  1. Jeez, we're running out of spears to mount all these heads on.
  2. Bah. Trying using that method and having to pay 10 gold every time you get a wrong answer.
  3. I'm glad to see Tarn back as well.
  4. Modern pop culture quotes should only be used during final boss battles, if at all.
  5. No, but I'm almost positive you'll throw a battle at them before they even have a chance to heal after the torture.
  6. You forgot the Piercing Jab that came after Frenzy and before Conserve Energy. Just want to make sure the party has a fair chance of surviving.
  7. "Boomin'ham, can ya' throw the Ghost another bone? Nyx, I suggest takin' a break to heal yourself. It's fine, Ellaria, need to focus on healin' for this round anyway..." With that, he again tried to heal Boomingham from the back row.
  8. Awesome. Boomingham's slap nearly sends Atramor spiraling to the floor. Taking a hit for the team was great and all, but why the hell did it keep happening to him? His vision seemed to flicker, but he could see Pain on the verge of collapse as well. "Well....coulda' gone worse...." he mumbled. Their party leader seemed intent on getting himself killed - scraping up the last of his ether. the witch attempted to heal Boomingham from the back row. "Switch the order, make sure I go first."
  9. Just saw Cloud Atlas. Pretty much this.
  10. You probably couldn't keep all of it, but some could be spread out in some of the more quiet gaps between Quests. That sounds awesome, Scuba.
  11. Add in some inter-party conflict?. It's what makes the later Quests so interesting from a characters' angle. Players almost never get along so easily. Or, not every Quest is going to be the same. The action in this Quest is what made it memorable. A group of newbie heroes cracking down on farmland critters couldn't go wrong no matter how you slice it. A greater focus on the action would suffice. Quest 1 was primarily around combat and strategy, Quest 2 around decisions and how to go about getting a job, and Quest 3 ended up being hilarious for roleplaying. More barfights? Not every moment in the hall would have to be cataloged in the media, it'd just have to be trimmed a little. Not down to the bone, though, some of the funniest interaction happens there.
  12. That's the reason I like it. If your characters shine, it's because of good roleplaying, not because they just so happen to be main character - there aren't any. There's no single storyline to follow, the story is the entire world built around Heroica.
  13. It's appearing as a board game in Quest 51.
  14. Atramor hits the ground as Suffering inflicts yet another curse upon the Witch. But if there was anything Atramor knew about magic, it was curses. As horrid green cuts appeared on him, similar cracks appeared in the statue. He cackled, despite the pain, and stood. "Ellaria, not that I doubt your healin' abilities, but could ya' use one of those Elixirs on me? With Rufindel down, I wouldn't mind bein' able to heal as well. Boomin'ham, make sure she goes before me this time." With that, Atramor flung the Heavy Flail at Pain from the back row.
  15. Yeah. but none of the dwarf characters have had much of a background either. Although, I believe a Quest is being planned involving them.
  16. None of the current dwarf characters are active, though, and they're actually underdeveloped as far as lore goes.
  17. You should just leave Gurnam as The One Everyone Loves. He's just awesome.
  18. I'd post an update on Quest 51's sign-ups, but it'd just be summarizing the last two posts.
  19. I suppose it was a reasonable defense. Unvote: Patrekr (Palathadric). At least we're getting somewhere more concrete than taking a chance and praying it's the killer. Vote: Beorn (Bob.) But try and loose these revelations a little earlier next time, Dragmall. We're cutting it pretty close, and not giving the accused an opportunity to speak could cost valuable information if he turns up townie tomorrow.
  20. That would be really cool. Better than yet another female royalty figure, in any case.
  21. I see it now that you describe it - that's pretty cool.
  22. Love it. You really nailed the challenge description, re-using an ancient structure as a camp. Half looks like a ramshackle command center, half looks like a hand-carved city.
  23. Apparently most of the money from the buyout's going to charity. Guess there's more good to this than just more Star Wars movies.
  24. These sound reasonable, except for Treebeard. By the sounds of it he's going to be bigger than the Balrog. I'm also somewhat skeptical of the release date and how you got this information. We rarely get such specific stats (piece count, price, figs) for half of a wave.
  25.
