  1. Unreal. I absolutely love the idea, and the execution is just gorgeous. The pub itself is very attractive, but I can't help but get distracted by all the little details that you've stuffed into what would be just rock landscape. The sharks, IMHOTEP's cave, the spring, and by far the waterfall are all what really draw my eye. I'm hardly surprised you guys won best small building, after looking at this fantastic MOC.
  2. "It takes a turn to swap items, mate, for both people. Maybe if De'kra used his Remedy on ya', then you can give the Scroll to Nyx. As for targetting, none in particular, unless ya' wanna use Helbaraend to do double damage on XX, though Stunned enemies would help a hell of a lot."
  3. Judging by their cloaks, Red Assassins sound even worse. Maybe an eternal rivalry of some kind?
  4. I've seen Atramor's face used like 4 times, once with his actual torso, it's no big deal.
  5. Exactly. The majority of enemies in Heroica are Humanoids, so it'd probably be useful.
  6. You could imbue it in your bow, but I believe it costs around 50 gold. If you don't want to wait, Amethysts are the most sought-out gem, though, so I'm sure you'll get a good price if you try to sell it in the hall.
  7. Indeed it is very researched, though I'm fairly Quest 16 was the Paladin Conquest, where the heroes defended the tower/Blessed effect. This was a really nice read, I'm looking forward to the next, and already considering topics I could write an article of as well. I also think you should add something in about the Battle (or the trilogy in general) of Dastan, it's really revolutionary as far as scale goes.

  9. One round 'til absolute hell in Dastan. I can't believe we're gonna be going into it at almost completely full health after 20 rounds of combat. Ether's another story.
  10. Atramor leans against the double doors of the palace, panting slightly as the other heroes swarm into the entrance corridor. Feet continue to pound against the floor as the Lions start charging. He spits on the ground, straightening up, pushing several dreadlocks out of his face, clearly rather tired, but nonetheless determined. "Nyx or Alexandre, could ya' Remedy Tarn? De'kra, I suggest you do the same so you'll be able to attack from the front. I'm gonna try to heal Tarn, Luke, I suggest doing so to Knyghton, and Nerwen, you should likely patch up your winged friend here. Everyone else, do whatever the hell you need to do to get ready. This is gonna be the utmost last stand here, I believe. In a couple minutes, we're either gonna be flattened, bloodless corpses while these Lion bastards take complete control of Dastan, or we'll be prying loot abound outta their lifeless hands and be renowned as the saviors of this whole damn country."
  11. Yeah, I love it when there's a brief lull in the number of quests, but all the heroes just spend their time socializing and chatting like normal friends. Granted, Atramor's the one you have to quest to get to know somewhat properly, but it's fun to see the more social heroes doing it as well, it adds a lot more to the hall than just the place to 'get quests, get gear, and get drunk'.
  12. I don't mean to rush anything, but I'm fairly sure everyone's course of action would pretty much be the same as it was last round, unless someone comes up with some drastic new strategy. I think it'd be fair enough to autoplay the next round, but I can't speak for anyone but myself. "I think we've tried that before, De'kra, but it couldn't hurt to try once we're in the entrance hall."
  13. "No can do, the Lions will slip right out with both Emperors and Nikolai. We have to make a stand in the entrance hall."
  14. ( ) "Arthur, go ahead and Seal Chaos Beast A from the back row."
  15. Scrolls of Confusion are automatic successes, because the effect already has a 50/50 chance of succeeding in making an attempt rebound on another enemy. Atramor continues sprinting south furiously. "Nerwen, any chance ya' could head east? We could seriously use a healer, and Isabella and Xander have more than enough potions for only 2 enemies."
  16. Darkdragon, your description of the Bone Claws kind of clashes with how Tesni's using them, can you clarify how exactly they work? EDIT: I think I understand now, nevermind.
  17. Atramor is so focused on darting away from the Lion Knights and waving his arm through the thick smoke spewed in the throne room that he doesn't notice the cloud of pink paper bursting into existence just ahead of him. He stumbles through it and lands facefirst on the ground, McCafferey flapping away with a squawk. Rubbing his head, the witch notes a Scroll of Blindness rolled up neatly on the floor right in front of where he'd fallen, and a few curly pink letters on the edge: Atramor Gibbin, couresty of Heroica First Anniversary Lottery. He blinks, tucks it into his cloak, grabs his chicken yet again, and continues his mad dash. "Huh. Might come in handy..."
  18. I still think it would've made a great interrogation tool.
  19. I'd stack it with the lightning Warhammer, none of the elements contradict eachother anyway.
  20. Thanks for the raffle, Sandy. Funny, I'll probably actually ending up using the Scroll in the battle I'm in right now. Hooray for Z-Mail!
  21. "Skrall, Arthur's gonna Confuse the Chaos Beast Cronk is attacking this time, he should go first so if Cronk takes damage or special damage it'll have a chance to rebound on one of the others."
  22. Atramor nodded as Alexandre tossed the Smoke Bomb, snatching McCafferey off an empty torch bracket as he sprinted south, to the great hall.
  23. Yay, now I can roleplay it. Lamorak waved his sword, and another Rogue Lion Commander swarmed into the room. Atramor blinked. His eyes flickered a violent orange. The Commander stiffened suddenly, one of his eyes glowing the same, dimly. Lamorak merely glared at the witch, pointing his weapon at Atramor, obviously intending the Commander to attack. The rogue grit his teeth, maintaining the unnatural connection of ether as he sought to overcome the Rogue Lion - he began shaking, dropping his sword, grasping either side of his head, falling to his knees. His unwavering loyal devotion to help bring the Lions back to glory, and Atramor's attempts to twist his mind seemed to clash; and with a clunk as his helmet hit the floor, he fell forward, lying motionless on the ground, blood seeping from his mouth. Both the Lion and the witch stared at the crumpled body for several seconds, before the latter shook his head, slipping into the crowd of heroes once again. "That...damn." "That was rather morbidly entertaining, I must admit," snickered McCafferey to Atramor. He shook away this thought as well, though he couldn't help but agree it was satisfying, in a somewhat twisted way. "Skrall, there's 10 of us, I think, which is barely enough to cover the nameless Lions, much less the heavy hitting leaders. If we retreat now, the others will have 3 rounds to finish their opponent and help us, and we'll have an entire round to heal. Aye, I think it'd be prudent if we fled now. And Arthur, I think you should follow Cronk's advice and Confuse Chaos Beast A from the back row."
  24. Why do you think I targeted him? It makes sense to me, but if I'm unable to copy the special damage, could I at least prevent the special from taking place? Also, I don't think Tarn can take damage from the burn because Sentinel is in place, but I'm fairly sure he can next round. "...Alright, mates, this would be a good time to fall the hell back. Alexandre, Smoke Bomb, if ya' can?"
  25. I'm not part of it, but I can say Althior's gonna get kicked while he's down, soon. A lot.
