Hey guys,i dont really have too many sw figs now. Stupidly i sold most of my sw sets last year but now wish i hadnt as im right back into the theme again. I had a huge clone army at one point and im trying to get there again so its really either cash or what ive posted above. A great weekend for me,i bought three star wars magnet sets from the Lego shop at £2.70 each,one to keep and two for parts yesterday and today i got the new Star Wars battle packs from Argos along with Slave 1 for the reduced price of £53.99 in their sale! (my son also built that red ninja chef on the right in the build your own section at the Brighton store!)

I'll swap my race car driver for your elf if you like,the fisherman is on hold until i hear back from another member.

What a great read! I'd agree with most of what was first posted however come on,the troll battle wheel wasn't that bad! I bought the trolls fortress too, infact I bought almost all the troll sets and love each and every one. I think the original forestmen theme would have to be my favourite of all time, after the S1 minifigs popped up I bought way too many forestmen figures, I then had to buy some of the originals too! I was a kid when that theme came out but I was a space fan when I was younger and completely missed all of the old castle stuff, ive since bought a few of the smaller sets though. Whilst i liked the Medieval market village,its the only castle set ive ever put up for sale,its good but not that good. Detailed yes but a bit dull compared to my castles etc...and it doesnt really go with the other castle stuff imo. Take a peek in the for sale section if you want mine!

As said its all down to the individual. I keep all my boxes but then I have a large loft in which to store them so its no problem for me. I rarely buy sets for parts, I use Bricklink for that unless ive found a bargain! Keeping the boxes means that when I want to swap my displays about, I can simply put sets back in their original boxes and get the next theme going. Also, I do sell sets from time to time and having the box usually helps get a slightly better price. As for sorting, I would defo say that keeping colours separate is the way to go, when you get more of a collection you can start sorting by part type too if you're really nerdy like me! We have countless drawers, ice cream containers, tupperware boxes etc... filled with parts but this way when im looking for a specific part I usually know where to look

Im am shamelessly going to steal this design for myself!!! Great ship you built there,i wouldnt rush to get the 2011 sets,the colour scheme of the early sets is so much better.

Thats a shame for you,how about Bricklink? Atleast you have the LDD to build with, even if its not brickbuilt it still very impressive.

Thats a bit harsh i think. I built the original set today with my son, it was by far the most fun ive had building for quite some time, even more so when my boy got bored and left me to it! It is my first Lego train however so i cant say how good the others are. I'm really liking the mods to the set,the lights are especially good and defo something i'd like to add to ours.

I like it,i loved Blacktron the first time round so its nice seeing things like this. I would be even more impressed to see it in real bricks, is this something you'll do or will you stick to LDD?

@ Dunjohn-I have a race car driver i will swap for your s3 alien.Mine has been opened to confirm which one it was but its not been out of the bag.
