I thought we had determined Arthur was one of these.

You'll have to kill me first to get it. On an expert class-related note, planning continues for the Quest that offers Marauder. I still have the intention of getting it finished before the end of the year.

It leers over the ship, but Illdria leads a vicious attack on its body, she and Reg leading the way with Actaeon providing covering fire (and then some) and leaving the body bloodied, scales getting dislodged and its seaweed cloak tearing in a hundred different places. Their attack is punctuated with the explosion of the Magpie's cannons. The old harpoon the party recognizes as the one the dying man mentioned proves to be a valuable weak spot. The body slams against the ship, and Red falls to his knees. Briar nervously raises his shield in time to avoid what could've been a fatal blow, and Kiray lobs a deadly fire bomb from behind it, razing the beast save for its armored, rocky body. Mizuki and Francis keep the head busy, while Lane fires a single shot that pierces Kjorfalneire's fin. The monster lashes out against the Magpie and its captain, some planks creaking and the ship tipping sideways even as rain pours down on the heroes. Atramor hit the marketplace on his way out of Heroica Hall. He scooped up McCafferey and now she sat comfortably on his shoulder as usual. He headed over to Anwyl's first, dropping off his assorted Pongcanis weapons for a total of 200 gold. He had the Ruby transferred from his Desert Cloak to the Tiger Claws for 100 gold, bought a Nostrum, and 3 Grand Potions for another 65.
-
Atramor nodded to Skrall and Arthur. "Aye. I'll see ya' both down there."
-
Miderun picked up the cracked bottle.shaking it curiously. "Huh. Hopefully it'll come in handy on this next quest. Thank you, arauznmyr."
-
If the effect-bombs had their costs bumped up to 30 I think it'd be fine. We don't want Blindseal Bombs to be the hottest thing since Mead Nostrum Smelling Salts Cocktails.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
CMP replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
How the hell do you do it LEGO? This set might be the best modular period. -
Miderun frowned underneath her mask and for what felt like the first times in days set down her book we a Fenarian walked past her. A very strange....smell wafted by. She got to her feet and approached Namyrra. "Excuse me. You wouldn't hapen to have any perfume, would you? I've heard about that stuff. I'll give you 100 gold if you have any."
-
I like the loot and the naming is fine, but the suitabilities are so specific they seriously detract from their usefulness. I understand it's to give them more character, but it still damages their value.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 13 Rumours and Discussion
CMP replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Those are the wrong color. I'm loving that goblin hairpiece. Looking forward to the rest. -
Maybe I should just edit it to any class that can cast elemental spells. I'm sure there'll probably be another new expert class with the capability in the future.
-
Thanks everyone. It's pretty much what the entire Quest has been leading up to and I'm glad it doesn't disappoint. I hope the loot doesn't disappoint either.
-
I was worried about it even remotely resembling Kjorfalneire but I think I did a good enough job of it.

Heroica RPG - Quest #114: The Tale of the Sea Fiend

Captain Illdria sipped the offered Nostrum and looked up as rain began sprinkling down from the sky. "Well, this should make things interesting." Down and out came the Magpie's sail. Black rain came down in a violent sheet. Its job was vital: it could not fail. The monstrous sea fiend had to be beat. Cloaked in shadow the beast nearly soared. One hero knew the behemoth's stare. In range, it thrashed and gnashed and roared. The fiend was the ancient Kjorfalneire! PREPARE FOR BATTLE!!! "You guys spend too much time worryin' about the philosophy behind bein' a hero and not enough about actually bein' a damn hero. I'm tryin' my hardest to fix the world, that's good enough for me." Atramor returned to the table with a mug of rum and took a sip as he sat down. "Maybe we do have too much power, but there's no givin' that power back to wherever it came from. Just gotta suck up and do what ya' can."
-
"Met her in the temple. Didn't know she and Tarn were back in Dastan." Atramor scratched his chin with a frown, deep in thought for a minute contemplating his lost friend. Then a grin played across his face. "Well, good to hear someone gets a damn happy ending. Last I heard Haldor and Tesni were in Baltarok. Dyric here might know more, think ya' mentioned you were over there too, aye?" The regulator nodded sideways towards Dyric. "Haven't seen the ape in a while." "I've spent enough time gettin' screwed by the Bonapartes to believe they're doin' anythin' useful. The Guild and the Ziegfrieds are made up of alchemists and mages. No wonder they're rivals. One does whatever it likes with magic with magic for the hell of it, and the other does whatever it likes with alchemy to make money. I'd say the Ji Pei were the best chance for Eubric but after seein' where they come from, I don't think they need to be in charge here." "Still, what other choice is there. The damn Wolfgang? I've spent enough time outside the law to know better than to believe that."
-
"Oh, please. Marriage doesn't solve anythin'. And there's more than two Houses, mate. Look at the Bonapartes. They can't damn well maintain their iron grip when they're out killin' eachother." "The hell are you talkin' about?" Atramor frowned. "Tarn's in Dastan?"
-
"So you think killin' the heads of the Houses is gonna bring peace to Eubric?" Atramor scratched his head.
-
Atramor couldn't help but chuckling. "Oh, damn. Irony doesn't get any more blatant than that, mate." "S'long as people live on Olegaia, I don't think total peace can happen. Fightin' for peace is a lost cause if ya' ask me. I fight for what I decide is right." Atramor caught and pocketed the gold. "Thanks. You're a crazy old bastard mate, but ya' sure can crack some skulls."
-
The thing is, if we're counting that, Melvin has shown up in Quest 88 too, which brings his total up to eight.
-
I was writing a wiki article and it occurs to me this random dwarven cook might be one of the most well-travelled NPCs in the game. He shows up in seven quests. I think Wren and Felton show up in all the Wren Quests, so that's five. Surely there's some House NPC that's shown up more than him, though. Punii? Altair Ziegfried?
-
You'd have to build the sets yourself, though. Pretty much what Flipz said. Prophet has greater capacity for support, but not as nearly as much for damage. You already have Mediq for emergency healing. However, with Prophet you could also go back to your Crystal Mace.
-
Oh, I thought Ranger's Quiver gave 2 WP for some reason.
