  2. Hey there, where abouts in Europe are you? I have a Wolfpack minifig i'd trade for your Kruncha minifig? I'm in the U.K.
  3. Absolutely brilliant! Those little details are so good!
  4. One day i'll have all the old space sets but for now, a couple more for the collection........ 1620 Astro Dart 6810 Laser Ranger 6875 Hovercraft 6885 Crater Crawler 6876 Alienator Seven more good size Bricklink orders full of old space minifigs again and a few other Futuron and classic space sets
  5. I think its a fun idea but I would rather have the option to nominate my own candidate rather than having to chose from your list. As has been said, your list has some great minifigs included (i'll admit Dobby isn't a looker!)
  6. I have to admit that up until today I think i've avoided every thread on these Oxfore reviews. I had a few minutes to kill so thought i'd take a look and i'm glad I did! The set is of much better quality than I had assumed it would be, the box and packaging are also quite impressive too! I'm still not going to purchase one, not a whole set anyway but those hull pieces would get snapped up if I saw them for sale on Ebay or similar. I'm not one for mixing clone brands with Lego but I can see one awesome warship moc being built with parts from both. What i'm none to keen on is the random hollow studs on the pieces, like the spare 1x6 plate, whats the purpose of that hollow stud? Anyhoo, a great review of a nice looking set and thanks for opening my eyes a little
  7. What he said ^^^^^!!! Enjoy the forum fella
  8. There's one in Manchester next May- DETAILS HERE! The Steam event was at the begining of October in Swindon so you just missed that one. Keep an eye on the Lego shows area of the forum, we dont have a huge amount in the U.K sadly. Sometimes there are small Lego sections at bigger model fairs. I go to Modelworld every year in Brighton, they always have good Lego displays there
  9. Welcome to Eurobricks! I'm from West Sussex myself matey so probably not too far away from yourself! Enjoy the forum

  11. Hey guys, I have a couple of sealed Power Miners sets up for grabs. (pics borrowed from Brickset) 8189 Magma Mech £10 + postage 8188 Fire Blaster £5 + postage I'd be up for trading them too, i'm mainly into the older space sets, minifigures or parts but would consider minifigs or sets from some of the licensed themes such as Star Wars, Harry Potter etc .... I have a few polybag sets in my Bricklink store, i'd be up for trading those too (link in my sig) International sales are most welcome. All the best
  12. Welcome to Eurobricks Batman Enjoy the forum!
  13. + 1 for SilentMode,thanks again matey!
  14. I like the robot idea, maybe use the robot arm piece and make a cyborg? You could even use one of the many non human style minifig heads out there from another line, Harry Potter or Star Wars? How about customising one of those with some paint and creating an entirely new looking headpiece? Or, and I think this is my favourite idea, get yourself an alien from the series 3 collectible minifigs and use his headpiece on an SP III body (ive done this to a couple of my Futuron torsos!) Makes sense I think as the villains already have two of that species on their side! Squidman Squidtron s3 Collectible alien Would be an idea to have one of these chaps on the good guys team!

  20. You dont have to be a member of the accademy to post a review, you are most welcome to post your own reviews in the relevant forum sections. The accademy is all about learning how to make the best review you can, photography techniques, lighting ideas and how best to word your review to make the set you are reviewing appealing to those reading your work. There are a few other good reasons to join up- -You will receive a free course from some of the best LEGO set reviewers on the Internet. -You are given access to a hidden forum on Eurobricks (The Eurobricks Reviewers Academy). -You have the chance to earn a special Eurobricks Reviewers tag upon graduation. -Some graduates may have the opportunity to become a "teacher" (and moderator!) in the academy (conditions explained in the academy).
