The Arc will be available from friday 1st jan from the Brighton lego shop,they have it in stock already but they aren't allowed to put them on the shelves till 2010.The shop assistant was quite shocked to learn that our local TRU shop was already selling toy story,ben 10 and atlantis sets!

I'd have to say im rarely dissapointed with my star wars sets,the only thing ive been unhappy about is the price of Echo base and the size of its box.Almost £22 for a few bricks is way over priced,the box could have been 50% smaller also lol! Otherwise i think Lego are doing a great job,i missed most of the early sets so re-releases suit me just fine

The Brighton Lego store has quite a bit on sale at the mo,some Agents sets,a few Pirates sets,lots of Indiana jones minifig magnet sets and Dwarf minifig sets as well as the Rebel battle packs for half price! Shane

Tis always sad when they discontinue sets but ive saved a massive amount this week on these four sets- AT-AP Podwalker Rogue Shadow MagnaGuard Starfighter V-19 Torrent Maybe i should have waited until Lego reduced them,i could have saved even more!

Surely this set is one of LEGO'S biggest sellers? I own eight now,i get one each time the wife drags me round Tesco's! Great review though,love the pic of your army too,mine is getting close!

We have a lego room too although its not quite so big as yours,it needs a good tidying up before i post any pics!

I got a great deal today from my local free-ad paper- 6210 Jabba's sail barge 7259 Arc 170 fighter 6208 B-wing fighter 7654 Droid battle pack 7255 General Grievous chase 7666 Hoth Rebel Base 7263 Tie Fighter Harry potter-Durmstrang ship Spongebob-Crusty Crab restaurant! City- Docks with the huuuge blue boat and crane etc... Huuuuge plane Huuuge Catarmaran speedboat Countless police vehicles Lots of other city trucks and cars.... Space- Large Alien ship (appologies for not posting all of the set numbers,im still sorting the parts into separate coloured piles at the mo and its taking forever!!!) It was the massive amount of star wars parts that sealed the deal for me,im missing a couple of figures from Jabba's sail barge kit and a droid or two but there are some extras,ive already put a bricklink order in for the few missing Helmets etc... All the above and no doupt more that i havent yet discovered for the bargain price of £75!!! Also have two other bricklink orders on their way and a seventh Clone battle pack too!

Thanks CommanderFox,they are painted with the little humbrol paints that most model shops sell.Im off to get some more colours later today today so i'll post some more pics when they are ready!

Theres some really big armies here,ive only been collecting a short while but its growing pretty quickly- Clones- Imperial chaps- (Im waiting for a bricklink order to turn up so i can replace the wild hair of those two clone pilots!) Rebels- Droids Defo more of a clone fan myself,ive customised a few of them and a couple of storm troopers too.(I know some of them are standing on megablocks baseplates,i like the way they look,so there!lol!)

Brickset says i have 32864 pieces and 370 minifigs from the sets i chose from their lists.I couldnt be bothered to list all our racers,technic or bionicle as it would take way too long to remember! Also didnt include the mases of boxes of mixed parts we have or the many minifigs ive bought via ebay,i'd say i have about 500 minifigs altogether,as for parts i couldnt say for sure but we have a room dedicated to just lego that is filled top to bottom so we have quite a bit lol!

Ive only just found this thread!Tis great reading what others have bought.Ive bought so many kits over the last few weeks,todays Ebay buys- 6205 V-Wing fighter 7113 tuscan raider set clone pilot shadow trooper torso clone trooper torso Who knows what i'll find tomorrow lol!

Theres so many great sets i could pick,i think i'll go with 5974,the Galactic Enforcer from splll.Its a big ship with lots of great features and cool looking bad guys,infact all of the splll aliens are pretty smart,tis a shame their ships aren't quite so good.All of the smaller Star Wars sets ive bought this year have been very good,i cant stop buying the clone battle packs each time i go near a shop that sells them! For me the worst kit i can think of off hand is the Star Wars Echo Base kit,£22 for five figures and a handfull of white bricks isnt great,infact its the only sw set that my son and i wont be getting for christmas this year!
