  1. And they only do 5 damage anyway? Crap. Atramor peels his face from the ground as Lion Commander B stands vacantly as battle rages all around him. Grumbling, he stands, swaying a bit. "Well...that...didn't exactly go as planned. Alright, er....Nyx, perhaps you should take a second and smack yourself with the Healing Staff, it's the most effective healing any of us have. Thothwick, I suggest reviving William, who should take out 2 of the Pikemen for us. I'm gonna heal Tarn from the back row...who I suggests take out another Pikeman. Phil, I recommend Rogue Lion Commander A from the back row, I don't want ya' gettin' knocked out or killed. Thothwick, I'm gonna trust you to take a free hit from Lyons, if you're in the back row you'll survive, I'll heal ya' in a moment, and I think William should go second and third, he'll be fully healed and in the back." Atramor hurriedly waves his hands around. Nothing happens for a moment, due to lack of ether, but eventually they flare up a bright orange, and he attempts to heal Tarn from the back row. Sorry if I'm being too bossy. Just trying to fix my screw-up. Oh, that was only 15 minutes, should've merged. Ah, well. Shouldn't Rogue Knight Commander B be Cursed?
  2. Shoot, bombs take defense into account?
  3. Just sounds like a clue to me.
  4. Thanks GRogall!! Dwalin looks a lot better from up close, but I don't think Bombur has any printing.
  5. Sort of, but don't rely on it, it could easily be Little Red or the Bride.
  6. So you want the price to be boosted 50 bucks for 15 minifigs? TLG's being realistic, they can't do every dwarf in one set.
  7. I hope it's at least dark tan.
  8. Just look for the visor.
  9. "Phil, do ya' mind helping me out with the second commander?"
  10. "If you're the one takin' the free hit, I don't care who you target. In any case, don't count on my healing skills either. I think I burned the words from that scroll of sealing into my head, and there's still a good chance I'll fail."
  11. "Phil's right here, mate-" Atramor points to Phil. "-and neither of us hits eachother if I roll Special Damage. His special is encouraging all of his guys, I get to copy that. And...I don't exactly have a ton of ether to spare. Plus, I could deal some serious damage poisoning the commaners." "Hey, since Will's gonna get killed no matter who he targets if he rolls damage, we could use him to prevent a free hit from Lyons."
  12. "Nyx, you're sort of the only one here who won't get instantly knocked out if you roll a Damage or Special Damage targeting him...unless you want to take the free hit. And no, if I roll a Special Damage, all of his guys get encouraged, but so do all of us because I'm a Witch."
  13. "ACTUALLY - back up a minute. We can wipe out all the Pikemen if William uses a Bomb XX, Thothwick use a Floral, and Tarn uses his Holy. Me, Nyx, and Phil will all be able to prevent the Commanders and Lyons from getting a free hit. And one of us could revive William next round. He's half dead right now anyway."
  14. "Aye, but the guy's is apparently immune to venom -bastard-, and 3 health per round ain't much. Plus, if this commander ends up getting a special damage, my witchiness will encourage all of you guys too. In which case we can pound the hell out of Lyons."
  15. Another one just for fun. Gambler Additional Health: +8 These slick thieves win their battles through strategy and cunning. Weapons: Gamblers use smaller blade and blunt weapons, like daggers, throwing weapons, whips, clubs, and maces. Job Traits: Greed - Gamblers' charm and slick words grants them a 30% (rounded down) discount to any item/service in any shop/merchant they come across, Flee (Rogue), Diplomacy (Knight) Battle Style: Greedy - Gamblers squeeze every last coin out of their opponents at all costs. 1. SHIELD: Bribery - The Gambler pays off his target with gold equal to twice the target's level. The target is put under the control of the Gambler, and fights with the heroes for the remainder of the quest or until killed. (For the target, 1. Shield - Special Skill, 2. Critical Hit - Deals damage equal to twice its level, 3. Hit - Deals damage equal to its level, 4. Miss, 5. Damage, 6. Special Damage.) 2. CRITICAL LARCENOUS HIT: The Gambler attacks the opponent with power equal to two times their weapon power added to their level. The Gambler also has a 1/6 chance to steal gold equal to the amount of damage dealt. ((WP: 15 x 2) + 30 = 60 damage, 1/6 chance to steal 60 gold) 3. LARCENOUS HIT: The Gambler attacks the opponent with power equal to their weapon power added to their level. The Gambler also has a 1/6 chance to steal gold equal to the amount of damage dealt. (WP: 15 + 30 = 45 damage, 1/6 chance to steal 45 gold) 4: RISKY GAMBLE: The Gambler takes a risk, having a 50% chance to acquire either the Lucky effect for the remainder of the battle, or the Fragile effect for the next 3 rounds or until remedied. 5. DAMAGE: The Gambler takes damage equal to the enemy's level. (Level 20 enemy = 20 damage taken). 6. RETALIATION: The Gambler is hit with the enemy's special skill, but in return, the Gambler deals a strike that Stuns the opponent for the next round. ...Though I fear that the shield might be too similar to Necromancer, or perhaps too complicated.
  16. Atramor watches Clara dart up the stairs, and waves the trio that descends towards the palace before the Dragon Knight is executed almost instantly. His knuckles go white as he rips Ratsbane out of its sheath, glaring intently at U'Vires, Wren, and XX, but is quickly distracted by Lyons and the Rogue Knights. With a loud hiss, he drives the dagger towards Rogue Knight Commander B from the front row. "Nyx, I recommend darkness...ing Lyons, you'll blast through that armor like paper!"
  17. "Hello, Clara. Nice helmet. There's a secret tunnel to the market that enemies are about to start pouring out of. We need to get Ella, Mallelio, and the Emperor to the palace, and you need to gather up the Dragon Knights and help us make a stand there."
  18. "Damn it, they're already-?! Agh!!" Atramor spits on the floor in frustration. "They're going to be swarming us from inside the city! We can't seal off every tunnel, we don't even know where they are.....you're right. The palace. I think Cronk and his guys are already in there, Skrall and Arthur are fightin' them off from the outside...it's our best chance." He pauses, glances around, and inconspicuously slides a spare lockpick to Felton through the bars on the floor with his foot. "If they get here before we do...try and make a break for it, mate. I'm ready to head off. And, er....sorry about the mess you're in." McCafferey squawks quietly on his shoulder, unknowingly amused by the turning of events. But not surprised.
  19. Gandalf, Dwalin, Bombur, Bofur, Bilbo, Balin.
  20. I'm just assuming because I doubt they would pick different figs from different sets to display them this way. And in my mind, they've picked some of the most iconic (appearance-wise) dwarves to put in it.
  21. On another note, these figures all look like they'll be part of one set, and Bilbo's in his casual clothing. I bet these are all from a Bag End set.
  22. I bet it's all just a TV show...
  23. Argh. You're right. Should've seen the clues... "Tunnels...dammit. It's always the simplest way, ain't it? Hmm...we need to find these tunnels, then."
  24. Nice review. The best castle ever released, in my mind.
