Ive seen a couple of great films this week, went to see 'Real Steel' last night with my son, was absolutely brilliant! We're both on a mission to build some of the fighting robots from the film now! Also watched 'The Green Lantern' a few days back on Dvd, another awesome film I thought (I have to admit to owning Battlefield Earth on Dvd, I actually like it even though it's a low point of Travolta's career. Im just off to hang my head in shame!)

REVIEW: BrickArms Mystery Pack vol. 2
charlieboy replied to SilentMode's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Great review matey, I bought a few guns from minifigforlife.com last month although I bought a large order of guns etc..that I wanted rather than buying the mystery packs. I quite like those ray guns, especially the silver ones, may have to order a few myself -

Hey guys, this is a bit of a longshot but im after a couple of pieces to complete the Space Police 1 6955 Space Lock-Up Isolation Base. They are available on Bricklink over in the U.S but are a bit pricey for what they are, if I get no joy here i'll have to bite the bullet and order them in but if anybody has them in the U.K, Europe or U.S and wants to sell or trade them, let me know. Anyhoo, these are what im after- Part number 200-Black Technic Rack Winder Axle Part number 202-Black Technic Rack Winder I have (or atleast will have by saturday) all of the current Sun newspaper polybags up for trade, I also have most of the last Sun newspaper sets too including the Jack Sparrow one and possibly some of the sets from the previous offer! Also have an S5 Graduate, with accessories but no original packaging. Name your price really! Thanks if you can help, all the best,Shane

charlieboy replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The new sets look awesome but for yet another X-wing and Tie fighter. Getting very bored with Lego releasing the same old ships with slightly newer pieces! -

charlieboy replied to tbroyd's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
It may seem alot but the shops in my area seem to have learnt from the last promotion and have made sure they have plenty in stock. Only once this week have my local WHSmiths ran out before closing time.I am surprised they let you claim quite so many however, I had a problem getting five ADU jet packs in my local Toys R Us! -
Hahaha! Herr Flick is brilliant! Loved "Allo Allo" but never thought i'd see it in minifigure form Excellent figures, the matador is very clever

I think you'd be better off posting prices matey, do you have an idea of what you would like to get for them? Asking for offers doesn't seem to get people very far ive noticed. Buyers want to know how much, I wouldnt want to offer more than you were hoping for and at the same time, I wouldnt want to insult you. -
Here you go bud.. Age: 33 Age you started building: 4/5 Country: ENGLAND Occupation: VAN DRIVER/COURIER Married: YES (DOH!) Children: YES 1 X 7 YRS 1 X 2 YRS Does your spouse or child/children build: MY SON AND I REGULARLY BUILD TOGETHER,MY DAUGHTER IS GETTING INTO DUPLO NOW TOO! Do you have close friends who build: NO Do you build together with your friends: NO Do you regularly attend Lego conventions: IF SOMETHING COMES UP CLOSE TO HOME,YES How much money do you spend on Lego product a year: £1000+ How much time do you spend building/playing a day: 2-3 HOURS,MORE AT WEEKENDS. Favored theme/themes: SPACE/EXO-FORCE AND THEMES SUCH AS BATMAN BUT ONLY FOR THE MINIFIGS Do you primarily collect retail sets, build MOCs, or both? BOTH Did you experience a "dark age": YES 1991-2008 If yes, what age did you enter your "dark age" 13/14 What age did you exit your "dark age": 30 Other hobbies (other toy collecting, sports, drawing etc.): I ENJOY TINKERING WITH CARS AND LOVE MY PS3! In your own words what makes Lego bricks so special: I think for me it has a massive place in my heart from playing when I was a child, these days much of it is nostalgic for me. Many of the sets I buy now I had as a child or really wanted but could not afford at the time. Playing with my son now brings back so many fantastic memories of my own childhood, memories that I would love my son to experience too. Of course building anything you can think of is a massive bonus, and showing my little boy how to build is great and seeing his face when he comes up with an idea of his own is priceless! May I PM you with a request for a personal interview: SURE CAN! Hope that helps
