I bought this set in Dieppe,France on a family daytrip in 1985. I built it on the way home aboard a cross channel ferry,i was 7 i believe lol!

I bought 5979 Max Security Transport and that didn't come with any sticker sheet! I rang Lego customer services and they sent a set straight out, wonder why they couldn't do the same for you?

As I said before im no big fan of LDD but your design is seriously making me have a rethink! I love the ship, it looks so right and would be something else to see in real life. I nearly bought some of those glass domes last week on ebay, wish I had now! Also love the way the one alien chap sits higher than the rest,has a very cartoony feel to it

I had quite a result last sunday,whilst doing a car boot sale(not sure what you'd call them outside the uk,basically a big field full of people selling mostly junk from their car boots!Anyhoo i found a chap selling bags of mixed lego for £1 each,i bought all 10 bags and found countless star wars figs inc darth vader,palpatine,r2 d2,2x scout troopers,obi won,boba fett and loads of other minifigs from various themes aswell as the limited edition nesquik bunny's head piece!What i mainly wanted was all the classic space pieces i could see in the bags,lots of trans yellow stuff and decorated bricks with the space logo printed on and plenty of red and yellow space figs too all in excellent condition! Ive also just won the 6982 - Explorien Starship on ebay for £13.00,ive not built it yet but thats a lot of pieces for £13.00!

Nope,its because i'd rather build in real life and not on a computer lol! I appreciate the time and effort put in but no picture can beat the real thing. Much better with those wings

Have to say that whilst im no fan of this LDD malarky,that really is a fantastic little ship! The side open view is really good,may even have to build a real one as im that impressed! Excellent design sir

In the uk i got mine from Toys R Us,i do believe argos are selling them too assuming they can get hold of them,i know my local tru had problems after their first delivery.

I'd love to join up too,ive been slowly gathering lots of classic space sets i'd like to review,ive got a couple of other bits and bobs that ive not seen mentioned aswell

An awesome little ship you've built there.If you dont mind me asking,what did it cost to build?I wasnt aware you could design your own model and have lego actually box it for you.

Thank you for understanding,i also see what you are saying about me buying and selling lots however my extremely full lego room means my love of lego is more than just making a profit from it.Between me and my son we chop and change themes quite regularly and having so much lego means we can happily sell bits and bob to help build up the next collection. I have been preparring a couple of reviews from some of the older space themes as well as some cool mocs too so whilst it does seem the bstf is my main hang out,i check out the entire forum everyday,i spend quite a bit of time on here actually,more so than the bmw forum that i administrate lol! (Also,the lubbly jubbly comment was quoting a uk tv program,im guessing you dont get Only fools and horses where you are but it was a huge show over here and its,sadly i'll admit,a comment i use quite a bit ) Anyhoo,as said thanks for understanding
