That is actually quite a smart little set, my son built it a couple of days back! I actually bought myself the Queen Anne's Revenge today, um'd and ar'd between it and the Black Pearl and decided I prefered the QAR but now i'm thinking I should have read this thread first and held out for the Dutchman!

There's only one of them! My son and I collect it together, he has his collection and I have mine,tho his way outshines my own

I much prefer to view all the pictures in one thread, it's very rare that i'll click on a link to someone's Flickr account etc...unless it's an awesome moc.

We've had a good Christmas this year although my Son's haul was a little better than my own! My boys- Mine- Ive also placed several Bricklink orders too

Early christmas present for me today- Also been buying the S6 minifigs all week, just the Mechanic to go now

Where from fella? I won 4702 The Final Challenge for a bargain price on Ebay! And the brighton Lego shop were giving these away for free!!! My son and I got one each,he also picked up 3815 Heroic Heroes of the Deep And a couple of magnets sets on sale-

My wife has almost no interest in Lego at all so I wont be buying her any, I do know she has bought me a few Harry Potter sets though My son however has four very large boxes in our bedroom stuffed with countless sets from many different themes inc Harry Potter, city, Alien Conquest etc... I think i'm more excited about Christmas day than he is!

They look great, the figs look a little similar to the Space Skulls from set 10192- Looking forward to the diorama

I sure am yes. I have already built several models from the book covering almost every theme in there. The pictures have been taken so really its just a case of uploading them all and writing the review. Should be up shortly!

Ah but as it came from a nineties idea book, I think it needs a nineties canon! (Especially as I had no idea there were different ones out there!) I only used the later minifigs as I stupidly sold all of my early soldiers last year

Being quite old means I was lucky enough to grow up with the classic and Futuron era sets. I have recently started collecting those again and have amassed quite a collection so far including the entire Space Police 1 theme! I remember having a few of the Blacktron II sets when younger but SP II was nowhere near as good as the previous SP range. My dark ages started around the early nineties so I missed all of the space themes right up to Space Police III which I have to say was utterly brilliant! Between my son and I we managed to almost complete that theme too. Alien Conquest has been another great theme that we have a complete collection of (although my son wont find out until christmas day!) I can't wait to see what Lego dream up next

I have most of the old ideas books, I actually have the little soldiers fort from book 260 built up as part of a review im doing on that book- I seem to have misplaced the large flag needed sadly,I feel yet another Bricklink order coming on!
