  1. I really wished Lego stuck with the one in the prelims. Oh well. Any chance one of the figs in the Mando BP would be Pre Vizsla, with those special white markings on his helmet?
  2. As long as they don't snap, I'm fine with ball and sockets. Only a few more months to go. EDIT: Someone on BZP found the new socket piece:
  3. I guess I'm lucky, I'm more of the newer generation of SW fans. I'm okay with the OT saga, but crazy over PT - I've seen RotS more than 50 times already. And I think CW is the best CGI animated series ever made. About the V-wing - I'm really questioning the odd guns. The original captured the guns perfectly. I guess I'm going to have to swap them when I get the new one. And I'm still disappointed about the TIE pilot.
  4. Hehe. I just realized both BPs don't have flick fires.
  5. Hey guys. About Cad Bane's speeder - I know it's canon, but I can't seem to find a Wiki entry on it. Is there one? Thanks.
  6. Please do not bump a centuries-old thread, thanks.
  7. Beautiful - just beautiful! I'm not kidding when I say it's one of the best Bionicle/HF/Technic MOCs I've seen in a while. The colour scheme is fabulous, not to mention the use of parts, especially Stormer's arm piece. It seems the piece was made for this MOC! Simply brilliant! The only downside, of course, is the oh-so-awkward left side, but I guess that can't be helped with Stormer's weapon arm. But the right side more than makes up for it.
  8. Don't mind me, I've been busy lately, only got the chance to catch a few episodes of Season 2 here and there (and none of Season 3 ). Did Shaak Ti and Saesee Tin appear in any of the episodes?
  9. Mind linking it? Anyway, taken from the Ninjago 2011 thread: See the 2 armour pieces attached to this year's Hero limbs, in the middle, with the pink square? I believe those are HF 2011 armour pieces.
  10. Anyway... I just realized this isn't the first time Lego has made a droid carrier from TPM.
  11. The new Jar Jar is just delicious. Does it have a rubber head, or is that still unknown?
  12. I'm a sucker for snipers (as you can see from my username) so Surge is a must-get for me. Jetbug is also pure lovely. Not too sure about the other villains, though. As for the heroes, I'm getting Stormer as well, and maybe Nex or Evo. I have to agree Furno's goggles look plain silly. The other 5 just look great with their accessories, but Furno looks like a total idiot.
  13. Was it ever mentioned who the 'clone commander' in the clone BP was?
  14. Anyone? An odd question, I know, but still.
  15. I have similar complaints about the oversized red 'eyes', but upon pondering about it for a bit, I realized it's better that way. The only other alternative is to use 1x1 circle bricks, and that would look ridiculous. I still have complaints about positioning the barrel of the cannon higher in favour of the missile. Hopefully it's removable without using any additional parts. Other than that, I can't wait to get this set. I'm now in favour of getting this over the Droid Carrier, if I have limited funds.
  16. Awesome! I love it! The head is just so realistic!
  17. Hey guys. I've only been recently interested in the HP line. Well, aside from the Diagon Alley, will there be any sets next year? More specifically, sets from the Deathly Hallows movie? I mean, Toy Story went this route, releasing sets from past movies before moving on to the latest one. Thanks.
  18. Yep, I meant the lightsaber rod. :) The new one is REALLY really odd, wonder why'd they do that when the old one is much better. Oh, and the price for the Battles for Geonosis and Naboo are the same. Is that a mistake?
  19. Don't mind me being picky, but another issue I have with the V-Wing is the guns. The guns on the original are just perfect, but the new one seems awkward with the 1x4 SNOT plate on the 1x2 brick (not sure what it's called) with 2 cones on it. The old one used 2 lightsabers in black attached to the wing via Technic parts, which was much better IMO. But I'm still getting it.
  20. I agree! In fact, is there a mistake? The Battle for Geonosis costs the same as the Battle for Naboo/Droid Carrier? Not that I'm complaining.
  21. Thanks KDM! Not too sure if I'm keen on the BPs, I'm not a SW or a minifig collector, so I usually go for the vehicles. The Winter 2011 wave is just getting better and better.
  22. Does anyone know what the speeder and turret in the Mando BP are called, or are they non-canon?
  23. I totally agree. Those 2 are by far one of the best combo models in terms of the aesthetic look. I don't have time to elaborate a lot, by my favourite titans are Twilight Takanuva, Kardas, and Axxon & Brutaka.
  24. My thoughts on the new sets. The ones that caught my eye, at least. Battle of Naboo: MUST. BUY. LOVE THE GUNGANS, AND THE DROID CARRIER IS GREAT. Battle of Geonosis: Other than the BARC speeder, it looks great! Plus it comes with Luminara and Rex. It may be too pricey for me though, hopefully it isn't too expensive. V-Wing: Darn Lego. I loved the original pilot, the TIE one just turns me off. Oh well. I'll wait for better pics or reviews before I decide. I already have the old V-Wing, but this one looks great.
  25. It's just the prototype. For example, way back in 2008, Gresh's prototype used the old hand piece as well.
