Yea! I would have bought so many if they actually sold the set. Well I think the set is 3.99 at Target. That 1.29 price on the receipt is weird. Goods news everyone, yet .This one had 3 Escape from Dragon's Prisons 2 Prison Carriage Rescue. Making my 5th and final Target Practice. Still waiting on pick a brick orders though.

I think he just meant the visor helmet was only vailable in the advent calendar, instead of say a cheap set like an impulse to amass for lion knights.

Yep. This set is a great way to stock up on Dragon Knight Fortress pieces and a nice army builder too. They should make more sets like this. It's a nice combination of pieces, and troops. The horse barding really sweetened the deal too.

I got One of my pick a brick orders. I guess this went through faster because there was less pieces. The first order is still in customs. =(. Mostly skeleton bodies and limbs, and 40 gray knight helmets!

Yea That would certainly be nice. Thanks a lot. Yea I decided to make use of all of my horses for the dragon knights. I was hoping to have the entire army be mounted but I ran out of horses. Plus the quivers don't exactly fit with the saddles, I could force it but didn't want to risk any damage. Later on when my saddleless horses come in, I can put my entire draogn knight army on horses.

@Ogre Definitely agree. Make impulses as army builders and the special minifigures in sets. It's too bad they can't have the battlepacks on sale for a long time like they do for the star wars ones. @ UsernameMDM yea that is great. I would eagerly buy that by the dozens. And those sets you listed would be great. Man it would be so cool if they focused on army builders for various types. Like archer impulse with bow, crossbow, maybe spear as a defense spike. And infantry impulse like with a sword/spear/shield and armor and helmet. Then a knight impulse with the armor, horse, horse armor, helmet, etc. That would mean tons of sales! Or even make more knight pieces available in pick a brick!

I wish. The Good Knight was an amazing impulse. 2 weapons, 2 helmets, shield (i think), printed torso and an armor piece. Excellent army builder. Troll Warrior was underwhelming compared to that, but still a better army builder than the dragon wizard or court jester. I was going to get a legion of wizards to make regiment of battlemages but never did. Similar impulses to the Good Knight would be ideal, and a cheap joust set like The Final Joust for Castle 2007 would be amazing. Knight's Showdown, Prison Carriage Rescue, and Escape from Dragon's Prison are pretty good though. Blacksmith Attack would have been great if there was another minfigiure. How come they don't make more army builder sets? AFOL's would buy them by the dozens, and I am sure children would like to buy a few to have a small army of their own. I can't imagine too many children demanding their parents to buy them the court jester. but I could be wrong? I know the wizard was a top seller (maybe someone out there did make an army of mages). And man, I was hoping they would make another tic tac toe set and chess set like they did for castle 2007. And the past few themes all had chess sets! But none for kingdoms. =(. But at least there was an international release (I am from US so I only assume other countries got it as well?) of the advent calendar this year.

What I do is just open the bag with the minfigiures and accessories and take those out, then leave the rest of the bags in a container with the rest of my unopened sets.

I only have like 2 bows, but have lots of crossbows. What I do not like is whenever I put the bow/crossbow into a minifigure hand, it gets scratched up. Although it is not that noticeable especially in a sea of soldiers. Still waiting on my pick a brick orders of like 40 or more white horses. No saddles though. I only buy online pick a brick or official sets. Because A) to support Lego and B) sets like Prison Carriage Rescue and Escape from Dragon's Prisons are similar in price to bricklink once you break down the components, the minfigures, the weapons, the shields, the horses, and any other accessories like the horse barding. Plus free shipping from amazon and sometimes lego.com, and guaranteed excellent customer service. I guess if when the sets get discontinued, I might consider buying from bricklink to continue building my Lion and Dragon knight armies.

50 Lion Knights. Not nearly as much as I hoped. It is going to be a while before I update my Lion Knight Army. I hope to get at least 100 Lion Knights.

Nice me too. I have bought so many sets lately, that pieces are just lying unsorted on my desk. As soon as I sort some of them, I have already bought more sets hah. I think I am going to order nothing but more Prison Carriage Rescues and Escape from Dragon's Prisons for more troops and cavalry!

I would not mind the Hobbit if it meant orcs, elves, and dwarves!

I definitely want to see more Kingdoms sets. More army building sets like Prison Carriage Rescue, Knight's Showdown, Blacksmith Attack, and Escape from Dragon's Prison.

I like your use of the "crossbowman" helmets on the foot soldiers. Or are they supposed to be elite soldiers or captains?
